I've Been Patient and Now its time

I've been very patient with Magix and the premium version of 2024 music maker. The issue or disagreement I have with them is not related to the software but the loops packages they have on Producer Planet which belongs to Magix. When you purchase the premium version they give you Three loop pack purchase credit and one loop pack bundle credit but of course they are to purchase the NON-Commercial use version.

The loop package that came with the Magix Music Maker Premium called EDM Slap House, I was told was for non-commercial use. Since I created a nice track with those loops, I decided to purchase it for Commercial Use (Royalty Free) version so I can post it online and do whatever I want with it. I asked their customer support if that credit they gave can go towards the Commercial Use version which is more expensive of course but I didn't ask to get it free, I will pay the difference, that way I can use my credit towards something I want.

Three weeks ago the EDM Slap House was going for $15.99 for the Commercial Use (Royalty Free) version and the Non-Commercial was $7.99 (With my credit it was for Free $0.00), I've been waiting to get a reasonable answer if I can apply the credit and they asked me to give them the information of the loops, I sent them Three seperate links for the three packs I wanted which were all discounted and One link for the pack bundle credit... They did nothing...

I went back the week of Dec 25 and saw that same pack was now $9.99 Commercial use (Royalty Free) and the Non-commercial was now for $4.99.. So this whole time you can control the pricing and do sales on pretty much everything but you couldn't honor a credit toward that same one that is now discounted? I didn't ask you to give it for free, I told you I will pay the difference, I don't care much about the non-commercial version because I want to use all the samples online without having issues with being blocked or content removed.

I haven't heard back from them and even provided them with my cell phone number to call me to discuss and see why are they very stuck on not giving credit or being able to use for either pack. Based on what found, the credit for the pack that came with the order is 50%, I even told them I am not greedy and wanting to use the credit towards the expensive packs or bundles. I provided them the links for the already discounted packs that I wanted to purchase and they would still have made money, nothing was free.

I know the customer service rep (M****le) that I was working with was doing her best to help me, but her managers are just worst and yet again, if she didn't notify her managers of my complaints, I guess they will now find out because I asked her to connect me with a supervisor or manager.

Between the discounts I've seen, even Royalty Free packs going for $4.99 and Non-Commercial for $2.49, they would have been able to accommodate a paying customer who've just bought other packs that are not part of the sale/credit.

Shame on you MAGIX, more reviews will come... I will place a follow up review in a few days... they're reputation is already going down, and looks like they don't care. see you soon...

I don't know where MAGIX is heading with theirs ideas

The website is quite easy in use (excluding very poor searching). However amount of things, that are being sold there, is low - comparing to other websites like that.

Furthermore, things that are there are expensive in my opinion. The website, by default, doesn't show prices that are for the full versions, but just for the non-commercial licences - you have to select an item you want to buy and then select the other type of licence. Things with "for commercial use" licences are much more expensive.

I might add, that I own some VST's plug-ins from them and they only work with their software (MAGIX). On other websites I can buy much better plug-ins with nice deals (most of time cheaper than on the producerplanet.com) that can work everywhere!

I don't know where MAGIX is heading with theirs ideas, but if they go like that, they won't go far.
