There are no tissues at all in the gym.No action was taken in spite of repeated attempts to email the team. No tissues since my joining in September 2025
Without tissues or disinfectant wipes, it becomes difficult to clean the machines before and after use, which raises hygiene concerns and increases the risk of spreading viral infections.

Following the closure period in 2020 due to the National Lockdown, we introduced cleaning stations into our gyms in line with health and safety government guidelines. As time has gone on, we have gradually removed these cleaning stations and in our newer gyms they have not been implemented, helping to support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We continue to ask, as we always have, that members bring with them a towel with them to wipe kit before and after use and where possible, the team will remind members of this. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club. We fully understand the importance of cleanliness and will be dealt with. Thanks, PureGym

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that all facilities are within working order. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment restored as soon as possible. Rude, Unprofessional, and Unnecessary Confrontation
I'm writing this as a loyal PureGym member of several years, and I am still reeling from an experience I had this morning. I was mid-set on the SkiErg when a staff member approached and asked if I was still using it. Despite my hands being on the handles and replying "yes," I was told, "Well, you have to get off, I have a class now."
I was taken aback by his abruptness. I asked if I could please just finish my set, and he refused. I then offered to share the machine, as is commonly encouraged at PureGym, and was again flatly told "no." All of this was done in a loud and rude manner, leaving me feeling embarrassed and confused in front of a busy gym.
To make matters worse, he wasn't even prepared to start his class. While I was speaking to another, more helpful, staff member about my upset, he was still in the process of setting up. He could have easily allowed me the 2 MINUTES I needed to finish my set. The other staff member was very sympathetic and agreed his approach was poor.
I do not expect to be spoken to so rudely. This incident was completely unnecessary, soured my entire morning, and reflects very poorly on the standards at PureGym. Better staff training on basic communication and customer respect is clearly needed and a review of whether you have enough high-demand equipment for your members.

Gym for anytime
Good atmosphere, open 24 hours,plenty of equipment,excellent choice of different classes( although i haven't attended any)been a member since March 24 absolutely recommed it. I didn't give 5 star sometime i felt inadequate human interaction lacks customer service experience. Overall work for me so fab👍👍

We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar with the layout of the gym and understand how to use the facilities provided. Often during unstaffed hours like the changing rooms a PIN entry is required for example. Inductions are usually placed on the class time table.
You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time. Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. Thanks, PureGym.

Equipment
The gym needs more hammer strength machine, they only have 1 for upper chest, and 1 for lateral row. They have a calves machine that you have to stand like your in a hack squat machine, it's not as good as a seated one which they don't have.

I was learning a new exercise and staff mocked and mimicked me, instead of minding their own business - it was a degrading experience. I hope in future the staff there can be more mature

Need to book popular, particular morning classes in advance, as get fully booked quickly. Would hope that no shows are monitored & dealt with, as can be frustrating when classes fully booked, but often a space.
