Jaime fixed our bath taps today and did an absolutely fantastic job. The taps were very old and hard to get to. Jaime had to remove tiles, solder, and adapt the pipework. He's a highly skilled plumber and the rates charged by Prestige Plumbers are more than fair. We will be using them for all our plumbing needs.

Please don't use PRESTIGE PLUMBERS Ruislip/ Uxbridge. SCOTT ALLEN of long lane Ruislip/ Uxbridge agreed to bathroom refurb, took over 3k of deposit in Sept 2025 for works to be completed in Oct 2025 which did not get done.

I had written a previous review on nextdoor in January. however agreed to take it down as Scott agreed a payment plan.
Received 2 of the installments. Last installment of over 1k was due on 24.2.2026. Scott has given countless excuses such as son has diabetes, he forgot to process the refund. Bank blocked the payment. His family member has health issues so he went to sort their affairs and will 100% refund me on his return. Then Scott sent his engineer James who did not turn up when I contacted Scott he said he may have gone to the wrong house. Scott was away for Easter and would come on his return. The day he was to come he says slipped his mind. Then transferred in 2 payments last week which I am still waiting.... Am sure another excuse coming......

Please be ware of this company and Scott Allen of long lane/ Ruislip/ Uxbridge, I had used his company in 2024 with no issues hence I was going to use again. Please check all reviews on other websites this man / company can not be trusted.

Warning - there are 2 Prestige Plumbers. I have no experience of the one in Hampshire, but the one in Uxbridge (run by Mr Scott Allen) should be avoided at all costs. You can read more about them at Google Reviews, but their scam is basically taking large deposits from people and then inventing excuses (usually involving relatives having to go into hospital) to avoid actually doing the work. Eventually the customer gets fed up and requests a refund, but in the meantime this man has basically had an interest-free loan for the period prior to the customer realising he's been conned. So, by all means use Prestige Plumbers in Hampshire, but avoid Prestige Plumbers in Uxbridge like the plague.

Don’t touch them. Took an advance then kept making excuses for delays and never showed up. Promised a refund but 3 months later no sign of it.

It refers to Prestige Plumbers in Uxbridge. I don't know what to make of it. They installed a new boiler and disappeared.Claimed to be gas safe registered but I can't find them in the register, Maybe the number lapsed? The installer told me I will get the guarantee sent to me. Only a few days left.
But the engineer does not reply to emails and phone number he gave me is "not recognised".
Can't register my boiler and get the guarantee until i get the info I need. I don't need this stress. Hence one star. Will edit this review if situation changes.
The boiler is working well, however, and the job was done swiftly and smoothly.

I had a problem with a kitchen sink tap and phoned them on Monday. They offered a next day service, but as I had a Hospital appointment, they said they would turn up the next day (today).
Sure enough, 9am, the guy tuned up, explained the problem which he then sorted. Whilst he was there I asked him to look at the Corner Bath Tap... as expected (and as previously advised) it is a Tap that is not able to be repaired but would need replacing.
So, 100% satisfaction.

I received a notice about my high water bill with a suggestion to get a plumber to look at it.
Prestige plumbers attended and fixed a slightly leaking toilet then left even though the water meter was showing the was still a significant leak.
His comment was that I should wait for the next water bill to see if there was still a leak. Even blind Freddie can read a water meter mate. Just rubbish advice! I was not going to wait for second $1,000 extra on my next water bill in 3 months to see if there was still a leak!
I then sent them a video of the water meter showing that they had not resolved the problem.
I then found the leak myself. They came out and their quote to repair the leak was $1,100. It is just insulting.
I bought the $14 hose fitting from a store and fixed it myself.
I will use a different plumber in the future.

Do not use prestige plumbers from Uxbridge, Scott Allen uses pressure tactics in order to get business and hides behind a reputable company who are legitimate, he then makes excuses as to why he can’t come when booked. He took a large deposit for a boiler refit and then used his son as an excuse as to why he couldn’t attend. Eventually I had to report him for fraud once realising, looking at others reviews that he was likely scamming us. His website does not have a company number despite looking semi professional and his work address is fake. He might be on the gas safe register ( with the fake work address) but he is not reliable and I would not recommend.

Ickenham/ Uxbridge is a dishonest fraud and a thief. Wish id read these reviews. I'd never have gone near him.
He's an experienced con artist.

Firstly Simon answered the phone when I called, very unplumber-like!, listened to what I was saying and arrived to assess the problem the next day. He managed to squeeze me in between a hectic schedule and sorted the problem that another plumber had to walk away from without any teeth sucking or tutting or hystrionics and all at a very reasonable cost.

For emergency plumbing problems, these guys are terrific. Called at 07:30 following a burst pipe in airing cupboard and spoke to a really helpful chap who advised he’d have someone with me later in the morning. Plumbing engineer on site at 10:10 and problem solved by 10:25. Amazing response time, professional work and very reasonable price. Can’t ask for anything more. 1st class from start to finish.

From the moment we entered negotiating with the service, everyone was extremely polite and courteous. Someone came virtually immediately to look at the problem and we were sent an estimate within 48 hours. The job was done thoroughly, neatly and tidily.

I came across Prestige Plumbers after finding their website on Plumber Check. I found the site clear, helpful, and full of useful information. What stood out to me was their 10% discount for NHS staff and service personnel — a nice touch that shows they value the community. Overall, very professional and easy to deal with.

Hi these guys are the real deal… not the jokers from Uxbridge who I know very well as they are so called family, unfortunately they are cousins of mine and neither are plumbers or Gas engineers…

Guys before you go any further give this guy a break! The company you’re all leaving bad reviews for is a different prestige plumbers, I’ve had no dealings with this prestige plumbing but it only takes 5 minutes to do your homework, I’ve just been done out of £480 by Scott Allen and as a tradie myself I’m gutted I didn’t do my checks first. But ffs do ya homework before you leave bad reviews and ruin a man’s reputation!

Scott Allen is an absolute fraud! Charged for the boiler supply & fit, never showed up, provided fake address and refused to refund the money.
Ignores all messages, then all of a sudden contacts me to ask to remove a review and promises to repay the money. So I did, just to wait for a further 6 month - still no money, just empty promises. Reported this to the Police. Disgusting operation, going to Small Claims Court with it now.
Please be aware that there's a company in South Hampton with a similar name that has nothing to do with Scott as far as my knowledge goes. This group is based in Ickenham / Uxbridge and should be avoided at all costs!

Mr. Scott Allen is a fraudulent and dishonest individual who is NOT a qualified plumber. He is a qualified crook and first rate liar. Do NOT do any business with him unless you want to be ripped off. He has taken a deposit of £1226 from me and has not returned it to me despite empty promises to do so. He is acting dishonestly and told me to sue him and that he will make it as difficult as possible for me to get my money back.
His business bank account has no money at all and he is definitely suffering money problems. He has no morals whilst deliberately ripping people off. He will suffer the consequence of his dishonesty and fraud.

Stay well away from Scott Allen and Prestige Plumbers of Ickenham/Uxbridge/Ruislip

We employed this company to instal a new boiler. Many weeks later boiler still not delivered or installed and although refund offered never processed. Don't waste your time or money.

A job given on 16/02/2023 which did not take place. Cancelled it and requested a refund. Super running after my refund! Excuses after excuses and policy procedures excuses as if I am a illiterate. Scott lost a renowned lawyer’s business and further recommendations. The company doesn’t like returning refunds if there is a cancellation. Not a good recommendation.
