Very premium materials, which I expected, but what really struck me was the fit. It really was a different experience that way. Everything really did feel 100% tailored to me. Game changer!

This firm of shirtmakers is now my go-to place for my present needs. It is not easy to tackle a septuagenarian, corpulent, fussy dresser with a short trunk and long arms—a French-cuff-wearing sartorial dude sauntering into the sunset. Well, they have proven to be just the right people to handle me. They are patient, obliging, and unafraid to allow several trial fittings just to get the right fit. And they are quick to respond to queries and emails—a rare breed of tailors in an age of formulaic products and services.

Ordering a suit was easy. It arrived very well packaged. The suit fit perfectly, I had measured myself using a tape measure and the instructions on the website. I think the suit is a great value for the price I paid.

Only place to buy shirts and suits online

I ordered a suit for my wedding. I wasn’t sure if it would come out well, so I ordered suits from other site. The Proper Cloth suit was a 10/10! Great fit, excellent materials and came very quickly. I didn’t need any tailoring and am looking forward to wearing the suit on my wedding day.

Getting custom-fit clothes from Proper Cloth is one of the best things you can do to improve your mood. Having shirts and pants that fit properly, in fabric you choose yourself, is magic. If Warren Zevon was writing Werewolves of London in the year of our Lord 2026, the lyric would be "I'd like to meet his Proper Cloth stylist". (Warren could make that work, I'm sure.)
