Fantastic…

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Protur Alicia in Cala Bona and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. The hotel is in a perfect location right on the seafront, with lovely views and just a short walk to the harbour, shops, and restaurants. It had such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and really comfortable, with housekeeping doing a great job every day. The beds were super comfy and the balcony was a lovely bonus for sitting out in the evenings. The whole hotel felt clean, well looked after, and peaceful.

The pool area was brilliant — plenty of sunbeds, no rush in the mornings, and a really calm environment which made it easy to unwind. There’s also a rooftop pool which gets the sun all day and is a lovely spot to relax. As we visited in April, the rooftop bar wasn’t open, which was understandable, but it would have been nice. Some background music up there would also have made the atmosphere even more chilled.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to help with anything. A special mention to Natalie, the entertainment organiser, who was absolutely lovely and really made the stay even more enjoyable.

We also have to give a big shout-out to the bar staff who were brilliant — great at taking the banter and always up for a laugh. Ivan, Jorge, Juan Jose and the lovely lady (I think her name was Ivis) were all fantastic and made the evenings really fun. Their friendly service and sense of humour didn’t go unnoticed and added so much to the overall experience.

Food was also very good with plenty of choice, fresh options, and something different each day. Breakfast in particular was a highlight, and the bar service was great throughout the day and evening.

Cala Bona itself is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing break, and this hotel is ideally placed to enjoy it all. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would happily return again. Highly recommend Protur Alicia for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, well-located hotel for a chilled holiday.

Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel and Spa

Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel and Spa
Just returned from a wonderful 10 days here.
As part of a resort of hotels there is always something to do from Aqua gym in the main pool to pistol shooting at the clubhouse. Staff are so friendly and helpful, huge selection of food in main restaurant even for the pickiest of eaters. minibar in room is restocked daily and is part of all inclusive.
Pool bar food is also really good although additional charge as not part of all inclusive.
2 pools, 1 adult only has a small pool bar, this pool area is VERY quiet. Main pool, children’s pool area is where the hotel activities take place, no issues getting a sun-bed as plentiful but I appreciate this was not high season so may be more of a challenge June- August. Pools have a lifeguard, Maria was our lifeguard and she was very visible walking around pools not just sitting in chair. Also super helpful with minor medical issues.
Rooms are lovely with modern decor and cleaned daily, touch controls for lighting.

Awful Aircon and no animation team

Aircon since the 2025 refurb at the Safari park (in sa coma) doesnt work. They now have a centralised system which cant cool the rooms below 25 degrees when the hotel is at full capacity. Complained at the desk, but they cant fix it. Even at night it doesnt get down to the minimum setting(21 degree). I know this as i set it to auto (so it switches off) and never once in the two weeks switched off. Also, since 2025 the animation team is now half the size (only two reps) and they dont put anywhere near the effort is as they did in past years. Sadly this makes a once great hotel, distinctly average.

We had a wonderful family holiday at…

We had a wonderful family holiday at Protur Bonaire Aparthotel. The whole place was spotless and well maintained, with fantastic pools and a splash area that our kids loved. Our apartment was spacious, clean and practical, with a handy kitchenette that made family life much easier.

What really stood out was the staff – every single person we met was friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay extra special. A special thanks to the entertainment and kids club team (Valk, Lovisa, Sarah and Letitia) who went above and beyond to make sure the children had fun every day.

The location near Cala Bona harbour was perfect for evening walks, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing yet lively family break. We left with big smiles, tired but happy children, and lots of memories. We would recommend Protur Hotels without hesitation and will definitely return!

Bad experience

We were a family of11 and while it was great for children and the hotel was very good ,however as 2 sets of grandparents there was, in my opinion discriminatory rules, we were all inclusive and when I went to the bar for a drink it was served in a paper cup ,I noticed 2 men with glasses and asked for the same but was told they are only for people who pay,I argued that we have prepaid and was told that is the rule,I then asked for the manager and was told he would be in touch, I still haven't heard from anyone, also there was no where to go to have a quiet drink everything was outside, the indoor bar was closed for the summer .while cala bona is beautiful I would go back but certainly not to this hotel

Special and Memorable Stay

Special and Memorable Stay

We’ve just returned from the most wonderful stay at the Protur TUI Blue Hotel in Sa Coma, and we honestly can’t recommend it enough.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such care and warmth by every single member of staff. The level of service is exceptional – the team really go above and beyond to make you feel special. A huge thank you in particular to Aaron, who looked after us both evenings at dinner and was outstanding, and to Becky at the swim-up bar – so friendly and incredibly accommodating.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and we felt so lucky to enjoy some of the fantastic facilities during our stay. What was meant to be a birthday celebration ended up feeling more like a honeymoon! Every detail, from the service to the setting, made it a weekend to remember.

A huge thank you to the team – you’re in the business of making people happy, and you absolutely nailed it.

Protur Vista Badia 10 out of 10 for excellence

We went to Protur Vista Badia for a 11 night stay.As my wife is disabled this resort was very accommodating, it has walk-in shower and ramps to make life easier. All the staff are excellent and food in the a la carte restaurant is delicious. Food in the buffet restaurant could do with being hot. drinks are excellent. The music by the pool is very repetitive, We hired a wheel chair from the reception which is very old and could do with being replaced. I wish I could single out a member of the staff but it's a 10 out of 10 for every one. We enjoyed the holiday so will be definitely returning.

Protur Safari Cala Millor, Majorca (formerly Holiday Village)

We had a lovely break and booked one of the private pool rooms which was nice, but we will not return. The hotel is definitely geared up for younger families. A couple of grumbles; lack of air conditioning in public spaces and restaurants, uncomfortable to eat in; too hot to use pool table or ping pong as in a large glass conservatory type room and no working air con in the room, it was like a sauna. Asked at reception and said nothing they could do, we spoke to a few other guests who had also asked about this; The Football pitch is only available for children attending the football academy, locked at other times, so we could not use some of the advertised facilities we picked this hotel for; Bar areas could also be improved, if you want to sit in the reception / lobby area or outside seating area near the fountains you need to walk up and down a flight of stairs to get drinks. Also all inclusive offering limited compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at.

Protur Calla Millor Majorca

This was a surprise birthday holiday gift from my wife. Our Tour company completed forgot that my wife paid for a special birthday surprise. Even after being reminded at the hotel they still did nothing at all, this amazing hotel with its staff decided to do something special for me and got a special dinner table outside and gave me a bottle of Cava to make up for my disappointment.
A special mention needs to go out to SARA in COMEDOR, the service and treatment from her was second to none, she’s an absolute credit to Protur.
The hotel is clean, modern and very nice. Service is excellent and the food is the best buffet food that I’ve ever had, you still get freshly cooked meat and omelette.
There is a lovely pool with all the usual amenities, but hidden on the 6th floor is an awesome infinity pool with a grill and bar, seating and beds to enjoy the sun and views.
The staff are all friendly, helpful, professional, polite and always smiling. The hotel is clean and modern and the rooms have everything that you’d expect from a better 4 Star hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Great Hotel, excellent staff definitely recommend

The Bonamar is a superb hotel in a perfect location with beautiful sea views.
The one constant you notice throughout your stay is that all the staff here are so polite, friendly, helpful and efficient throughout the hotel and work really hard to ensure you’re looked after.
All the public areas and around the lovely pool are very welcoming as they are cleaned on a daily basis as are the rooms. We found the rooms quite sufficient for us and the FOC fridge was quite handy.
As said all the staff throughout the hotel couldn’t be faulted but The “Jewel in the crown” is Natalie, the pocket wizard, who organises the activities and entertainment. She’s infectious, always smiling and on the go and goes around making sure everyone and everything is ok and she’s great fun.
We will definitely return and recommend this beautiful spot

Shame!

Protur Alicia hotel in Cala Bona lovely hotel, close to amenities, staff fabulous but the lack of efficient room air conditioning is spoiling our holiday!

Advised reception that our room is too hot and we have been told that the temperature is pre set 18’ the coolest it will go and nothing can be done!
We paid extra for a hotel with air con so either it should be sorted or taken off as a feature, “ stars “ removed and price reduced!

Everyday we are exhausted as we wake up hot and sweating and can’t get back to sleep! We are not the only guests affected by this !
This is our fifth visit between us and May
well be our last now!

Protur Vista Badia

This was our first time staying at Protur Vista Badia, it was a last minute booking, but we were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is fabulous, great rooms, fabulous food (even for a picky eater), exceptional staff. Loved that the sun beds were in two’s and evenly spread out, and no matter what time of day, we always managed to get one, as they all got the sun all day. Would highly recommend this hotel, and would have no hesitation in staying again in the future.

Protur Alicia never again .

We have just come back from an 11 night stay at Protur Alicia in Cala Bona. The hotel was in an excellent location with stunning views. Clean and modern. However if you wanted a sunlounger you needed to be up by 7 am and we even witnessed towels being put out the night before. Then there was the food !!!! Half board, breakfast was tasteless the eggs were sloppy and waterey and the sausages and bacon were luke warm. Same with evening meal nothing kept hot all luke warm or cold. Vegetarian option
SALAD. I was ill twice and my husband once. We complained to hotel and rep. Waste of time. We went out to eat which cost us more money. Lots of people were saying how bad the food was. Would never go to this hotel again as don't enjoy being ill when we have paid alot of money. Tried to email the hotel once we were home but twice my email came back as message blocked. Glad to be home.

My experience

We went to Protur Safari Park and just to start with, we started our 11 day experience being excited for our first abroad holiday in 4yrs. However, the food standards quickly turned from good to poor with the food being extremely cold and even the eggs were either undercooked or overcooked. Furthermore, there was a large variety of food but it was roughly the same selection each day.

There are also lots of different problems like the reception staff incorrectly informing us about times for when places shut and open on site and were rude and had a I don’t care attitude. Such as the minigolf saying it shuts at 11 and when we get there at 10:15 to play, they say it shut at 10. Also, they said the same thing for the breakfast in the morning on our last day saying it opens at 4 but when we got there at 7AM we had to wait 40mins for them to put the food out. In a different scenario, we then booked a taxi and when it didn’t come after 20mins after it was supposed to come, they said it may come or not. Instead of not caring, do your job properly and solve the problem. We ended up waiting an hour extra after it was supposed to come.

Another problem was the rooms. They were a 6/10 at best. The beds were like sleeping on concrete and the showers don’t have a shower mat and are very slippery which could lead to serious injury. Also, the cleaners were useless not washing the balcony, changing bed sheets, and didn’t give fresh towels. Furthermore, the rooms didn’t have full length mirrors so you didn’t know what you would look like before you go out.

Another problem was the broken fire alarm outside our room. At 4 o’clock, 6 o’clock in the morning and many times a day it repeatedly went off. They would say they would do something about it. However, they never did.

Another problem, was the price of the water park and classing a 13yr old as an adult! That’s ridiculous. If it’s “all inclusive”, then why not make the water park free as it’s only got 2 slides and the other one is for children under 5 max.

Now that’s out of the way, overall the pools were nice and the hotel itself is in a great area for going to various restaurants. Personally, I would recommend the kings head as it’s very warming and does karaoke 1-2 times a week and has a family environment.

The night-time entertainment at the hotel was really poor. However, the daytime entertainment is really good having sports available to play throughout the day and the animation team are very kind.

Superb Hotel

My Family and I arrived at the Protur Roqeutas Hotel & Spa on the 5th May 2022. We all found the Hotel clean and the staff very welcoming. The food in the restaurant was lovely, plenty of chose and high quality. The waiter service was excellent, nothing was to much trouble. All areas of the Hotel were immaculate. We didn’t want for anything. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. A special mention to the Manager of customer relations Juan, who would always seek you out and have a friendly chat and check everything was ok. He was very helpful with any request we had and nothing was too much trouble for him. We will definitely be going again next year.
Thank you to all the staff.

Disabled hotels that tick all the boxes

As a disabled person, trying to tick all the boxes when looking for a holiday, is never that easy, yet now I have found Protur hotels, I honestly found I found the a company that really understands, just how much reassurance disabled people need when looking for a holiday. We were lucky to book the Bonamar hotel July 17, and as a wheelchair user I had a fantastic two weeks as the hotels lifts to all floors and a lift down to the dining room, being a adult only help a great deal, as the there is no worry’s about being bumped, as falling over is a major concern.
I have just booked another two week in October this year and already received a phone from the Bonamar after I email them, such great customer service,
More information on the Protur Bonamar can be found on the TUI web site
