Great experience
I visited Prague at the beginning of August to have lens replacement surgery, and I honestly had a fabulous experience from start to finish.
The medical staff and everyone at the clinic were absolutely amazing. I felt very well looked after throughout the whole process, and I couldn't fault the care I received.
I also had two translators who were equally wonderful. They were both professional, kind and made everything so easy to understand, which gave me great peace of mind.
If anyone is considering having lens replacement surgery abroad, I would definitely recommend looking into this clinic. For me, it was a fantastic experience and also very good value for money.

Lens Replacement Surgery
Following consultations in the UK, I contacted Praga Medica to explore my options for lens replacement surgery, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed.
After submitting my details through their website, I was contacted by Petra, who remained in regular communication throughout the entire process. She was available via both email and WhatsApp, with the latter proving particularly helpful during my stay in Prague, as she was always quick to answer any questions I had.
As we wanted to make the most of our trip, we arrived in Prague a day early to enjoy some sightseeing. Petra was extremely helpful in assisting with the arrangements, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free.
On the day of my assessment, a taxi was organised, and Natalie from Praga Medica met me at the eye hospital. Although the hospital staff spoke very good English, it was reassuring to have Natalie there to guide me through the process. She stayed with me throughout the appointment and was available to provide support whenever needed.
Overall, I cannot fault the service provided by Praga Medica. If you are considering lens replacement surgery, I would highly recommend them. From the initial enquiry through to the treatment itself, the support and professionalism were exceptional. As an added benefit, even after including flights and hotel accommodation, the total cost was more than 50% lower than the equivalent treatment in the UK, and we also had the opportunity to experience the beautiful city of Prague.

My experience from start to finish was First class
My experience from start to finish was first class. We were picked up from the airport and taken straight to the hotel on the Monday . On the Tuesday we were picked up from the hotel and taken straight to the clinic where we had various eye tests. On the Wednesday we then had our first procedure. On the Thursday we had our first checkup and then the second procedure was conducted. On the Friday we had our final checks for both eyes and then we were picked up from the hotel and taken back to the airport. Throughout this time we had a Praga Medica assistant for the full five days who were at the medical Centre to advise us of every step of the procedure. At no point did we feel nervous because of the amazing service we had from all the clinical staff.
Finally, I would say that my eyes are at 80 to 90% but I have been assured that over the next few weeks this will improve further. I am absolutely delighted with my trifocal lens I had put in both eyes.

The result has been excellent (and better than anticipated) so far and I can now read and see on an interim distance (<3m). My longer distance is still settling down (3weeks post surgery).
Definitely recommend. One suggestion/tip is buy more of the eye drops at the clinic as I've had variability in UK equivalents.

Excellent Upper Blepharoplasty Experience
I recently underwent an upper blepharoplasty through Praga Medica and I am very happy with the results. From the very start, the communication was excellent, with prompt replies both before and after my surgery, alongside attentive follow-up care weeks later.
My surgeon was outstanding, she kept me at ease and delivered a natural, refreshed results that exceeded my expectations. The procedure itself was uncomfortable for the while but completely painless and lasted no more than 40 minutes or less I would guess. I was able to walk back to hotel shortly after the procedure for the evening. At home a week later my local nurse at home commented on how professionally the stitches had been done when she removed them! I know the swelling and scars will continue to improve over the coming weeks, but it already looks great to me. The logistics were seamlessly organized, including smooth airport transfers and a great hotel stay. My assigned medical tourism manager, Marketa and Michaela her colegue were amazing - they kept in constant touch via WhatsApp and provided 24/7 reassurance. Thank you Marketa : ). They recommended a hotel near Prague’s Old Town which was comfortable & served an excellent breakfast, and the lovely staff always provided ice for my eye patches : ) I highly recommend Praga Medica for their professionalism, outstanding surgeon Dr. Fajtová and for genuine patient care! Thank you.

Lucie Foitová from Praga Medica handled the coordination professionally and connected me with Dr. Jandová, a true specialist in veneer treatment. I was very pleased with the level of care I received when I travelled over from London for both my pre/op and the operation. The attention to detail from my escorts was fantastic, everything was as they said it would be. Thanks to zuzka and her colleagues for the smooth process getting my eye surgery done especially as we missed our flight out . Everything got sorted out after a stressful experience missing the flight.
