Raleigh Stowayay

Bought 2 new Raleigh stowaway electric folding bikes from Winstanley Bikes Bolton
We are. Both in our 60s and not ridden for 50 years so thought we would play safe and get Raleigh because we have heard of them before.Big mistake over £1000 each one of them has been. Back at winstanley bikes nearly 100 days now and still not got a bike to ride on we cycle together always so that's 2 bikes layer up for 100 days Raleigh say it's not up to them it is Winstanley to sort out .well this company has no aftersales at all over 30 emails sent no answers given to me I tell you what this has been so much of our lives phoning emailing and just getting no where very very stressful

Got a bike flyon 5

Got a bike flyon 5 from e-bikeshop.co.uk and they forcing me to bring bike to them after only a month the bike is creaking from the crank area and i noticed half the spokes are loose on wheels .
Contacted raliegh and they not helping eather with getting the bike shipped to them 35 miles away would cost me £75 when it was supposed to have been rigorously checked by ebikeshop before i picked it up.
Am fuming if i had seen the bad customer reveiws in the first place for raliegh and ebikeshop.co.uk i would never had bought the bike !!!

Raleigh motus tour ebike 0 stars if I could

Where do I start? Extremely overpriced ebike, not even worth £1000 let alone £2050, 250w motor? The bike will let you down when it's windy let me tell you that, there is not enough torque, acceleration isn't that good either, could accelerate faster on a road bike. And lastly the battery does not last a long time especially when it's the windy and the motor is working extremely hard pretty much all the time just so that it maintains 14mph lol. So when I first got the bike which was around 2 months ago, it was good then after a week or two the speed sensor stops working properly so had to get it fixed (warranty included thank goodness) but had to wait nearly 2 weeks for it to get fixed and as someone that works a delivery job with the bike, this stopped me from earning a living. Now that winter is approaching, I'm starting to think that it will be impossible to work with as there is not enough power to push you through the strong winds. Do yourselves a favour and build your own custom ebike with a good battery and a 1500w motor that has 6 times the amount of torque Raleigh ebikes have. Just avoid and don't be a fool like me. £2050 gone down the drain.

Difficult company mismanaged by the parent organization.

The company is really a pain in the neck to deal with. Why they make it difficult for themselves to sell $2000+ bikes is beyond comprehension. Placed an order using a credit card with matching billing/shipping addresses and real names. The card was charged immediately, and in about a week they emailed back asking to contact them. I contacted. Turns out that they by default suspect every customer to be a crook and to prove otherwise you have to send them a copy of a government-issued photo id. Order cancelled. Both Raleigh and Diamond are owned by the same parent company, so you may want to stay away from both to save youself time. The bikes themself have been steadily getting worse. 10 years ago the quality was superior. Now they produce rather subpar, overpriced bikes. It is likely for that reason both Ralegh and Diamond have 50% off "sales" every other month.

Awesome

I've had a Raleigh bike for over 10 years now. Haven't ran into too many issues, just an occasional flat. I recommend it.
