Website needs looking into

I have just placed sample orders as we are trying to find our wedding invitations and oh my goodness is their website awful! It is INCREDIBLY slow, it took me 50 minutes to order 8 samples! 50 minutes! I almost gave up because the website is that bad. They seriously need to hire someone else to manage their website because who ever has set it up, they are losing you money. You advertise everything to do with weddings and you are making it virtually impossible to order anything from you! To top it off, you can't even look at the different colours advertised so you have to hope that the colours you have picked on your samples, one of them will come out as advertised online. Plus, every time you change options at checkout, it deletes your entire personal information entered and you have start all over again.

Superb service and beautiful designs

I purchased my wedding invitations from pure invitations, complex 2 different invitations with laser cut holder with 3 inserts each for both sides of the wedding party as well as an evening invitation. I also added QR codes and made numerous amendments. So essentially about 10 separate custom items to create these invitations.
They look really good and the level of service/support I have been given has been exceptional.
I can't fault this company at all - Thank you Sarah for all your help and patience with me.

PURE INCONVENIENCE

PURE INCONVENIENCE. We have placed two orders from Pure Invitation for our wedding stationary, and both have had very obvious errors that are clearly down to sloppiness on their end. The wrong envelope size was sent, then everything was damaged and the print was misaligned.

First of all they seemed quite helpful in sorting it out as quick as possible, even offering to assemble everything for us to make up for the delay this had incurred. Then they very quickly changed their minds, refused to assemble and include envelopes and dispatched the order before we could reply or approve anything and try to find a compromise with them.

They accused me of being wasteful for wanting ready assembled envelopes to make up for the time we lost with all these mistakes. I would say its wasteful to send the wrong envelopes, package and send faulty products, plus envelopes when we said we already had the ones that were sent in error. Not to mention all the time of mind they have wasted.

They also accused me of missing an error on the proof, even though it wasn't on the proof because it was to do with the alignment of the print, not the design. Yet still they argued this. They also said they would refund us for stamps we had fixed to the faulty stuff and I had to chase this up because they didn't send the refund as promised.

The owner was very rude and petty via email and flat out refused to empathise with how their mistakes have set us back or try and redeem this by following through on their offer to assemble our stationary. Now we feel very stressed and short on time to assemble all of this delayed stationary, not to mention the time they have wasted with their discourteous emails, highlighting trivial issues instead of trying to redeem themselves.

It's a real shame because other than this, planning a wedding has been entirely stress free. It's always interesting to see how a company redeems their own mistakes to appease unhappy customers and avoid negative reviews, and unfortunately, this company are severely lacking in that area, so future potential customers deserve to know the truth and hopefully avoid the same issues by simply going elsewhere.

As a caring business operating since 2006, our reviews on Google, our website and Facebook will testify to this. As a small business that strives for excellence and positive customer reviews, I feel it important to share some facts.

Upon the customer receiving the damaged product, it left us in perfect condition and the damage happened in transit, an emailed complaint was sent over the weekend. This was then followed up with a further complaint about alignment on the invitations. First thing on Monday morning, myself - the owner, spoke to the customer apologising profusely, and reassuring we would replace all items. Also offering to make the invitations to save her time as the DIY option had been chosen.

It was decided by the customer that she didn’t like the colour of one of the items, this was also amended as part of the replacements.

At this point, the customer informed us stamps had been affixed to all RSVP cards that were subsequently deemed to be unsatisfactory, costing £40, a refund was immediately offered for those stamps. No comment was made about other stamps on envelopes. Later, as this customer escalated in demands, it was noted that the difference in the alignment was 2mm from the agreed proof, which many would argue is within tolerance of production.

The envelope size was correct for this order and the address labels were fine, however, the liners had been damaged in transit. We were asked to replace the envelopes and send them made with liners and address labels reprinted and added, again we agreed without question.

Edit: Envelope assembly was not mentioned by myself as there wasn’t an issue with the main envelope but was later clarified via email as the expectation by the customer.

Whilst working on remaking the order, the customer chased the refund for the stamps which was being done that day (day 3) at this point she told us that the stamps had been affixed to her correctly sized postal envelopes and demanded a further £40 to be refunded.

This is where we drew the line, whilst not being rude but simply not agreeing with an unfair demand. The customer would not compromise over this, instead threatening a negative review. As there were perfect envelopes, with stamps, we replaced the liners. When this was not acceptable, we offered for the stamped envelopes to be returned so we could add the liners and address labels, she refused.

All replacement items were sent within three days. A full refund has also been offered for the items to be returned.

Affordable but beautiful invitations

We purchased our wedding invitations from PureInvitaton after finding them on Etsy. The process was smooth and clear, and we opted to upgrade our shipping option so we could receive our invites sooner.
The communication was great throughout the design and dispatch process and my invitations reached us in New Zealand within a few days. I'm super happy with the quality of the cards as well as the free envelopes. I also appreciated the extra set of cards to be used for photos. I'd definitely recommend Pureinvitation for affordable yet stunning wedding invitations!

Such a lovely invitations

Absolutely love our invitations. The whole purchase was so easy and we got them after week or two. It came so nicely packed and even got an extra one for us to keep. There was a minor issue with the print being covered slightly by the design, but two days after emailing pure invitations, I’ve got them all corrected. I can only recommend, it’s worth every penny. Thank you very much for our lovely invitations!

Beautiful invitations

Ordering from Pure invitations was so easy and the customer service is second to none.
I ordered our invitations back in July. However, as we have been out of the country, we only picked them up today.
All I can say is, beautiful.
They are more than we could hope for.
Thank you so much for the fantastic service.
I’m one very happy bride to be!!

Good quality but same mistake made twice

So I discovered pure invitation via Etsy, I found they were the most reasonable priced for the style of invite I wanted. Lots of choices available especially in colour. Quality is good but not outstanding. Unfortunately the downfall for me was that they had sent me the proof, which I then asked for a few changes, they then sent me the final proof in which I confirmed but for some reason I was sent the first proof. So of
Course I contacted them so that the issue could be resolved, as annoying as it was were all human and do make mistakes however they resent the wrong ones out again despite me sending the screenshot of what they should say, it’s because an old file was kept. You would think after one mishap they would take extra precaution to ensure the same mistake doesn’t happen again but obviously not. Unfortunately I won’t be using again as I’ve lost trust in the company and I’ll happily tell my wedding guests about what has happened with the invites.

The website is confusing to use and as…

The website is confusing to use and as we were not sure we had ordered correctly we sent a couple of emails which were not replied to until I then rang. The first proof had a lot of errors so check them carefully. We went for the DIY invites which are very fiddly, time consuming and we ran out of materials and had to buy more so if you can stretch to ready made then do so. The invites were good once completed but as we also used another company for the evening invites we found the other company to be so more helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Pure Invitation have been amazing

Pure Invitation have been amazing! We bought our wedding stationary from here and each time we have ordered it has been quick and simple with fast delivery. The quality of my wedding invitations were amazing, had lots of comments on how good they looked! I am currently waiting for my table plan from them and I am really looking forward to seeing it finished.
