The work was professional and just on time.

I'm an international PhD student, I have tried working with many proofreaders before they were all good but the work or Hayley the owner of the Proof edit service is just exceptional. Clear timeline, convenience price (10% discounts for students), good email communication, respect deadlines and obviously high-quality work, which is for me the most important qualities amongst all.

The hard step about writing a book was choosing where to publish it. I was looking for a good publishing house that will fulfill what I have in mind. That is when my mother recommended NOTEBOOK for me. She has been a client for many years. She used them in her researches and even her Ph.D. and she is still using them for everything she writes.

I had a bad experience with her. she did not answer my call and emails after getting money in advance. unfortunately, this happen as well with my friends after collecting the money for dissertations . Her work is good but you can not trust on her commitments.

I really recommend proofedit for academic proofreading, they are professional and on time, and they respond very quickly to emails. I sent my work as seperate chapters in different days, the amendments are impressive and consistent. I like also that I receive two files, one where you can track all the changes and another where all the changes applied. Will definitely work with them in future.

It is my feeling that the editor in the responsible for the company is deserving of a much appreciation. My supervisor is telling me that the articulation is much improved and I see my grade is improving with every essay and paper I am sending to the Proof Edit. Hayley is caring for what I ask and is quick in her responding and completing of the works. I know other companies that are not Proof Edit but that cost more fees and do not completing so quickly or with the articulation improved. I think when students are coming to the United Kingdom for studies and can be intelligent but are struggling in the English writing, they should speak to Hayley. I will be recommending my friends and family to the services also.

I see a few reviews on here about people saying that they got scammed but i do not know why that is.
I read these reviews after i already paid for my editing so of course it scared me.
So i went to the editor and asked her if she can keep me closely updated and send me every single chapter as soon as it was done.
She did this perfect! she was always polite and she replied to me very fast!

She did an amazing job editing my 30k word book and no i will go on publishing it with her help.

I saw these reviews after being asked by Proof Edit to leave a review elsewhere. I'm surprised and even angered on the company's behalf. I have worked with Proof Edit for several years. My supervisor at The University of Salford was a long standing client and he recommended their services. I have worked with Hayley on essays and assignments, and now on my doctoral thesis. Work has always been completed on time and to a standard my university has been very happy with. I must say that only on one occasion did my file not arrive, but this was promptly resent (I think my Hotmail account might have been the problem). I have worked with this company for 3-4 years now and I have recommended to my family.

definitely a scam and fraud. she gave me hope as she was willing to edit my work urgently but unfortunately after i made the payment, she never replied my email. she definitely had broken the chain of trust for the services.

replies to initial emails. after receiving payment, the editor hayley brierley-roberts writes to confirm receipt, then case closed. you wont receive any thing else from Proof Edit and definitely not you work or your money back.

8 long months ago today, I paid Hayley Brierley-Roberts the sum of £630 (at a reduced rate) to proof edit my book’s manuscript which in her own words should have not taken more than 20 days. Since November 2010 and after a countless stream of excuses I still have not seen a word of the promised work, or in fact, the money I asked be refunded for unfulfilled contract.
The unbearable part of this sad story is that, in the meantime, I have lost a one-in-a-life-time opportunity to present my edited manuscript to a well-known publisher due to Hayley’s unprofessional conduct by not completing the editing of my book by January 2011 as earnestly pledged by her.
I have given Hayley ample opportunities to come clean and face up to her professional responsibility with a customer that deposited trust, time and money in her professionalism and human decency which she has not shown thus far by replying to my countless emails.
I hold no grudge on Miss Brierley-Roberts or would go as far as to characterize her conduct dishonest and fraudulent, but her professionalism leaves much to be desire.
In June 2011 she told me she could do the work by the end of June (6 months after she’s supposed to have done it) or return my money. I opted for the latter with no signs to this day of my money or an explanation. It burdens me to go to the police with this matter because no one should go to this extreme to seek justice (recover money) from someone who advertise these type of services on internet without having to face up to the trust people deposit on her.
