Can’t fault these guys! After filling out a form for an online quote on the Sunday afternoon, I was called back Monday morning and someone was at my house looking at the problem by lunchtime. Job was completed within a few days. Everyone I dealt with from the company was friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgeable. My house was left clean and tidy. And all for a reasonable price! I’ve already booked them again for another job!

On a Wednesday morning, with temperatures just below freezing, a national maintenance firm conducted a boiler health check and condemned my old boiler of 17 years, capping it off completely. No heating, No hot water and covid stopped us going to neighbours for showers etc. I contacted several companies for quotes, with only Protech seeming genuine on timescales. Following a set of quotes on the Thursday the boiler was selected and deposit paid by Thursday evening. Friday was site visit for photographs to check installation spot. Saturday morning the engineer arrived, and by Lunchtime we had hot water and central heating once again. Protech staff look smart in their embroidered fleeces, the van looked professional in it's markings, not just a plain what transit. All work was completed professionally and the place left clean and tidy. Don't bother with anyone else, I'd go straight to Protech.

From start to finish Protech were very good. Kev inspected site listened to what I wanted and quoted for the job. He made me feel comfortable from start to finish. A small hiccup when boiler ordered did not arrive with supplier. This was overcome and work commenced the day after originally planned. A larger boiler was sourced at a small increase in price.
Gas engineer Sam arrived and began work straight away. A polite articulate young man. At 1300hrs Tom arrived (Sam's apprentice) to help with the work. An electrician Jess completed the work force. At 1615hrs the work was complete, tested and working. The standard of work was very good. Only one small problem, maybe better floor protection coverings could be used.
When I had to make contact with the office, Mike, Eve and Claire were very helpful and polite.

OH! by the way it all seems to be working well. 60 hrs post job completion.

I had a heating engineer set up to replace my broken boiler but there was an issue with the earliest date due to do the work to Christmas and New Year. Then the Engineer had a loss in the family. So I had to get another company to do the work. My next door neighbour recommended ProTec Boilers. I contacted them and they were very efficient visiting my home and giving me a date for the works. The date was still three weeks away so we had four weeks without heating. However when the due date arrived, the ProTec Engineer duly arrived early and got to work. An apprentice arrived shortly afterwards and about six hours later we had heat. The price was 10§ more than the first company but when it’s as cold as it was I was glad to pay the difference.

I have just had a new boiler fitted and was given advice as to what boiler would best suit us.It was fitted with a date to suit us and we wasnt waiting long.Joe the fitter was very good he did the job great. He was polite and chatty and everything was left nice and tidy.
