Fantastic experience

I love Rakuten!!! Every quarter a check shows up and it comes right on time for me to pay a bill. I hate that sometimes I forget to go there first especially when I'm on my cellphone ;0(. I tell everyone in my close circle to use Rakuten. It makes sense! In some cases it covers taxes and more.

Absolutely amazing customer service. I had a problem and they were so nice and professional and very attentive. They solved it for me with no issues. Definitely recommend.

too many times I could have orshould have received a rebate...but most of the time, I never receive the benefit -and there isnever an explanation. so many times that I deleted the app. not worth it. Ie wasgood in the past but now it is useless

Beware. Rakuten is fine for small cash back purchases. However, for large purchases they find a way to deny cash back. Rakuten was offering 12% cash back on AWARA. I made a purchase. Used no coupon codes. Paid the sale price listed on the website. Rakuten refused cash back saying I used a non Rakuten discount. THERE WAS NO OTHER CHOICE THAN THE PRICE I PAID. I read before that they don't honor large purchase price cash back.

Signed up through a referral and made sure to read all terms and conditions to confirm I was eligible. Made a purchase directly through the app with no ad blockers or VPN. I even bought something from Kobo a company owned by Rakuten.

Today it just showed me that my purchase was ineligible with no reason given. No referral bonus and no cash back from the order. DO NOT use this company, all they will do is steal your information and give you nothing in return.

Rakuten works the way it was intended. It automatically credits my account when I make purchases through its website on most of the shopping portals I use. So easy! Great return!

A great app and the rewards are nice. I won't deduct a star for it because it is not a fault of the platform, but when using for other sites like Ticketmaster who do active add-on and bot detection, getting the screen to refresh from the "waiting room" to the "queue" when tickets go on sale doesn't happen with the Rakuten add-on active.

This company is worse than the worst insurance company you can imagine. They invoke hurdles of all types to prevent a qualifying expenditure from being paid. It's a JOKE. Spend your time doing more important things in life than arguing with these dopes. You can appeal "find my cash" until you're blue in the face. Ultimately, they will find a technicality to disqualify.

who doesn't want to earn extra money .. using rakuten has earned me cash that i can use however i want .. even tho is just a few pennies on the dollar .. yes it still adds up

I've been using rakuten for years, since it was called ebates. I've saved hundreds with it.

I have been a Rakuten user for about 2 years. They used to be very diligent in cash back payments so I have been recommending to all my friends and family members.
Recently I have opened a rakuten imprint credit card that had a promo to receive a $100 bonus when you spend $1000. The condition stated that the bonus will be awarded in 90 days. I spent the money in the first week and the payment was cleared because I paid for my insurance I am certain it doesn’t have to be confirmed with the vendor like they do with cash backs when you make a purchase. After 90 days the cash back was added to Rakuten but it has been pending, hence inaccessible, for 2 weeks and I am still waiting. The terms did not mention any additional wait time because 90 days is already a long time to wait. So I reached out via email and the customer service told me that they have to clear/confirm the transaction that happened 90 days ago and the cash back will be transferred from pending to confirmed in 20-100 days. Nowhere in their terms that was mentioned.
In addition, they have been holding cash backs for 2-3 months in pending status. When I reach out to ask for status they just send a generic response.
I am very unhappy with their service and will not be using their credit card anymore. Just wanted to share with people who is considering to open Rakuten cc.
