Subject: Request for Full Refund – Reservation and Unsafe Shuttle Service
To Whom It May Concern,
I am requesting a full refund for my parking reservation and shuttle service at Pride Parking near Chicago O’Hare Airport.
I purchased parking for my trip from Chicago O’Hare to Miami, Florida, from Tuesday, September 8 through Saturday, September 12. Pride Parking was one of the available parking facilities listed as offering a free 24-hour shuttle service.
Reservation Details:
* Confirmation Number: [INSERT CONFIRMATION NUMBER]
* Parking Dates: September 8–September 12, 2026
* Reservation Fee: $18.06
* Parking Charge: $78.12
* Total Amount Paid: $96.18
Upon arrival, my daughter and I found the establishment completely empty. There was no employee inside. The only information posted was a handwritten sign stating “Pride Parking” with the phone number (847) 678-1234.
While we were sitting there confused, a van pulled up with a handwritten Pride Parking sign. The driver, Jose, got out, and I explained that I had a confirmed reservation.
Jose initially could not locate my reservation. I provided my confirmation information and even handed him my phone so he could see the confirmation number. He eventually located the reservation.
During this process, however, I was improperly charged an additional $156.24 and was also charged the $78.12 parking fee. I questioned the charges and expressed my concerns about how the situation was being handled. The customer service I received was extremely poor. When I asked for the owner’s name, Jose stated that he would provide it later.
The $156.24 charge was eventually reversed/refunded, but the $78.12 parking charge remains a charge that I am requesting to have fully refunded, along with the $18.06 reservation fee.
The shuttle ride was also extremely alarming and unsafe. During the ride, the driver made what appeared to be several illegal turns, drove aggressively, nearly struck pedestrians, and made frequent sudden and extremely hard stops. My daughter and I were genuinely concerned that we could be thrown from our seats, hit another vehicle, or otherwise be injured.
This experience was completely unacceptable—from the confusion surrounding my reservation, the improper charge, the poor customer service, and, most importantly, the unsafe shuttle transportation.
Because the service provided was unacceptable and raised serious safety concerns, I am requesting a full refund of the $78.12 parking charge plus the $18.06 reservation fee, for a total refund of $96.18.
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide written confirmation that the $96.18 refund will be issued.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Thank you,
Davina Scott
