Never on time
I was there for a scrape and polish. Arrived at 10.50am for 11am appointment. Reception tells me hes just seeing is 10.30am appointment. I sat down and said to the lady afacing me who you seeing. She says him up there. Whinship. Yes she replies. I said hes only just seeing his 10.30am. She said she's 10.15am and she just went upstairs to the surgery.
I have chronic migraine attacks and am autistic. I had my fl41 glasses on to stop glare. The radio was to much and the florescent lights too. It got to 11.55am id had enough. I was overwhelmed by the loudness of tv radio and my head felt like someone was stabbing it. On the verge off tears I couldn't cope anymore and knowing once I got in the chair id have the bright dentist light to contend with too much. I told receptionist it 1 hr over my appointment, I'm autistic and have chronic migraine attacks which the noise and lights have kicked off ab attack.
Not autism friendly. They could do better. Offer noise cancelling headphones or earplugs. And possibly a darker area to sit as this helps keep autistics calm aswell as lower migraine inducing lighting.
