worst insurance company I have ever dealt with
Been on the phone 40 minutes to discuss my policy renewal. Passed pillar to post.
Awful customer service. I'm no further on from a satisfactory outcome.
Music was dreadful whole on hold.
Don't bother
Tried to phone them to cancel a policy, but waited over an hour in the queue. I then had to cancel the direct debit as there was no way to get in touch with them. Then they sent me a bill for 90 pound saying they will use any credit cards on file to take my money. I don't think this company would pay out if you had an accident.
From the start this company were saying if you dont do this, your policy will be cancelled, if you dont do that, your policy will be cancelled, and true to their word once they had our money they cancelled our policy, and out of £313 they offered us £37 (we had been with them less than a month).
I would say they were always going to cancel for one reason or another and keep our money.
The reason they used was we didnt supply a DVLA share code in time. My wife sorted the policy out and didn't know what a DVLA code was as it has never been asked for before. You could say she should have asked but she suffers from ME and gets brain fog, and couldn't work out what it was. I did tell the company this, but to no avail.
They offered no customer service at all except to threaten to cancel the policy, many times, for various reasons.
I have been insured for over fifty years and never come across a situation like this. Do not trust this company with your money, from my experience they will take it and offer nothing in return except a cancelled policy.
