I emailed Powerflushknowitall for a quote on powerflush of 9 radiators & was quoted £540, i decided it was too expensive so i started to contact other powerflush companies, all the dates where over 2 weeks so I decided to contact powerflushknowitall again by phone i gave barry all my details explained the issues/number of radiators, I was quoted £460. Next day I get a call from Barry saying because I asked for a quote though email it has to be £540 & that he had mistaken my address for Coventry that's why he quoted £460. (I don't know if he's lying or being truthful, ill let others decide?) all I can say is its best to contact this company by phone you will get a far cheaper quote than by email, Now! from his reviews here I do believe he would have done a great job, its just unfortunate this happened, when I first phoned him I did tell him I emailed his company but he couldn't hear me as he was in traffic, Barry also said he would do the powerflush for £500 but he wouldn't make anything, making me feel guilty so I accepted £540 quote, after listen to family & friends I decide to cancel the appointment with this company & find someone local.

I guess what happened to me must happen a lot? you contacting the customer saying the price quote was incorrect because I thought you said a far away location. guess I got my answer if you was lying or not.

Barry did a fantastic job on our heating system - arrived promptly at 8am and worked solidly. He really knows his stuff, and shared lots of helpful information with us whilst he was there. Wish there were more tradesmen like him around!

Barry is an honest and flexible guy. I paid him for a house in Chatham who told me it was not needed after he visited and tested. He visited another property in Crayford and confirmed the power flush was required in that property. He also helped with some left over electric work by the boiler installer. He knows it all and is a good man who has worked in the plumbing / power flush trade long time. I will use him again and he is highly recommended!

The engineer turned up promptly and got on with the job. I now have a fully working heating system and my boiler has stopped sounding like it's about to take off!
The engineer also pointed out that my pump needed replacing which he sorted out for me too. Very helpful. Thank you.

The service was brilliant - from the ease of booking, punctuality and a fantastic job. Barry was very knowledgable and was very eager to help us over and above the actual job. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

Barry Nichols powerflushed the central heating system in my old house and so I knew he was the best man to provide that service in my new house. In December my heating stopped. I have a service agreement with a company who eventually sent me an engineer. The engineer spent 5 minutes in my house and told me that the system had sludge in it which had damaged the pump. He couldn't replace the pump as sludge had damaged it. Barry was asked to come and fit a pump he recommended and powerflush my heating system. Having examined the pump Barry told me the pump was 27 years old and the bearings had given up. The pump showed no signs of having been damaged by sludge. Barry then powerflushed my system and found almost no evidence of sludge as it appears that the system may have been powerflushed 3 years ago when a new boiler was fitted. Barry has agreed to put his findings on paper so that I can claim back the costs from my Heating service company.
Barry and Powerflush Know-it-all have yet again come up trumps. Barry is a legend and assures me that all of his engineers have been trained by him.

Today the engineer came and performed a microbore power flush on our central heating system.
Attention to detail with clear explanation.
He also gave really good advice on getting the best out of the heating system.
Highly recommend.

We had been having issues with our hot water and heating for several years. A number of engineers had looked at our system without resolving the issues and had told us we need to replace the boiler which isn’t that old.

Barry fixed all this. Barry arrived promptly at 8am, with everything he needed, including slippers to protect our carpet. He is extremely polite and knowledgeable, not only explaining what he was doing during the power flush but gave us brilliant advice to save on our heating bill and future boiler maintenance. His work is neat and tidy.

We are amazed at the improvement in our heating. Our house is consistently warm and the constant hot water (the shower was a nightmare) is now incredible. We feel like we have a new heating system!

If your house constantly feels cold or your hot water is playing up I can’t recommend Barry enough.

The engineer visited to power flush my hot water system but having evaluated he told me that there was nothing to indicate that a flush would be required despite this having been pushed by another company. I am so impressed by this level of customer service, very rare to find these days. I would very much recommend Powerflushknowitall to anyone thinking of flushing their system, best in the business.

MY SUPER HERO !! An ultimate find after months of a sick heating system ie noisy boiler 3 rads not working and the rest not up to acceptable heat . Due to barry being very busy had to wait 5 weeks , but well worth it. A true proffesional polite informative regarding on going care for my system. Arrived well on time at 8am as promised having travelled from asford in kent to my home in new forest. He is certainly the doctor for heating systems believe me shame i cant give 10 stars !! Barry was just brilliant! Gave great advice about running the whole system efficiently and saving money in the process. Totally customer service orientated.Thoroughly recommended.

They did a great job for us. They were unable to complete the job initially as there was something wrong with the oil fired heating system. Barry took the time to help our heating engineer to root cause and resolve the issue. He then returned to complete the job, only asking for his additional mileage costs. Great service on the power flush, which has resulted in a smoother running heating system. He also gave advice on how best to use the heating system cost effectively. We highly recommend.

I had a very noisy boiler and after being let down by British Gas, Barry was recommended to me. Barry is a breath of fresh air! He arrived on time and was extremely conscientious throughout the time he was working. In a world that seems full of “cowboys” (well I seem to find them) occasionally along comes someone who is genuine and knows what he is talking about. I had a power flush and the system is now quiet, no more 747 sounds coming from the boiler. I have two rads that need new valves, but other than that all rads are now hot so the heating is ready for the winter months! He left leaving me the advice to purchase some inhibitor and once a year just pour this into the tank. I would highly recommend Barry – he has gone away leaving behind a happy customer.

Barry (the Governor) came round to do a power flush and after taking one look at my boiler said the actual issue was with the boiler itself. He talked himself out of a job because it wasn't necessary, and he didn't want to take money off people for jobs they don't need.

In the future when I do need a power flush the first person I'll call will be Barry. He's an incredibly experienced professional with decades of experience. Following a good discussion gave me sound advice and next steps for my boiler and heating.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Barry arrived spot on time, explained what the job involved every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble, ours is a very old system, Barry got it all sorted, we now have a quiet boiler and hot radiators, many thanks Barry, a job well done.
