We came to Psymplicity as a family in crisis our son was really struggling and we needed help urgently! We were urged by our GP to get a private ADHD assessment done as NHS waiting times were over two years and we needed help for our son urgently as he approached GCSE years at school. We booked a zoom appointment with Doctor Choudhry and although I was skeptical about having an appointment on zoom it actually worked fine. They are very thorough and require lots of family history and school input. To give you some background on my son, up until half way through year 8 and beginning of year 9 our Son was doing very well but then things exploded and he began to struggle at school and was getting in a lot of trouble and couldn’t stay focused. With a child with ADHD they can mask their symptoms very well until the demands on them become so great that they begin to crack this is what was happening to our son, it was also becoming a problem at home.
We found it so reassuring to talk to Doctor Choudry about things as he assured us this is normal with a child with ADHD and gave us various options for the way to treat going forward. He wasn’t pushy and he wanted us to go away and think really carefully about how we went forward.
We decided to medicate our son (with his agreement as he so wanted to get back to being in full time school) so over the course of 6 months we worked closely with Dr Choudry to establish him on a therapeutic dose of medication. I honestly didn’t believe he would ever manage to be in full time school again but thankfully scince being on the medication he has stabilised at school and is doing very well. It’s not easy getting the medication to the right dose and you need to be prepared to be patient and work with your child and the clinic.
We are so thankful to Psymplicity for their care and help. We didn’t find they were pushing for money and just found at every step them to be so helpful and great communication through email if I ever had any problems.
Thankfully we have now managed to transfer back to the care of NHS we are sad to say goodbye to Psymplicity but so thankful we made this choice 8 months ago and took the plunge.

Good communication, prompt answers from the admin team. The Dr was very welcoming and offered me enough time. I felt listened and involved in my treatment.

Experience was non-threatening and patient led yet robust. Dealt with any ‘hiccups’ quickly and efficiently..

We were very fortunate to be put under the care of Dr Charis Pandis. My Son was diagnosed with ADHD after many years of frustration and hurt. My Son was medicated and had follow up appointments where we were given as much time as we needed to ensure everything was going well. Sadly NHS ADHD assessments were years away. Going private is a big step when funds are not as high as we would like but I have to say it was worth it and I would do it again without second thought. My Sons life has improved so much. Also the customer service team are second to none, so helpful and emails have a speedy reply Well done Psymplicity you are professional and outstanding.

Hi ,
There are many reasons that I have to give 5 stars or even 10 . But in summary I have never be so happy and pleased in the the manner I have been treated since my first appointment
Both Julie and Dr Bennasi deserve extra stars .
Kind Regards
Rory

So far I have dealt with the administrative team and they have been fabulous. Always reply to emails in a timely manner, they find out answers from other professionals and reply quickly as well. Straight forward, polite and factual information supplied at every step.
Above and beyond in my experience, making this whole process so much easier.

I can not recommend psymplicity enough to anyone considering a private assesment and diagnosis for ADHD. From the initial phonecall to shared care with my GP they have all been helpful and attentive. Dr Duffett and Penny have been there for me whenever I have needed them. I have had the most positive experience with psymplicity and the team.

Sought an ADHD assessment from them. Was diagnosed with ADHD then pushed incredibly hard to immediately agree to take medication. I resisted and they pushed harder and harder until I had to very firmly refuse. They are very clearly handing out diagnoses in order to try and force drugs on people. Avoid at all costs

Had an ADHD assessment through this company and needed to go elsewhere after as they were incompetent. Admin staff ignore emails too

I had a general psychiatric assessment which felt quite rushed.
I was advised I could choose between 3 different medication options, at which point I said I would need to go away and research them as I don’t have any knowledge of the medication offered to me.
After an hour of googling I emailed and requested a prescription, I was ignored. It has now been 2 and a half weeks and I am still trying to access medication, I am off work sick and won’t be well enough to return until I start the drugs. I have lost count of the amount of times I’ve tried to chase up medication on 2 email addresses, yet I’ve still had no acknowledgement or response.
I received a psychiatric report which included fabricated symptoms and my name is misspelled in a number of different ways throughout. When I responded I was basically told that I am the intended audience for the report so it doesn’t matter if it’s incorrect.
I’m so fed up of chasing medication from a company who clearly don’t care about their patients.
The service is expensive and due to the reasons highlighted above I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I can highly recommend Psymplicity if you are wanting to undergo an ADHD assessment. I had the privilege of speaking to Dr Mole who made me feel understood and supported throughout the session. I felt at ease speaking about my challenges, which I have been bottling up over quite some time. Dr Mole was very informative, and provided me with a clear route forward. Furthermore, the Psymplicity team are very quick to answer the phone, respond to emails and give you thorough guidance throughout the process. I look forward to continuing my journey with them!

Psymplicity is great to be with, and my Dr is efficient and is great to speak with 5/5 for their services! I've been with them since last year. But every time I've encountered the customer services mailbox, I get the exact opposite experience. Specifically, the admin mailbox is responded by several people every minute, who get your name wrong, as well as attempt to book appointments with the wrong doctor, send prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy and completely ignore your email and respond with a blunt message that completely disregard your email. For example, just today I told the mailbox team at 9 am today to reorder my supply of medicine following consultation as I am due to run out next week and need it to be sent today as I am really busy most of next week, long story short, I had to call the team at 4pm who said they said they should get the prescription out as soon as possible, and this was not the case. So now I will need to follow up next week to see where this is at and cancel some of my plans.
It would be great if this could be fed back as it really does 'eclipse' the amazing services provided by my psychiatrist.

Our experience with Psymplicity has been brilliant. Dr Choudhry is an exceptional doctor, he made my teenage son feel completely at ease, so he could talk freely and openly. And I feel that my son is in completely safe hands and is being very supported.
We've also been able to get appointments at short notice to discuss medication.

I sought a private diagnosis for ADHD as the NHS waiting list is ‘several years’ in my area. The Psymplicity team were very professional and Dr Walsh was excellent. The diagnosis process was well explained, it was carried out via Zoom but I didn’t feel like face to face would have been better. Everything was explained clearly, the process for diagnosis was thorough and the titration and aftercare was very good. I am now receiving medication (shared care with my GP) and I am so much happier. Psymplicity are very good and I have recommended them to friends who have also had a positive experience.

Appalling organisation. Was sent an expensive, rushed, inaccurate and exaggerated assessement report - barely worthy of the term rough draft - for my eight year old child with suspected ADHD, with which the Dr had blithely disagnosed him TO HIS FACE at the end of the initial meeting: the fallout from which my wife and I are still navigating at home. Online meetings only, because it costs them less. No in-person engagement. At the follow up meeting, the Dr's pen was itching to draft a proscription for medication within seconds of it starting. Totally lacking in professional duty of care to parents and children alike. Only interested in charging anxious and uncertain people through the nose for assessments and then stringing them along with follow up meeting after follow meeting to proscribe drugs at an eye watering rate. I am beside myself with anger at how my wife and son have been treated by this dishonest, unprofessional outfit which is preying on anxious parents and unhappy children with the express intention of medicating them to make money. Utterly, utterly disgraceful. DO NOT THINK OF HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I feel so very fortunate to have had Dr Thomas allocated to me, from the very start he made me feel at ease, we get on very well and he has made the whole process so much easier than I had anticipated. When I’ve reached out with problems he has been the calm, professional voice to help rectify. I can’t fault the whole admin team however I especially need to mention Heather Dr Thomas’s secretary she has gone above and beyond and I really respect and admire how she has dealt with me and my whole process and can’t thank enough. I would recommend this company to anyone in doubt, it has been a life changing experience made by the incredible individuals that work at Psymplicity.

Dr Beider has helped me get well on more than one occasion when I have had depressive episodes. His kind manner and person centred approach makes the world of difference when being treated for depression. It’s a difficult illness and kindness is essential. The admin team were absolutely superb, getting back to me quite quickly with any queries I may have had. Again, always with kindness. I have also found Dr Thomas to have the same qualities as Dr Beider and the wonderful admin team. Thank you, I am very grateful.
