3 Glorious Days in The Lake District.

We had an amazing 3 day tour of the Lake District with Darren. He was incredibly knowledgeable yet also entertaining and provided us with ample time in many sights along the way, recommendations on where to eat, and other tips for our stay. We really enjoyed the balance of time in nature to hike or relax and some cute villages for shopping. I also enjoyed the playlist of music to set the mood of each place we were visiting.

Loch Ness Day Trip

Our guide, Billy N., was fantastic. I brought my two daughters with me from New Jersey, USA to Loch Ness on July 1, 2026 and we had a very memorable time. We give Rabbie's Tours 5 plus stars!!

Bruce was a wonderfully engaging guide…

Bruce was a wonderfully engaging guide and driver - really took the time to get to know each guest and connect with them. The highlands views were stunning - and I enjoyed the Loch Ness boat tour as well. Would definitely recommend to others! Also easy check in at the bus station - well organized!

More Scenic stops in Glencoe would improve the experience

I recently took the 2-day Inverness, Glencoe and Highlands tour with Rabbie’s. While the first day was enjoyable, I was highly disappointed with the second day’s itinerary.

On our return journey through Glencoe, we stopped only once, despite passing several stunning viewpoints and waterfalls where many other tour groups and visitors had stopped. When I asked if we could make a brief stop, I was told we needed to reach Edinburgh by 7:00 pm.

What I found disappointing was that we had around 1.5 hours for lunch in Fort William but only about 30 minutes in Glencoe, which is one of the most beautiful and iconic parts of the Highlands. I believe the itinerary would be much better if some lunch time were reallocated to allow two or three short scenic stops in Glencoe.

I would encourage Rabbie’s to review the second day’s schedule, as spending more time in Glencoe would greatly enhance the overall experience for future travelers.

Hello Abdulkader,

Thank you for taking the time to write this review.

It's great to hear that you had a brilliant first day on tour, but it's a shame that the 2nd day didn't live up to the expectations.

I believe we already spoke via email, however I'd like to give a bit of context here as well.

We have a longer stop in Fort William as it's also a lunch stop for our guests. That way, they have plenty of time for lunch and to explore the town as well.

We'll then try to do multiple photo stops in Glencoe when time and space permits, as the parking spaces can be overfilling quite often during high season.

On our tours, we aim to have the right balance of time at different stops, allowing for short photo stops and more time to explore key destinations in depths. Sorry, the balance of time didn't feel right for you, and you felt like there wasn't enough time spent in Glencoe.

We are taking your feedback on board, and it will help us improve how we operate our tours.

Hopefully, you still enjoyed discovering the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness, and despite this disappointment on the second day, we'll have the chance to welcome you back on tour and offer you an experience that match more your expectations and your interest.

All the best,
Camille

A+ experience

The small size of the tour group makes all the difference, we traveled many roads the large coaches couldn’t. Our guide was flexible on itinerary and switched up the order of stops in accordance with the weather. She did a great job explaining the history and landscapes. Chaz was very friendly and organized. We heard lots of good stories. Both of the B&Bs that I was booked into were clean and comfortable. The Ladysmith guest house in Ullapool, Scotland was especially nice and included a full cooked breakfast. My room had a nice little kitchenette. It was located right in town and one block from a nice restaurant. The Duirinish Guest house in Portree, Scotland was more modest, with a continental breakfast and, was a 10 minute walk to town for dinner. I would travel with Rabbie’s again. I’ll never go on a large coach bus tour ever again.

We took two tours in two days!

We took two tours: St. Andrew’s w Tom. We were trying to remember all of his hysterical comments. I think all drivers also have open mic night? So funny! Tom was a great story teller, helpful and friendly.

We also did the 12 hour Loch Ness, Glencoe, Highland, etc…w uncle Sean. He treated us to stories, comedy, hints (grab food now…this cafe is the best, I swear) to use the toilets HERE. Brilliant!

We cannot wait to use this tour group AGAIN…if options to select tour guides Tom and Uncle Sean on our list!

They truly love what they do and so easy to take. I appreciated the promptness too. Don’t be late to bus station! They leave early or ON TIME. Grab your coffee, treat ahead of time although stops at cafe about 60 minutes into tour.

See you soon, gentlemen.

Two words: Craig Young

Two words: Craig Young. Fun, boisterous, big personality, great storyteller, impeccable playlist. Would take any tour he gave. He showed our group around Skye with lots of laughs and banter, plus great tales of history and folklore and even his own life.

Isle of Wight, Devon and Cornwall

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this trip, from the comfort of the minibus to the professionalism and friendliness of our two drivers, Jack and Carl. The itinerary was well planned and very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour and Rabbie’s organization! Over my expectations.

Do recommend Rabies

The driver, Jeff, is a rockstar! Such a gentle giant, super fun and always explaining everything and the decisions he took about what we were going to see. The only thing I didn't love is the fact that we have little time in each spot. I understand that there is a lot to see, but it would be nice having more time in each spot, even if it meant seeing less things.

Incredible tour

Incredible tour. Amazing guide. So worth the trip. The day is very long from inverness, youre on the road for some time but it really is worth it. The sights on this tour are absolutely stunning. This tour is a great way of seeing all of the sites without hiking. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and very kind.
