Buyer Beware

Terrible company. Needed a deck of cards printed for my kid's school project. Paid for the express print and express shipping so like $40 all in all. Their website showed the delivery date and now it's 2 weeks after the fact. During this time we emailed and called (had to leave a voicemail) No phone call back and we got a generic email response back with no real information regarding our order. Do not order from these people ever unless you love non-existent customer service and weeks late shipments. If it takes a month for 32 cards I can't imagine how long a bulk order would take. Your grandchildren will have a lovely memory of you when it inevitably shows up 10 years after your death.

Replacements delivered as promised.

Recently, I bought a bunch of "Perfect Bound" books. When I received the order, one of the boxes was hanging together by a single thread of tape with all the books inside damaged. I contacted Printvie, got them some pictures of the damage and they handled the interactions with the carrier along with sending me replacements for the books. The quality is good, the price is good. The only down side with the company is, their communications could use some improvement as it's hard in certain parts of their process to figure out what's happening w/o actually contacting them.

Even if you select “no proof required”

Even if you select “no proof required”, PrintVie still sends you a proof (which you don't see because it goes to spam - while you think your order is being processed!) — and until you approve it, your product won’t go into production. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for a faster turnaround. When I brought up the delay, instead of helping resolve the issue, they made me pay for express shipping to get the product on time — even though the error was, in my opinion, on their end.

Then they say that was not the reason for the delay, they say you don't have a "file uploaded". Although it lets you get to the end and check out - and it shows you clearly did upload the file prior to check out.

The only positive thing I can say is that their customer service at least replies to emails, but unfortunately, they do not take accountability or offer real solutions to help the customer. I would not recommend them if you’re on a deadline or expect a smooth ordering process.

6 weeks late, rude, untrustworthy, disorganized

Ordered from them September 3rd and the print has just been put into production. Once, you place your order, you have to do a few things on your end like confirm the layout etc. I did everything on my end immediately which they told me they received and said my print would be put into production. After a week of no news, I reached out to them only to find out that they had an error on their end and that I needed to approve it again. These type of mistakes persisted for a month before they barely started printing. I was told it would take a little over a week, I did what I had to do on my end quickly, and a month later and they haven't even printed my book much less shipped it. I missed many opportunities because I needed a physical portfolio/resume to hand out at events and for jobs. Every time I request help it takes days to get a response and they never answer the phone. They aggressively avoid communication and any accountability. Mistakes are normal but what's not normal is the way they treat you when they constantly make them. Especially with how much money you spend. The least I would expect after 6 weeks of delay is for them to express ship my print once it's done but every time I ask, they don't say yes or no, they ignore me. Don't print here, they don't care about their costumers and you will lose money. 1/10

I've been seriously duped.

I sell a high ticket, printed product to my clients and thought I'd give Printvie a shot.

I went through them because of their beautiful website with the refined ordering process.

And that is where they got me:

- Turnaround time took twice as long as what was promised on the website. It seemed like my order would only get updated if I emailed in to complain. I promise a deliverable date for this product and it doesn't look good to my client when I have to keep making excuses for my printing vendor.

- When the product finally arrived, I couldn't believe what I saw. Despite them asking how many pages were in my book, it seems they have a serious mistake in ordering process because they double-printed every page and BOUND IT IN THE BOOK!!! That means that they took my money for unnecessary pages and just shipped the book off to me without a check in or confirmation.

- And the icing on the cake - Quality control is of no importance to Printvie, as the pages of my ordered book all have a streak running through them, presumably because whatever printer they're using isn't pushing ink out evenly. And again - no word from the company on it.

It's become apparent to me that while their website gives the impression of a company with tremendous sheen and polish, this company must operate out of someone's garage.

Horrible customer service and dishonest deliverables makes this an unfortunate but easy 1-star. DO NOT risk your dollars or your business with them.

They will alter your order without consent

I placed a printing and binding job in late June. The job got held up several days due to unnecessary proofing that was not requested.

The order finally gets to production and I am told it would be 5-7 days. After 17 days, I had not heard a peep from them. I reach out and am told oh we had to reprint because it was too thick for the binding and that they had reduced the paper weight down to the least quality thickness and I should weight and they would contact me when it was ready. My page count was 30% below the maximum page count laid out in their requirements. I asked why they didn't contact me the customer before making adjustments to a requirement that I was paying for and that communication is required before making a material change in product and that if I hadn't inquired about my late order, the order with an unapproved change would have been shipped as if it was what was originally requested and that would be fraudulent.

They then informed that they were just going to cancel my order.

Bottom line is they don't communicate. They will change your order without consent and if you don't ask ship it as the original. Avoid a company that thinks it has authority to alter an agreed upon product.

Was beautiful when received, fell apart after just a few months of gentle use…

We loved our bound book when received, full of stories we’d written for our grandchildren. Unfortunately, after only a few months of gentle use (the kids could only use with an adult), the pages started coming out. They even sent us 2 books initially and both started losing pages at the same time, even though one was at our house and not used as much. We paid over $100 for the bound book. We contacted Printvie and they would not stand behind their product. We’re very disappointed and would not recommend their services.

Great Product - Easy to Order

I wanted to make sure and let everyone know we had a great experience with PrintVie. We ordered 90 copies of a large (180 page) (8.5x11) spiral-bound book. It took 2 months from order to receipt. Our files were a complete PDF, so the process seemed pretty straightforward. Added text changed format between upload and digital proof, but PrintVie was quick to correct it. They responded pretty quickly with any questions. The books arrived looking exactly as expected. I would definitely use them again for printing.

True reflection of our recent…

True reflection of our recent experience would be zero stars. We ordered a large amount of perfect and spiral bound books. When they arrived over half of them were damaged. Scratches, what looks like grease stains inside the books covering multiple pages, bent covers and pages. Then when we tried to get a refund they told us we would have to send back the defective product. As we had an event (which is why we ordered the books) going on it took us two weeks to go through all the product and identify the unusable items. I requested shipping labels to return and got no response. I sent a few follow up emails with no response. Finally recieved one a month after request saying “too much time had passed and they would no longer be honoring the refund”. We will never use them again. Very sad.

I couldn’t be happier

I couldn’t be happier with their service and results. It’s exact to specifications and I will definitely be using them again! I ordered three books. Two spiral bound and one smaller folding book (don’t know what it was called specifically off the top of my head) but I highly recommend.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! In late December I submitted a proof and paid for expedited print and shipping. Their website did not mention they were closed through the holidays. Finally received my product the third week of January and it was incorrect. They admitted it was their fault and would reprint it. I tried to be kind and understanding. I was told in early February it was in the queue for print. This was a dated product so I was hoping to make some slight changes since I could not sell according to my schedule. As of today (February 25) , I have not received my corrected items nor have I received confirmation of shipment. They indicate they will not issue a refund. I do not have a product and it is dated so not able to be sold at this point. I am out over $500. I would not recommend PrintVie.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company. I place an order 6 weeks before I needed the print. Upon proof approval I never received a shipping confirmation email, and was told multiple times by customer service agents that my order would "ship the next day." I had to last minute order from a local print shop to not miss my deadline. This is not a trustworthy company.

Pleasantly surprised

I was reluctant to order due to the bad reviews on here. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered because I couldn't be happier. The price was great and I received my order way quicker than I expected. People seem to only leave reviews when they had a bad experience so I thought I'd share my good one.

Buyer beware

I placed an express print order with PrintVie.com, paying extra for a promised 2-4 day turnaround to meet my deadline. It's now been 7 days, and the company informed me just before the deadline that they couldn't deliver on time, leaving me in a difficult position. This experience was particularly disappointing as there was no apparent effort on their part to rectify the situation. I would advise caution when placing orders with PrintVie.com.

Nightmarish experience, wouldn't refund incorrect order

Where do I begin... Well, before making a purchase of some booklets, I emailed customer service to check their specs on page quantity. They confirmed the way I was setting up the file was fine and that they'd know what to do from there. Fast forward, after I sent my file, they proof they sent was all messed up ("their software's fault"), so I had to send in a new file (they had not provided details about it on their site). They kept delaying getting back the second proof to me. I called and called and no one picked up. When someone finally did, they were able to push it through.

All this to say, the proof I eventually approved was NOT was I received. They added additional blank pages which messed up the layout of the entire book. On top of that, they only offered to cover half of expedited shipping costs, even though the delay was THEIR fault because they couldn't get me the proof back within their own time limits.

Once I finally received the books and tried to contact them about them being incorrect (again, no one answering phones), I wrote an email, which took them days to even acknowledge. After that, they asked for photos of the book I received so they could open a case. It took more than a week to even get them to get the photos because they claimed they didn't receive them. After they finally did, they told me they couldn't refund me because the blank pages were a result of the printing options I chose, even though they assured me the way I was setting up the file was fine AND extra pages they added were not on the proof I approved. Even though I did not receive the product in the way I approved it, they refused to refund even though the books are unusable.

If anyone had bothered to check the physical proof before printing all 100, they could have easily seen that it wasn't right. They should have checked with me if they weren't sure but they didn't, so now my org. is out $800+.

No ownership of their mistakes. Ignoring my emails for days until I follow up with a second one. Customer service was absolutely awful - they need to hire people to answer their phone. Taking more than a week to respond to a customer support email is unacceptable, especially when clients have deadlines.

I guess you get what you pay for, they're the cheapest I could find. Will definitely not consider purchasing again - I'd rather pay more money for better quality and customer service.

Wildly late and zero customer service

I paid extra for expedited production and shipping so it would arrive in 10 days or so... it took nearly a month for it to show up and we missed the date for this 90th birthday gift we were printing. I tried reaching out to customer service and didn't even get a reply. I then tried a chargeback, but CC said since I had received what I paid for, they were ruling in Printvie's favor. Run away.
