I decided to purchase a rental investment in Kalkan after I understood it to be a beautiful and classy town on the Turkish Riviera. Omer collected me from the airport and after learning that I'd never been to the area before, drove me around every area in and around Kalkan and Fethiye. The following day was exhausting after being shown villas, apartments and off-plan areas - probably 35 sites in all.
After making a shortlist of two properties, another visit was taken and the decision was made to purchase a villa in Kalkan and deposit made.
Omer was fantastic with everything including answering my endless stream of questions and putting my mind at rest with the whole process.
I was taken to Fethiye to open a bank account, get a tax number and meet the solicitor and even taken to the market for lunch (a must if you like fish!).
Payment has now been made and snagging is being done at the moment.
I still pose many questions to Esra, Cameron and Omer which are all answered promptly and I whole heartedly recommend Place Overseas to anyone thinking of buying a property in Turkey.
Omer will hopefully remain a friend and I will certainly meet up for a Raki everytime I visit the villa!

We looked at various, good quality properties and there was no pressure to buy. I made a decision to buy a new build house, they took care of all of the legal procedures and helped me to open a bank account, get a tax number etc. I was also taxied around to select furniture, bedlinens, towels, kitchen & dining ware etc.
As with any new property, there was a snagging list, nothing major but quite a few small things that needed fixing before I could move in.
I was regularly informed that the snagging was proggressing, and then that it had been completed so I paid the final installment only to find that none of the snagging had been done. I now have to deal directly with the building company to get these jobs finished, a long and frustrating experience.

After painstakingly searching site after site after site, I came to the conclusion that any property worth considering always ends up on Place Overseas. It's hardly worth looking anywhere else! Jon from the UK team was a mine of information and this amazing service was unbelievably bettered once I got to Turkey. Omer gave me more time and assistance than the fee warranted and, thanks to him, I am now the very happy owner of a brand new 3-bed duplex in Calis. This was bought off-plan with a "significant" discount negotiated by Omer. And the service didn't stop there - Ismail & Oz helped us furniture the apartment down to the last teaspoon. A great bunch of guys both in the Uk and Turkey and a service I've not seen bettered.

My wife and I bought a retirement bungalow in Uzumlu, where we now reside.

We moved here after some friends (who also bought through Cameron) moved to the area and recommended we come out and have a look.

We contacted Cameron to ask about our options and he was very thorough and went through the buying process step by step. When you don't know the country you're moving to (language, bureaucratic process etc) you need to find someone you can trust to do what's best for you. After our friends' positive experience with Cameron we had full faith in his ability.

We did hit a couple of snags - mostly paperwork - but these were ironed out with the help of Cameron's Fethiye staff and a local lawyer.

We are now happy in our lovely new home and have no plans to move back to the UK!

I came across Place Overseas on-line almost exactly six years ago when I was looking for an apartment in Turkey - and I have never looked back!

I had many conversations with Cameron, whose professional experience, guidance and knowledge was very helpful.

Once I had decided on Kalkan as my preferred area off I went on my own for a viewing weekend where Omer looked after me so well, ferrying me around to many apartments within my meagre budget - even to the point of taking me to his parents farm one evening up in the mountains to enjoy a fabulous meal with their neighbours.

Narrowing down my choices I was finally able to come to a decision and bought a lovely apartment with a wondrous view across Kalkan Bay.

I still own the apartment, enjoy holidays out there (not as often or for as long as I would like unfortunately) and rent it out during the season.

I cannot fault Place Overseas in any respect. I was superbly looked after before, during and after my purchase - always considerately and never with any pressure.

I cannot recommend Cameron and his team (both in the UK and Turkey) enough.

Place Overseas are a friendly and co-operative company. Always listening to your needs and requirements without pushing you to make a decision.

One thing that I would say makes Place Overseas stand out from the rest, is the way they treat you as a friend rather than a client. It is easy to tell that they work for you on your behalf in order to assist you in your search for a property in Turkey.

My wife and I have been looking for property in Turkey for a few years now and have been dealing with Cameron and his staff as accomadation is rated by stars I can only give Cameron and his team 5 stars plus .
They listen ,dont pressure ,list fors and againsts wether in Bodrum or Fethiye,They are considerate at all times and make what could be a daunting experiance a plesurable one

From our first email to the company back in July we have experienced an excellent service from Place Overseas. We have an unusual set of requirements for our Turkey property as we have an adult Son with Autism and so it is important to us that we get it exactly right. Cameron has listened to our requirements and let us go at our own pace. The viewing trip in Bodrum was very well managed and although I was apprehensive about going on my own Darren and his team put me completely at ease and worked hard to show me a diverse range of property. I feel confident that we will eventually find our perfect Turkish property with the help of Cameron and his team. I think that we have to put our trust in someone when buying overseas as we just don't know the process and the pitfalls. Cameron has always been honest about the process and the pitfalls and his knowledge of the area is immense.
