Good Location, Poor Hygiene
The Camden branch in London has a good location, but the toilets are always very dirty and not cleaned properly.

Friendly gym
It's a well run gym with members quietly getting on with their workout. The only issue can be finding a free locker as many seem to be permanently locked.

Good value for money

Good experience but pity about the rough sleepers on the stairs. Although they seem harmless enough.

Join Camden Pure and feel fantastic
I´ve given Pure the top score of 10 for the empowering, enlivening, exciting, emotionally fulfilling excercise classes, full aray of machines, clean changing room & showers, and incredibly friendly & helpfull staff. I´d recommend the Camden Pure gym to all, and already have/do.

Get more protectors for the bars
Please get more protectors for the bars, I can’t do my workout properly without them. There never seems to be any available/they seem to be missing all the time. It’s a very standard piece of equipment the gym should be providing.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken or replaced if missing in club.

Great value for money
Great value for money!
Decent facilities, the gym equipment makes good use of the building space, it wasn’t crowded and my session went well. I’d say it makes a great emergency gym or second gym.

Today was great
Today was great, always prefer training at the gym when Daniel is working on shift as know it will be clean (unlike on other days). Would be great if this could be done by other trainers on other days too!!

Process was very simple
Process was very simple, everything was laid out clearly and I was able to quickly find the membership I wanted. I got the 7 day pass, and I specifically liked that they were clear about the fact that the days are consecutive, rather than hiding this in small print somewhere. The instructions were also very clear on how to get into the gym.

Unhygienic and unsafe.
Pure gym CAMDEN Unhygienic and unsafe.
I am writing this to express my deep concern regarding the persistent unhygienic and unsafe conditions at camden pure gym For quite some time now, the gym has been plagued by an overwhelming odor of urine and poo noticeable upon entry. It is incredibly disheartening to find that the lift and surrounding areas are frequently soiled with urine.
Additionally, I have noticed a disturbing increase in drug users loitering and even sleeping on the premises daily. Drug paraphernalia is often found on the stairs, and drug dealers are frequently standing by the main entrance in the evenings. These issues not only make for an unpleasant environment but also raise significant safety concerns for members.
It is clear that these problems are ongoing, yet there seems to be little action taken by PureGym’s head office. It feels as though the priority is solely on collecting monthly memberships, with no regard for the safety, cleanliness, or overall experience of its members.
I strongly urge you to address these issues immediately for the well-being of all members and to restore a safe and healthy environment in the gym. I hope to see swift action on this matter.

As an online company, we don't have receptions. However, we have the cylinder POD doors that act as both an entrance and security system. The POD doors monitor entrance with individual 8 digit code.
As well as this, we have staff monitoring the gym, as well as a 24/7 CCTV team.
If there are individual instances you are aware where security has been breached or any concerns please raise with the Gym Manager (alongside dates/times) so this can be fully investigated. Thanks, PureGym

Manager Anthony was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make me and my daughter feel comfortable and welcome. The other employee that had excellent customer service was Daniel who offers us a free class and personal training. The music was great and we loved the variety is equipment. Confusing entry and abundance of equipment
I enjoyed the abundance of equipment. The entry was confusing as after standing in the "lobby" to apply for a day pass on my phone only the double circle doors allow entry to day pass members. It would be nice if there was someone there to help sign you up and take payment instead of waiting 7 minutes for an emailed code. Also noone else wipes down their machines nor puts their weights back which is disgusting and annoying. No fault of the gym really, just the people that go there.

It is in the gym rules that members should wipe down all kit after use and return their own weights which would risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this.
