MY POOR TREATMENT BY QUBESTOR.
MY POOR TREATMENT BY QUBESTOR.
My experience with qubestore started off well enough a couple of days ago when I called to see if I could pick up two upright supports for the beams that I already had possession of.
I was told that an appointment system was in place but because of work commitments I couldn't specify the exact time I could arrive at the warehouse near Tipton but was told to come on Monday as there were going to be some 'lads' in the warehouse to assist me. I asked what time the business closed and was given two different times, namely 4:30pm by one person and then 5:30pm by another person that sounded like the company receptionist.
Monday the 14th of October was where things started to go downhill.
I arrived at the warehouse in a hired van to pick up the uprights I discussed with a member of staff only a couple of days before, only to find the warehouse unoccupied. I called the number on the website to be told by who I assumed to be the receptionist that they would contact the warehouse staff who would assist me. I did emphasise that I didn't have an appointment but that I was advised to come on Monday (yesterday) anyway.
I sat outside in the van for over an hour as I didn’t want to go back empty handed, but no-one arrived. I called back a total of four times to be told that an urgent message would be sent to the warehouse staff to let them know I was there but still, no-one came. I was not called once to be updated on the situation even though I was told that I would be contacted. It never happened! I was fobbed off with promises to contact warehouse staff, where were they? It wasn’t 4:30 yet.
I had to keep calling back. In fact it ended up with the receptionist hanging up the phone on me even though I was neither rude nor abusive, but just wanted assistance.
If this is the way members of the public are treated by one or two qubestore staff then it doesn't bode well for the company’s reputation in the future.
This very poor treatment. My time and money was wasted thanks to these people and I am still without the upright frames that I need.
Qubestor you have failed dismally despite my efforts to get help and assistance. It says on your website "With over 20 years' experience we can help you to achieve the best storage results!” Well, I got no such thing, the only result I got was to be left outside the warehouse with no-one bothering to serve me.
I’m assuming the next company I contact will be more helpful than Qubestor have been.

My response to the qubestor owners' post
A strange thing happened this morning… I actually received a call from a qubestore staff member. He proceeded to tell me among other things that my behaviour was unreasonable, and that if I didn’t change my previous post, that there would be ‘consequences’.
Now to me, that sounds like a threat.
There was nothing that I said in my previous post that wasn’t true. I was told that there would be lads in the warehouse on Monday so why not tell me that there is a likelyhood that there would be no-one there in which case I would have called before travelling. I had no reason to believe that there would be no-one at the premises.
It would have been nice if I got a phone call telling me that they disagreed with my post and wanted to know if they could do anything to put things right, I would have been willing to comply with qubestor in order to gain a satisfactory resolution, but instead petrol was poured onto the fire instead of trying de-escalate the issue.
Not good!
