The spa access is really made the whole trip feel special. Treatments were done so well and you could tell the team actually care about what they’re doing, not rushed at all.

Tragic
Tragic .. ruined the best tea rooms in wickham. This used to be a fabulous tea house and it went all hoity toity and ridiculous prices, now it's closed down
Absolutely gobsmacked at how someone can ruin such a brilliant business in a few months. Really miss the tearooms as it used to be.
I bought a voucher as a Christmas…
I bought a voucher as a Christmas present for a family member in order to visit the Quob estate as per their website which indicated we had a range of dining experiences. However when we came to book this experience the only option available to us was The Old House in Wickham, as the Wine tours and the Estate were for members only and the Tearooms were closed.
Their website does not indicate these restrictions and has left us very disappointed.
The food and drinks were overpriced, no other patrons were dining so atmosphere was very dull, we were not informed that the set menu was not available when the waitress gave us the menus, we were advised of two menu choices but as a party of four we could not mix and match the menus!! At the time of booking we requested a garden table, but a week later on arrival we were told that the garden was closed for refurbishment but we could cross over the road and sit outside the closed tearooms!
Overall a very disappointing experience, one we won’t be repeating.
Lovely day at the Spa.
Had an amazing stay at the Old House Hotel and Spa. The team went above and beyond to accommodate for us. Had access to the Spa which was such a treat also treatments with Valerie and Ebony, both myself and my husband agree they were the best treatments we have ever had. Dinner & service was great! 10/10 experience. We are already planning our next trip back.
Absolutely love the spa
Absolutely love the spa,
has many more experiences to enjoy, unlike any other spa I have visited in the area.
Staff are amazing and attentive and the food in the restaurant was outstanding!
Not to mention the fun we had with the wine machines, where you can taste so many wines before buying a whole bottle (which we did). Highly Recommend.
Worst customer experience ever…
Worst customer experience ever received. Booked a ‘guest spa evening’ for me and my friend for her birthday. Booked weeks in advance. Day before I am due to go, a phone call to say you cannot attend spa without being a member? Had only booked spa based on recommendations from others that were NOT members. No option of resolution. I sent an email to explain how bad this is and how the website should not allow people to be able to attend the spa if no member ID etc, and 24 hours later they phone me to say they will honour it as a ‘one off’? Like I would now want to come back. I then had to chase for a refund as no sign of it. Do not recommend.
Could be fabulous as lovely venue and…
Could be fabulous as lovely venue and food but quality of customer service and organisation is simply not up to the standard they are trying to attract. Currently at Party night and 12 of us here and singer came on late and playing jazz. Hardly party night. We have paid £70 each and worse Christmas party event l have been to. We came to Live music event with Mark Sesrle who was fab . Tonight was just disappointing apart from sommelier who saves the whole event. Really disappointing as My partner is full member.
Avoid at all costs
I note 1 or 2 people have said that they could log in to the new company Quob park but like most people I can’t. Clearly if they wanted us to be able to do that they would simply redirect their old farmers free range/farmers choice website. I have emailed them but they refuse to call me saying they will only respond by email. They are hiding behind terms and conditions that they think allows them to steal my money. Ive been paying in by standing order for 20 years and because I haven’t placed an order in 3 years they believe they can legally keep all my money. They don’t reply when I ask at least give me the last 3 years money Ive paid in. I think my only option is to try the small claims court
Avoid their mail order free range service at all costs!
This is a review of the Quob Park Farmers Free Range online meat and other produce mail order service for which Quob Park is the parent company. I have had a deeply unsatisfactory service from them. I ordered a large joint of pork alongside 2 expensive bottles of wine and sundry other items, which was due for delivery yesterday. I only discovered late in the day, after contacting them by email (they don’t answer the phone) that in fact it wasn’t going to be delivered because of “issues at their couriers hub” (DPD), but was assured that it would be delivered today. No apology was actually offered throughout the email correspondence and an explanation was given that the lady called Leanne who was responsible, informed me that she was actually “away”, but picking up her emails! After 2 unanswered emails this morning and several unanswered calls to the number provided on their website, I decided to call the parent company this morning. I was immediately handed to another gentleman who seemed fully aware of my case and informed me that there was no tracking information available from DPD but that it was out for delivery, but “couldn’t say when today”. When I asked him to confirm that the said pork had of course been kept in cold storage, I was horrified to learn that indeed it had NOT, it was in “specialist packing” which “SHOULD be ok for 48 hours”!! (we were already at 36 and we’re talking pork here!). At this point I became extremely angry. There had been no attempt at proactive communication with me throughout this ridiculous process in order to let me know what was happening. It appears that this company do not consider the time of their customers to be important, have no interest in proactive customer service and furthermore and most worrying, seem to have little regard for food safety and hygiene. The only answer they seemed to provide was that it wasn’t their fault! I will be cancelling my subscription and account and seeking a refund of all funds held on account. Avoid at all costs
Beautiful inside and out
Beautiful inside and out, lovely tea and delicious cakes including a fantastic vegan raspberry bakewell. Will be coming back to try some of the exciting looking wine selection :)
Amazing food
This is the second time that we have visited this lovely Tea House this week.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, with a good amount of choice for all tastes.
They welcomed our small dog who got a lot of attention.
100% recomend visit here if you are passing through this way.
Excellent afternoon tea for 4
Excellent afternoon tea for 4, good array of savoury items followed by scones and fancy cakes. Plenty of tea of choice to drink in a delightful setting overlooking the vineyard. Would highly recommend.
Perfect beautifully presented…
Perfect beautifully presented breakfast, cooked to perfection, service outstanding and price was good, will be returning for sure
Fantastic lunch at the Old Tea House
Fantastic lunch at the Old Tea House. Can fully recommend the bottomless brunch! Great service, great food and especially fantastic wine. Will be coming back again and again, highly recommended.
Lovely first “Quob” experience
We’re reviewing The Old Tea House (one of Quob’s new establishments). We’ve had a lovely evening, and we will be coming back! The sharing boards, tapas, specials and wine all help to make a varied menu (and they cater for allergies/dietary requirements). We’re also excited to return to make use of the loyalty system, which includes £10 of wine each for signing up (this took a couple of minutes upon arrival and we could make use of it immediately). Very impressed considering it’s only just opened and looks to be putting a lot of thought into the customer experience. Also we can bring our dog which is a huge positive!
