I tried to do a simple £5 EE top-up, but they hit me with a deceptive, hidden £49 subscription buried in shady T&Cs. When I requested a refund, customer service completely refused and hid behind nonsense excuses.
Absolute thieves—avoid this site at all costs and top up directly through your mobile provider!

I don’t care what any positive reviews say on here, I can guarantee you they’re paid for reviews. This company is a disgrace. It’s entrapment. You think you’re just doing a one time top up and all of a sudden days later they’re trying to extract £49 from your account. Luckily my bank blocked it!

DO NOT USE. Bought £10 credit for in laws then they took £49 from account. bank refunded luckily but had to change card. The email they sent to pressure my in laws to pay was titled “Urgent: Final Notice – Update Payment in 48 Hours to Avoid Data Loss” which is complete scare tactics preying on vulnerable people.

I bought a £10 top up for my elderly mums phone on Saturday, i noticed yesterday that they were trying to take £49 from my bank, i looked into this & found they had set up a subsctiption without my knowledge & the subcription was hidden behind the check out process, i cancelled the subscription & told them i want a refund, they offered 20% i sm contacting the bank to have this pending payment blocked & will be reporting to the financial ombusdman for subcription traps & fraudulent activity regarding payment taking without authority

Con/Fraud! Stay well clear!
They are operating a con where you buy some credit (which you never receive obviously) and then you are signed up to a payment debit of £49 GBP. Luckily I saw it pending on my banking app and the bank are now blocking the company. What I want to know is how on earth is this company allowed to trade, as it is inside the EU and surely subject to EU laws.

FRAUD of a company STAY CLEAR!!!!
I paid for a £10 top up, All worked fine. Only to find out 3 days later i was charged £39.00 for a subscription i never signed up for.
If i signed up for a subscription service they need to issue you a payment schedule via email. So you know what you pay and when you pay it. They did not issue that to me. They did however show my an image of a email that they said was sent to me that was a fake image.
When i made a complaint to them they offered me 30% refund as a gesture of goodwill. I told them "on their bike" refund or i contact my bank. The next step they offered 50% and that the maximum they would refund. Told them i would not accept it and that i have given them ample information showing they never fulfilled any of the guidelines that they need to follow as a reputable company.
Joke was on them, i got in touch with my Bank and contacted the fraud department (as a payment was taken without any consent) They took down all the info and i issued them all the images i sent over to this FRAUD of company. Within the next 48hrs i was issued a full refund from my bank.
I suggest anyone on this site to get in touch with their banks fraud department.

Hidden £49 recurring subscription trap on £5 top-up — Demand a full refund!
Beware when making a basic top-up on this site. I attempted a single £5.00 mobile top-up, only to find an unexpected £49.00 subscription charge taken from my card days later under the descriptor "prepaidmobilerecharge".
The recurring fee was hidden behind unclear checkout terms. When I complained, their compliance support initially rejected the complaint then after a significant number of chasers, offered partial "goodwill" refunds (first 20%, then 50%) to try to settle the dispute. Do not accept partial refunds.
Once I formally issued a deadlock notice and escalated the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) against my bank for refusing a chargeback, the merchant issued a 100% full refund.
If you were caught in this trap:
Reject all partial refund offers from support.
Demand a 100% refund in writing.
If they refuse, file a chargeback under Merchant Misrepresentation via your card issuer or escalate directly to the Financial Ombudsman
