Avoid - let's hope the GMC do their job

Long established and well respected surgeon Mr Prakash. Caused a blister/burn from the liposuction during lower face/neck lift causing a disgusting inch wide weeping wound for weeks. Overall poor result and worsened appearance. Gave him 18 months to admit that things hadn't gone right. Two other surgeons deemed too much fat taken and tethering of the muscle to the skin. He finally admitted I needed revision surgery but I was to pay towards it. I had no faith in this guy and my family certainly weren't going to let him touch me after everything. He refused to claim on his insurance, he refused to admit liability to my medical negligence solicitor. Three years on his financial situation is so dire that I am taking him to court on my own back with all the information my solicitor has got ready for me. This guy should not be practising he lies, he diverts and he swerves accountability. He did not document the injury during surgery and he omitted things on his notes probably hoping that I didn't take photos. Meanwhile I still have a nasty burn scar under my neck and it looks like I've had some kind of accident with my neck. Happy to provide evidence for anybody interested - avoid this guy there's a reason he has CCJ's against him and is under warning from the GMC - complaints are already in with GMC and CQC let's hope they do their job as regulators and help me - it's not about compensation now I'm trying to do the right thing for others.
