dishonest business
dishonest business, waiting for people's mistakes to profit.
Their website says:
"When does it make sense to complain?
Do you already know that you have received a control fee because of a mistake you made when you parked the car? In that case there is unfortunately no point in complaining. We cannot cancel control fees that have been issued correctly."
Not all mistakes are the same. There is a massive ethical difference between someone trying to park for free and someone who paid for a session in a zone just meters away. To suggest there is 'no point' in appealing a good-faith technical error shows this company values predatory profit over basic customer service and common sense.
Good customer Service
Good customer Service, very Polite and active. Also on sundays!!

It is the biggest scam in whole…
It is the biggest scam in whole Denmark, they have written a fine of 945 Dkk because a side of the car was a few cm off the line since the parking bays are too tiny and car would not fit. This all happened whilst parking was well paid for the car and there is no any cars around. Fck you and your disgusting scam.
ridiculos greed
120€ fine for parking -slighlty- outside the lines is just ridiculous. How is this allowed?
Avoid.
2x parking fine
Got fined as i didnt know the parking rules had changed. Fair,- my bad i pay my fine, then in January I get a "reminder" on a second fine for the same parking. In the message it states if the fine was payed after a certain date of the month to just ignore it, so assuming that its an error I ignore it. Upon receiving a second "reminder" I call, and am informed that its two separate parking violations. I then request proof of the parking violations, and here we are two months later with still no information from Q-park, and continued "reminders" with late fees stacking up.
I have had several issues with Q-park over the years with increasingly ridiculous reasons for the violations. I have recieved a fine because my parking clock didnt have a small line indicating 15min intervals, when it was perfectly readable that it was in between two 30 min markers very sufficiently spaced apart and very clearly indicating that it was meant as a 15 min seperation. Mind you I was well within the limit of allowed parking, I was simply fined because my very clear parking clock was not accurate enough, even if I had two hours still remaining in the parking zone, and there was no doubt that i was legally allowed to still be there. It just shows how they misunderstand their function.

Ridiculous parking fines ⚠️..................
You WILL be fined of at least £110 for not parking centrally over the box that is smaller than an average medium sized car, let alone something large!!!!
This company is out to fill their pockets with your money for a minor infringement. I have no doubt the response from Q -park will advise to call their customer dis-service centre. A absolute disgrace to charge such a high fine. You'll also see that the parking fine/ticket is very small and you may not even notice it. This could be in the hope that you dont see it so Q-park can charge more for a late payment.
Never again will i use Q-park. I'd rather park outside the city and walk into the centre in a blizzard.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️
Q-Park are modern day thieves.
Incident on 5th of March 2026
Incident on 5th of March 2026, around 16:55, Jenny Kammersgaards Vej , Horsens
As soon as I parked my car, I could see in the mirror of my car that a Q-Park parking attendant started taking pictures of my car(while I was visibly still inside my car). Of course I drove off as soon as I saw that, and I asked him "can't you see I am inside the car, I just got here". His answer was, word-by-word : "I don't give a sh*t, read the sign".
How is one expected to read any sign, which are on purpose made with the smallest font possible, while still inside the car - the guy started taking pictures of my car the second I finished parking, with me inside the car! Also, his attitude and language, absolutely unprofessional.
If you want customers to stop driving to your business, for sure Q-Park would be the parking company I would chose
Avoid this parking trap
The parking system at Magasin Lyngby is a disaster. I spent almost five minutes trying to get their non-functional systems (EasyPark and cameras) to work, only to be hit with a 940 Kr. fine for my trouble. It’s absolute highway robbery to penalize customers when your own payment infrastructure is broken. Save your money and park elsewhere.
No nice people
After a short visit to McDonald’s at DTC Vejle, we received 14 (!) months later a substantial payment demand (190,43 €) for an alleged parking violation (supposedly no or unreadable parking disc). The claim originated from Q-Park Operations Denmark A/S and was pursued in Germany through Collectia GmbH.
We never received a prior direct notice from the parking operator, only a significantly increased demand including additional fees via a foreign debt collection agency.
The amount claimed appears highly disproportionate to the alleged violation. Visitors should be extremely cautious, carefully check signage, correctly display a parking disc, and ideally document everything with photos. Enforcement seems to be strict and cross-border.
Exceptional quick response and helpful

No proof, high fine, and a broken complaint system!
No proof, high fine, and a broken complaint system!
I received a parking charge of 915 DKK based on a control window of just a few minutes. There is no evidence of when the parking actually started, yet a parking duration of more than two hours was simply assumed using a fixed, non-adjusted parking disc.
No proof, no follow-up check — just an expensive conclusion.
Trying to dispute the charge is equally impressive: the online complaint form repeatedly fails with a technical error, and complaints by post are no longer accepted. So the appeal process exists, but mostly in theory. Nobody ever succeded.
Charging people without proving a violation while making complaints practically impossible is an interesting business model.
Not one I would recommend experiencing firsthand.

Just paid 123 euro fine for nothing
Just paid 123 euro fine for nothing. we parked in Odense in the middle of the night on an open air parking place. the vending machine was only in Danish. It turned out the next mornig I made a mistake while paying and only paid 1 hour: 895DK fine, for a 100DK parking ticket that went wrong. What started was obscene, I complaint, but never once did they look at my argument, a legal proces started, threads, all over the place.etc. What a junk organisation q-park is.
