Wish I’d read these reviews before purchasing. I ordered hundreds of dollars of Alchemy Jewellery and never got a confirmation email that itemised what I’d purchased. Safe to say that after several months of chasing up where my parcel was I’d forgotten exactly which pieces that I had ordered. When it did finally arrive what was there didn’t add up to what I’d spent, significantly less. And the items I received were ugly, no way would I have purchased them. But without the confirmation email I had no proof that I had received the wrong items so I just had to suck it up. Hey, at least I made a donation to the animals I suppose!
Same problem as the others. Ordered a watch on the 16th February, it still has not arrived, on the 27 April. Emailed them a month later, decent reply but saying that they still hadn't received it from the supplier, asking if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I asked for a refund and the issue has now been resolved.
Parroting other reviewers - how I wish I'd read the reviews before making a purchase! Ordered 7th Sept, now 24th Oct and nothing received. Have requested a refund - we'll see how that goes! UPDATE: Received the top on 26th Oct with a lovely note - nice top, shame that it took so long!
The order came up with a problem as the item came very late comparing to usual dispatch, though the weather had a bit of effort into that as well. When parcel hasn't been delivered on time, I emailed the customer service which replied every in decent time and was kept on updates regarding to the package. I was offered with refund or wait for parcel to come at some point. Considering the problem with late delivery item was sent with 1st class Royal Mail and finally came up without any other problems. Review probably would be with less stars if it's not because great communication and replying in decent time in my experience.
So I made the mistake of attempting to do business with this company without reading reviews. Please do yourself a favor if you're reading this and shop elsewhere. You will save yourself a lot of headach. I tried to buy a wallet and take advantage of their free worldwide shipping. I figured since I do in fact live in the world that I qualified seeing how there was no fine print on the page I was ordering off of or anywhere thru the checkout process. International orders take 28 days to process. Paid with PayPal (thank God) I waited over 30 days and shot them an email because I hadn't heard anything from them other than my initial order confirmation and my PayPal confirmation saying they happily took my money. A couple of days later, I got a response saying they were still waiting for me to make my shipping decision. I thought this was weird since I had the free shipping, so I reminded them of this. Nope. This is where my shake down began. You see, I could either pay an additional 50-70 pounds to have my item shipped. But they informed me it was in stock and ready to go if I would just fork over the cash. In their unprofessional emails, they always mention being a nonprofit and thank you for helping the animals while giving you the run around and not actually doing anything concrete to help you. I just know that over the next six weeks of me trying to be patient and receive item or my money back, I was scolded for not reading their frequently asked questions page (where their shipping fine print is listed). I was thanked for my interest in donating to their cause (This personally made me feel like they were hoping I would just give up in my quest to receive my item as advertised ). Each of the slowly returned emails had an extremely unprofessional tone. They tried to make it personal by accusing me of bringing their customer service reps to tears pointing out the flaws in their entire business practice (honestly after what they put me thru, I wish that were possible.).

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this company. This was the absolute worst online shopping experience of my entire life. Thank goodness for PayPal!!! There is no doubt in my mind I would still be fruitlessly emailing back and forth trying to get a refund if it weren’t for using them as a third party.
Item was listed as in stock but after waiting 28 days I emailed and they said they were waiting on suppliers sending it. I wanted to cancel and the process involved a ridiculous amount of emails back and forth. No customer service phone number so had to email. Told me my refund would be back to PayPal within 14 WORKING days. Waited that long and when no refund appeared I emailed but they weren’t replying anymore.
I contacted PayPal and raised a claim. The money was transferred to PayPal the next day. I still have to wait a couple of days for the payment to clear but it is in my account and is pending. My advice is, if you paid via PayPal or credit card, raise a claim through them.
I live an hour away from their listed business address so was very close to jumping on a train and going to their door.
I placed an order on 25 November 2016 and it sat at "processing" for a month. After many emails back & forth and finally opening a Paypal case I was issued a full refund but still was never given an actual shipping date. I just kept getting told it will be shipped within the time-frame.
I do not recommend this site to anyone who actually wants to receive their items - it seems more like you are making a donation to them instead of actually buying products.
After 3 weeks of waiting for a baby grow, I received an item that I did not order and do not want.
I have contacted Pyretta's Lair several times and each time receive an automated response to inform they will be in contact within 24-48 hours, except they don't always reply within that timescale. There is no other way of contacting them. Of course they took payment straight away.
I can see from the amount of negative reviews that I'm not the only one to have had a bad experience with Pyretta's Lair. I just wish I'd read the reviews before ordering!
How i wish i had thought to check reviews before placing my order. But i consider myself lucky because the item i never received was less than £20.
As other reviews have reported, you order and then wait nearly a month for the hope of a parcel after parting with your hard earned cash. No parcel arrives and so begins the endless stream of emails. Then you have to chase a response. Then you are asked to make sure its not at your delivery office. Weeks of emails -absolute nightmare. Last email wanted all my personal details before a refund could be agreed. Give me a break. My money-immediate refund. But they dont work like that.
A refund was only issued to me after i posted this review.
They claim they refunded me within 24 hours. It took a month and I have provided evidence to Trustpilot.
Please avoid.

Placed an order on 28th November, for a t-shirt, which was to be a Christmas present. As Christmas approaches, I realise it hasn't been received, and it's then I realise that their website states goods will be despatched within 28 days. I email for a delivery update, and pyrettas lair advise that it is being despatched on 23rd December. The goods haven't arrived 2 weeks later, so I email again, and I am advised to please allow 15 working days for delivery - which is quite a long time given the bank holidays and weekends over Christmas and new year. Mid January, I contact them again, and I am asked to check with the post office that there isn't a parcel there waiting for me, I email again to advise there is no parcel waiting for me. Pyretta ask would I like a refund or a replacement, I question how long the replacement will take, and I am told delivery will be within 14 days. I opt for replacement. 16 days later, - still no t shirt has arrived. I've emailed again, requesting a refund. Given that every email I send generates a response within 48 hours, communication could be better from the company. I've ended up raising a transaction dispute with my bank, rather than rely on this company to send me either goods or a refund. I gave them the benefit of doubt, I have been more than patient. It's been 11 weeks since I placed the order. I wouldn't recommend this company.
I ordered a t shirt from Pyretta's Lair in November, 2015. It is now the end of January 2016 and I have received nothing but a load of tedious back and forth emails (somewhere around 16 at this point) and still have no t shirt and have not been refunded my money. I've filed a pay pal dispute against the site, as dealing with whomever is replying to my emails is utterly useless. I've never experienced this level of incompetence with an online seller before, ever. I caution everyone to avoid this site after my very poor experience.
As an update, a week after I wrote the first part of this review, I am STILL receiving very unprofessional emails from Pyretta's Lair, claiming they know nothing of the poor reviews of their so-called business, despite having reported this very review because they supposedly have no record of me being a customer. This is ludicrous, as I am still receiving these crazy emails from Pyretta's Lair in regards to my order that they never completed, and have yet to receive a refund for. Just avoid this business at all costs.
Update 2: Pyretta's Lair continues to report this review, this time for "coarse language" and asking me to update to reflect that I was refunded. I was refunded because I went through the PayPal dispute process. PayPal is the best service to use whenever shopping online as they will refund your money if you shop with a business who attempts to rip you off. Thank goodness for Pay Pal. And I will never shop with Pyretta's Lair again, just to be clear, and would still recommend anyone/everyone avoids this site like the plague.
Ordered a jacket at the beginning of June and kinda forgot about it for a while. Once I realised time was getting on I referred back to the site to find out delivery times etc. It wasn't quite the 28 days so I waited for that to pass before I emailed.
I enquired about my order and got the standard 'we will respond within 24hrs' email back. As promised, I got a response back but it said my email was blank (a little odd I thought) so I re-sent it.
I got a response 48 hrs later to say that I had provided the wrong order number. At this point I had read the previous reviews and was starting to get a little worried. I voiced my concerns in my reply email and gave them a deadline to update me on my order.
To be fair, they stuck to my deadline but told me I had been sent an email to say my item was out of stock not long after I had placed the order. I hadn't received said email. I always check my junk mail for stuff like this so again was sceptical that it was sent. I was also told that the item would be back in stock that day or Monday and it would be sent straight away.
I have received my jacket today as promised.
Basically what I'm trying to say is, I gave them a chance to sort out my issue by being firm but fair and they resolved it as soon as they could.
The item was great and a bargain price too.
I would use this site again if the need arose.

I haven't received any items from this shop. My order date was 29 august 2012. Now we are in January 2013, and after all my complains, a paypal gift has been received as refund.
After numerous emails and complains, we finally received the products - which were 1) wrong size 2) wrong color and style 3) used looking, without tags -- plus one item was missing from the order.
Avoid, unless you want to give your money to "charity".

Received a t-shirt which wasn't the one I ordered so returned it. They say they haven't received it even though I had a certificate of posting. Have researched their returns address to find it's a private mail box which I find suspicious. Needless to say I am still waiting for my refund.
Terrible service, never received my goods and they charged my card 3 months ago and now are just not even answering my emails at all. I have had to call my credit card to dispute the charge. When I purchased I received an email saying it would be shipped 28 days after payment, that is unheard of! I wanted the shoes for a special occassion which has since come and gone. Now I am out of pocket for the money, dont have the shoes and have had to waste time sending countless emails to no avail. Avoid at all costs!!!
