I feel that Pyramyd Air is a top notch 5-star company, but even 5-star companies sometimes fail to live up to 5-star performance. My latest experience, although uncommon did not go well. I had an air rifle in for an air leak. I was told it would be 3-6 weeks. After 7 weeks I sent an email asking for an update. Two business days later I received a reply that "parts" were delayed. The next day I received an email "good news the parts are here". The next day I received a call that the repair had been completed. The rifle was shipped back to me in a timely fashion. But when I was sighting in my scope, after 15 or so shots, I started feeling puffs of air to my aiming eye. Then a hissing noise. Yep, the rifle was leaking again. I contacted Tech support 2 business days ago and again yesterday. No response yet.
On the other hand, I recently placed an order for pellets but forgot to use my “Bullseye Bucks”. Within 5 minutes, on a chat, my order was updated to reflect the discount and, while still on the chat, I received an email for the order with the Bucks applied. Now that is 5-star performance by Customer Service.

I pre-ordered an Air Venturi MicroStrike PCP Air Pistol, Caliber - .25 (6.35mm) in early October and received it in early November.

It was unexpected and I was very pleased to get the gun so quickly given its pre-order status with an unknown restocking date when I bought it.

The carbine was packaged well and was in perfect condition when it arrived.

One thing to note: a 24h pressure test for the gun was requested at purchase, which P.A. tested at 3500 PSI instead of its nominal 4350 PSI. This is not a big deal since the gun holds pressure fine, but such pressure tests should be done at the maximum pressure allowed by the manufacturer.

I added a compact 3-9x40 scope to the gun and added a DonnyFL KOI moderator. A quick 6 shot group test showed that the gun is perfectly accurate at 15 yards using AEA .25 Cal. 33.9 gr pellets that I had on hand.

The moment I picked up the UPS box I heard something rattling inside. It was the capsule screw loose inside the co2 chamber. I also noticed a small piece of hard red material imbedded in the top of the co2 chamber that may impede the capsule from seating properly. I removed it....seemed like a piece of red paint. When I attempted to open the slide to install a clip, I discovered the slide release lever would not function which made the pistol unusable. I was unable to find a phone number to contact Pyramid and went to the website to make contact with one of the assistants who helped me obtain return authorization. I am disabled and this means packing this up and traveling to a UPS pickup site. Very inconvenient and very disappointing.

The barrel kit was packaged in a thin cardboard box that was too short for the barrel. The barrel is about 4 inches longer than the box's diagonal length. It appeared the barrel was jammed into the box by stretching it diagonally. During the transport, the barrel poked through the box. This could compromise the barrel's accuracy. The barrel bag was also torn. The probe was missing.

Easy ordering, fast shipping. Can't ask for much more.

I had a problem with an Air Arms TX200 that had a cocking swivel pivot break when it newly arrived. It took a long time to obtain a replacement, but Pyramyd Air kept me well informed & the delay was certain understandable. The only negative was the I twice asked for the original box to be shipped to me also (I would pay the shipping) because the rifle was to be delivered with scope in a purchased rifle case. I called immediately after receiving the rifle and was told that the box was thrown away. In summary, I received very good service with one small exception.

I like the ease of loading the magazine into the pistol.
wish that the 10th.blank pellet spot would be
brightly colored so that we can easily follow the number of shots fired.
I needed to order replace the previous one of two its clear plastic cover separated / broke in half at what appears to be the seem that goes through its center.
