Top notch customer service
Communication is always top notch with Raretro. Jean is an absolute pleasure to work with. She responds to my email within a day or so. They’re always open to ‘how can Raretro help you?” which seems like a rarity these days.
Anyhow I purchased custom gloss buttons for my N3DSXL and it is of high quality. It has the curvature that OEM buttons have. I’ve purchased other custom buttons elsewhere and it was flat, rough and not comfortable to play with after awhile. Since I was highly satisfied with my N3DSXL, I reached out to see if they make custom buttons for the 2DS. Jean reached out and said they’re very busy but she can make a set. Currently in the process of getting that done but overall can’t complain one bit about this business!

eBay Sellers Let Me Down but Raretro Picked Me Up!
After months of scouring eBay for a Nintendo DS in good condition from a U.S. seller (importing just isn’t worth the tariffs right now), I gave up after sending back two due to misleading photos and descriptions. Then I tried Raretro Consoles, and wow! Both DS units I ordered were exactly as described: near perfect, accurately photographed, and shipped with care. I wish I’d gone with them from the start, but the lack of reviews made me hesitate. Now I’m leaving one to help the next fellow gamer on the hunt. Prices are only slightly higher for good condition retro consoles, but the communication, transparency, and quality are absolutely worth it. Highly recommended. Thank you Raretro if you see this.
