I bought this for my teenage son who was starting to experience teenage spots. I bought the starter kit for £30 for one months supply. It doesn’t work, he’s still got spots. Therefore I thought I won’t order that again.
However, Proactiv had a different viewpoint & sent me a further order but triple the size & price. This was something I had not deliberately or knowingly ordered so emailed them straight away when it became clear they hadn’t made a mistake and that they had intentionally sent me the order.
Suffice to say they didn’t reply to my emails despite getting an automated response saying they would respond within2 days. I did manage to speak with an advisor on the phone who was rude & obnoxious & basically asked if I wanted to cancel my membership. I told him I hadn’t entered into any membership but he wasn’t bothered about this. In order to get my money back I have to return the products I didn’t order at more cost to me. It really is a disgrace & becoming more common were customers are being entered into memberships unknowingly.
If you buy this product for the first time CHECK THE SMALL PRINT as you will end up with a membership you may not want.

When you order a one month supply you are automatically signing up to a rolling contract.
Customer services by the sound of things is based in someone’s kitchen in Wolverhampton.
If you have ordered at any stage, contact your bank and block them instantly before they help themselves to your money.
Unfortunately for them they were stupid enough to attempt to con and harass me but they were very much mistaken.
With intervention from Trading Standards they were made to look very foolish indeed. What a great feeling😂
Scam subscription service
Buy once to try and without any updates I’ve apparently joined a monthly subscription? They didn’t even contest that it was BS when I called to ask what was going on. Charge only went out as I got the parcel I wasn’t expecting.
Cancelled with them but also cancelled at the bank as I wouldn’t trust them to cancel it. Now I have to return a parcel at my own cost I never asked for.
The product isn’t even that good either.

The customer service is absolutely horrific. I spoke to the same man twice who struggled to string a sentence together never mind tell me what had gone wrong. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH. This is the worst company ever. I wanted to try the products out as I have severe acne. Not only did their products made it 10x worse, they signed me up for a contract without me knowing!! They never pick up their phone, the chat doesn’t work and they won’t reply to any emails! I had to call my bank to get their account blocked from taking my money. They are the biggest scammers taking advantage of people !! It’s unbelievable that celebrities support this. Beware DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

The celebrities that endorse this product should be ashamed of themselves. I ordered a months supply as my daughter really wanted to try this for her troubled skin. After a month of using, her skin is the same if not a little worse. I then noticed I had £34.95 taken from my account by Proactiv. I rang them to get a message saying they had a technical fault and might have to wait a while. I eventually spoke to someone who told me that the products I ordered were part of a subscription and would be deducted £34.95 every 3 months. I had no email to confirm I had subscribed to Proactiv, no email to say that they were going to take the money out of the account. Their website is an absolute joke. I cancelled my subscription and have sent the products back. They do have a 60 day money back guarantee. So I await with hope for a smooth refund of my money. Fingers crossed.

I first used this and my skin was irritated slightly, dry and flaky. It peeled. recently i noticed it becoming increasingly irritating. i stopped, and today i woke up with severe blisters and sores all over my face. I have never had bad acne and my skin is normal type. i would not recommend this to anyone, it also bleaches your skin and i have noticed it.
Don't waste your time or money
Despite the mixed reviews from the sources I looked at, I decided to give their products a go. Everything was delivered on time. Started using the products straight away, following the instructions provided -
1. the 3 step cleanser, pore target.. and moisturiser left me with a slimy/soapy feel which isn't comfortable for any mousturiser.
I powered through but at the end of week 3, I had to stop using them as
2. the skin on my face which had been gradually going dry, was now that dry, it was painful to touch and had started to crack open and peel. This is not something you ever want to experience.
I then had to embark on this recovery program, which has thankfully introduced to the new skin care range I am now using, a mix of boots (cucumber based range) and tesco (vitamin e range) own branded stuff.
Back to proactiv, the fun was only beginning. I lost my bank card so the installments I set up hadn't gone through past the first payment so I started calling them to pay up/arrange my return for a full refund, first phone call was on the 4th of May.
3. Everytime you call you hear the same message, we are experiencing a high volume of calls due to technical issues, call back if not urgent or hold - heard this very same message over the next month and a half including today. Are they technical issues that they are not even trying to resolve?
4. Everytime I opted to stay on the line, I eventually got cut off except on 3 occasions where I was put through to leave a voice message for someone to call me back. I left 3 voice messages and asked them to call me so I can make a payment, never received a call back.
5. If you email their listed email address, you get a failed delivery error so - the email address on the website doesn't receive emails
6. Funny thing is it used to send emails. By this time, I had missed my first installment so had received an email from that same email address to remind me to update my payment details. I even tried replying to said email and it bounced back again.
7. Then today, 19th of June, they answered and after the briefest hold time, I finally talked to someone to take payment and tell me I'm over the 60 day return period so no refund and they have now cancelled my subscription.
This is a 0 star experience. I wouldnt waste my money, time and energy on them

Contacted customer service by email 3 times over a week ago now about returning products for a refund but still no response.
I have contacted my bank to cancel future transactions and raise a dispute to get my money back considering proactive 60 day money back guarantee policy.

Trick you into signing up for a contact then when you want to cancel you can’t. We got charged £90 after the £30 we paid for a trial which we cancelled I rang them on behalf of my girlfriend and the woman in customer services said because of this she will cancel £30 off the account so I only had to pay £60 and then the account would be cleared. I payed the £60 then we had more letters saying we still owe £30.
We rang back and told them what happened and they wasn’t having any of it and said that we had to pay the other £30 which they scared my girlfriend into paying.

Firstly there is a small print that automatically signs you up for more frequent orders when you make your first purchase . the will automatically take money out of your account after this. Not everyone sees it. I fell for it and was upset.
Anyway the product doesn't work waste of money.

Bought a kit for myself and my husband and ended up subscribing without knowing. Now I can't seem to cancel the subscription. Every time I call, they say I'll get a call back but never do. Getting charged for two kits every two months that I don't even want. So annoyed!

The product seems quite good but they are a terrible company, with terrible customer service. They keep you on chat waiting for a member of staff and after 20 minutes cut you off. If you phone and by a miracle they answer it is only to say we will call you back. They do not. They rarely answer e-mails and when they do they have the facts wrong. I already was tricked by their system which unwittingly enters you into a contract whereby they take money from your bank every month. Having sorted that I placed another order, but despite them taking £43.18 from my bank on 26th April, I have nothing They answered ONE e-mail saying the order was on its way giving me the Hermes tracking number, BUT that Hermes parcel arrived today and contained a smaller order of one item for 22.34. So they have the wrong Hermes details for the wrong order number. They are now ignoring me even though they have my money
Delivery is extremely late, Poor customer service
I ordered the kit which was due to be delivered at the office last week but due to the bank holiday and the fact the delivery option did not give me an option for residential or office. Its now over a week, I have run out of the product, my face is breaking out and the company Proactiv uses for deliveries just cant seem to get it right. I called the proactiv call centre on the 3rd of may 14:15, corrected the address. Got a notification for tuesday delivery, got another email from the courier claiming they tried to deliver. I got no notification or call from our reception in the company. This is ridiculous, Proactiv team does not even follow up to confirm if your order is in but so quick to sign you up for a debit order. Extremely poor customer service
