Best exam tool for A-levels

Quislet is by far the best website i have ever used to study. As a raging dyslexic going through A-levels and aiming to get A*'s or A's, Quislet has been my rock throughout the process. It can be on my phone, and laptop, and has a variety of different study experiences to help me learn in the most effective way possible. I will continue using the platform into my Uni experience.

I've been trying to escape this company for many years - have just come off the phone with my bank again. I subscribed for one year in 2018. Cancelled and blocked them and now they're back. Don't give them your card details.

Used to be good 6 years ago when you could make flash cards and study them easily. Now a days firstly they don't make you study them both ways. tell you you know them when you don't. They make you pay for their services which have become worse and overall they became so much worse!
Would give 0 if I could

I have used Quizlet for over a year…

I have used Quizlet for over a year now. If you can choose another flashcard making service do it.

I have written to Quizlet and also Quizlet programmers on Github. Their Audio playback for cards is broken, they will send you emails saying it is to do with your browser and after following all the suggested steps the problem will still be the same. They ignore the written words in email form and need a staff overhaul. Save yourself valuable study time and choose another company that helps people.

Can never cancel even if you don't have an account!!!!

I do not have any records of joining Quizlet, do not have an account, and they are charging my credit card. I tried to log in to cancel a subscription, but have no login details. I emailed them to stop billing me but they did not respond. Since I have been charged again, I closed my bank account to stop this "company" from charging me.

Absolutely horrible and the devs/execs at the company should be ashamed of themselves

I used Quizlet for the bulk of my Spanish studying during high school, primarily using the site--particularly the Learn feature to customize and review advanced material that otherwise other sites wouldn't measure up to--as much as I hesitate to blame it on the economic system of capitalism or even pure greed, I side with the prevailing assessment that pay walling previously-free and vital feature is a terrible move and one that fully deserves condemnation. The executives at the site should be ashamed of themselves for implementing these changes when there are a multitude of other alternatives to further monetize their brand that do not impact the end user---the student.

Disappointing

Disappointing. I am a language teacher and paying Quizlet user since 2012. I enjoyed every improvement and was able to pass it on to my students until 2021/2022, when great features (like writing exercises and printing out flashcards) vanished to be replaced by a huge and ridiculous paywall. My students should be able to use my course materials for free, but they are bombarded with ads. Just not worth it anymore. Had to pay one more year to get my stuff out of there, but I am out for good and hope many teachers do the same.

Great platform.

Reviews filled by entitled people who want to recieve a 5* product without wanting to pay for any of it.
Quizlet is by far the best platform for flashcards and revision overall, and their new Q-Chat feature is quite possibly the best revision tool I have seen/used in my entire life, and is truly invaluable for humanities students like myself who can't really use the 'test' or 'match' tools on quizlet.
Whilst it is certainly on the more expensive side (£6/month), the platform is nonetheless an invaluable tool for revision, and I'm more than happy to pay for it.

Not renewing my subscription

I pay for Quizlet Plus bc sadly, it is the best flashcard app for ios for language learning.

However, I will not be renewing my subscription, primarily because of the *ANNOYING* and very distracting dashboard with pop up achievements and stars and notices. I'm not the only one to hate this, and yet Quizlet does not seem to care about their consumer base.

When I study, I need to go to the app or site, easily find ONLY my cards to edit them or to study. Quizlet, instead, decided that every deck that you have explored by other users should be located higher on your dashboard than YOUR OWN CARDS. Again, I do not want all extra garbage!!

I canceled my annual subscription and have a few months to find something better. Even if there is not a better replacement, I will not be returning to Quizlet until such time as they stop making the UI look like a used car circus lot with a screaming salesperson.

Paywall

Would honestly give a lower rating if I could. I've been using Quizlet since high school (I'm in college now). A lot of its services used to be free with ads, now everything is behind a paywall. Something that one genuinely helped me study is unusable now because they put "Learn" behind a paywall.
Not to mention that the prices they are asking for is insane. Some college students can barely even feed themselves, what makes Quizlet think that they can afford $8 a month for their services. Another issue is that Quizlet is mostly used by high schoolers, a lot of them don't even have a job. It's not worth it.
