Great quality coffee table

Friendly and helpful staff. Great furniture. Most of our flat’s furniture is from Raft. We bought a piece of furniture in July 2025 and were going away for a while. Raft kept it for us until we were back 9 months later.

Am delighted with my Melrose sofa, it was delivered just before Christmas and is so comfortable, a sofa I can both sit on and sit in.

After searching numerous places trying to find the right sofa and just not being able to see something that would be right for us we visited Raft in St Albans.
Tony and the team could not have been more helpful, they listened to what we were after and provided a couple of mock drawings to see how they would look in our room.
Whilst not the cheapest we knew that they would be made well and last a long time, so we bought 2 sofas and a foot stool.
The overall service and the quality of the product stood out from all other places we had seen and we are delighted with our purchase.

Tony at Raft Furniture offered a really personalised experience and worked with me to come up with the best modular solution for a large sofa we wanted. He was very helpful with fabrics and was always available to answer any queries I had. I am really pleased with the finished result!

We visited the St Albans Raft Store with our two young children having spent the past two months' of weekends visiting every sofa shop under the sun! We just couldn't find anything that matched the size, colour, elegance, wear, sophistication, fabric choice and salesperson knowledge that we were after until we met Tony at Raft. The sofas are of a different class to everywhere else we visited, Tony was so so helpful and he made the process easy without being at all pushy. Although we did decide to come back without the kids to make a final decision on fabric! Don't even get me started on the kindness and entertainment they provided to the kids! We waited a short 8 weeks for our bespoke sofas, when most places were quoting 10-12! This is the first time my family has sat in a room together as we waited for several years for the right sofas and we are so pleased we waited! Thanks Raft! Pure class.

I recently bought a sofa and had an excellent experience notably thanks to the salesperson (Abasin) who assisted me. He took his time to explain everything clearly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and provided a wide range of fabric samples for me to take home and compare. His patience and professionalism made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. I’m very happy with both the service and the final purchase. Highly recommended.

Our armchairs are really comfortable and delivery was well organised and chairs well protected during transport.

The seatee is of good quality and comfortable. His colleague who contacted us to complete a video site access visit, to ensure it would fit, was also friendly and positive. All members of staff , including the delivery men, are very professional.

An amazing experience start to finish, Raft has such lovely designs, high quality fabric and best customer service. We had the lovely Abasin helping us from the Cricklewood Raft store and he helped us so much every step of the way and giving great advice. We are so so happy, thank you!

Abasin was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for rather than pushing a hard sell. He also went out of his way to offer us sale prices and different upholstery options, which ended up saving us a fair bit of money — something we really appreciated.

Everything was explained clearly, the process was smooth, and we felt confident we were in good hands the whole way through. If you’re dealing with RAFT, I’d highly recommend asking for Abasin — top-class service and a real credit to the company.

I ordered a sofa that was to large to get through door on delivery, it was taken back to the factory and the base was remade to fit
I was updated on process and after a speedy turn around sofa has been delivered and looks amazing !

I bought my sofa ages ago and it still looks as if I bought it yesterday. I had a problem with it and they came and repaired it, no questions ask.

We had a fantastic experience visiting the Raft store at Westfield. We own a Manhattan sofa and wanted to replace the cushion fillings. Thanks to the kind support and guidance from Bilguun we found what we needed.

I am sharing my experience with Raft Furniture (also trading as House of Raft Furniture) to warn potential customers.

I placed an order and paid a deposit, which I later cancelled within my legal consumer rights. Despite this, Raft Furniture has refused to refund my deposit and instead attempted to issue a credit note, which is not lawful in this situation.

I made repeated efforts to resolve the matter directly through customer service and attempted to escalate the issue to senior management. These attempts were unsuccessful, with no effective escalation route provided and some communications failing entirely. This left me without any meaningful way to resolve the issue internally.

This situation caused significant distress, financial hardship and loss of time, particularly as it coincided with serious personal circumstances following a natural disaster abroad.

Based on my experience and wider reports, this appears to be a longstanding practice, with refunds routinely withheld under the guise of “contractual terms,” regardless of statutory consumer rights. Customer service was dismissive, obstructive and showed little regard for legal obligations or customer welfare.

I have since raised a formal complaint and have reserved my right to pursue the matter through Trading Standards and the Small Claims Court.

My advice: Avoid Raft Furniture entirely. Their handling of refunds and customer care is unethical, unlawful, and deeply distressing.
