You can't trust them. I bought an LTD deal from them over a year ago. They promised it would include all future updates. I purchased the deal not to use the tool immediately, but as an investment in its future. However, as soon as they started releasing "real" updates, they asked for monthly payments! I can't rely on them, and even if I wanted to use the tool, I would rather choose another option with better features from a company I can at least trust. I will never use or pay them another dollar again. That's yet another few hundred dollars wasted.

Dishonourable. Left original backers out in the cold with a legacy system that they themselves admit isn't fit for purpose. Continuing on with an 'upgrade' that original backers aren't invited to as part of their deal.

AVOID.
You can't trust this company.

There might be a slew of less than flattering reviews for Project.co surrounding mine as the owner has essentially reneged on promises made to their early adopters. At least now we know why any updates always took a long time to implement - they were busy building a new version in an effort to milk more money out of their customers.

Truthfully, the product isn't bad, per se -there are lots of quirks, it can be slow and janky but mostly does what it says on the box. The question you need to ask yourself is are you comfortable trusting someone with a track record of moving the goalposts when it profits them most?

Software, pass. Ethics, fail.

Project.co simplifies client collaboration by centralizing tasks, discussions, files, and timelines in one intuitive platform. As a consultant juggling multiple clients, I benefit greatly from its clarity and structure—every project has its own dedicated space, which keeps communication focused and easy to track. The real-time updates and visual task boards help streamline workflows and avoid confusion or duplicated efforts. By reducing email clutter and making project progress transparent, it has made my client management more professional and efficient. It is a good project management tool in version 1 & 2. Recent release of V3 left their early adopters stuck in V2 with no further updates forever. Their terms and conditions from previous sale strictly mentioned the cover of future updates. But this is not honored.

The thing I like most about project.co is that you can jump in and go. The interface is easy to use and you'll know what to do as soon as you log in. But don't mistake this simplicity for lack of power, it also has the features you need to make sure your project is organized and executed successfully.

I love using project.co. It brings everything I need in a project together, like communication, task management, planning and best of all, I can embed anything that I need outside of project.co.
