Ordered a dress for a Christmas…
Ordered a dress for a Christmas present. It arrived and the quality was worse than expected. There is no phone number for customer service. I have emailed multiple times, but an AI assistant is the only response I receive. I am so disappointed. The dress was $325 and I would really like a refund. Buyer beware!

Customer service conveniently non existent
I’ve had nothing but issues with the website. I had credit and store credit and I was unable to use the codes when purchasing something. I was told to purchase what I wanted and let customer service know and they would simply refund me the credits. At this point in time there were responsive. I did this and now I’ve sent maybe more than 20 emails trying to get my $195 refunded back. It’s been promised twice after back and forth over weeks and I’m now being ignored and still haven’t received my refund.
Customer service is pretty much non existence when it’s convenient for them. Be warned.

I've already written a review here, but I've been a loyal customer for over 6-7 years. I don't understand the negative reviews, because their service and clothes are at such a high level. I still wear all the things, even the ones that are a few years old, and they're still like new, I just feel beautiful and so feminine in their brand and when I even solved a problem via Whatsapp, I always got an answer right away. I get so many compliments when I wear something from them. You're the best.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I received a faulty item and contacted customer service, but they were rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. I was unable to return the order and ended up stuck with an overpriced polyester dress with missing stitching. At this point, the quality feels comparable to fast-fashion brands like Shein. I used to love Rat & Boa, but unfortunately both the quality and customer service have gone downhill.

I have received two faulty dresses…
I have received two faulty dresses (same dress, different colours). I have been emailing them and using Instagram, for 3 days now and had still no response. I generated returns for both items but have no received the return labels. So I cannot return them yet and now I am worried I am going to lose money!

The experience I had with Rat & Boa was beyond amazing. I was fixated on having the Josephine cape for my wedding. Unfortunately, the website showed that it was out of stock for the last few months. I messaged the bride that I had it seen wearing it in photos and asked if she’d rent it to me as well as I was searching website after website for hours trying to find this or at least something similar. I was giving up hope, because no matter what I did, I couldn’t get my hands on this item! However, I decided to message the instagram page one day in hope that there would be a way to make this happen. With the help from Charlotte, I was lucky enough to snag one of these capes for my wedding. I am literally beyond amazed and excited. Charlotte went above and beyond with the customer service provided. She could have just told me no, she didn’t have one. However, she worked hard to find one and made it happen. I am so thankful that this company is lucky enough to have her. I can’t wait to get this product in the mail and share it through photos after our big day. I appreciate all of the help with this purchase. I’m sure this cape is 1000x times better in person and I am so excited to see it. Highly recommend ordering from this company!

Sad development of a stunning brand
Years ago the brand was using high quality materials but over time, prices went up and quality massively decreased - not a nice development :( I really used to love Rat&Boa sooo much!
They had some one layered silk dresses which where pretty see-through but at one point they crafted some silk dresses with an additional lining! Those were of great quality and also more usable in daily life and were reasonably priced. Loved those so much!

Always unbelievable customer service, Shannon helped me with my credit note on this occasion , I always buy Rat and Boa clothing. The designs are stunning, the postage is fast, if you do need to return it is seamless! The customer service is always amazing ,.a response within an hour at least! I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely ruthless and predatory
Absolutely ruthless and predatory. Their customer service is disgusting, their quality is garbage, and “overpriced” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Their return policy is a complete scam! they kept 15% of my money ( $700) and now I’m stuck fighting just to get back what’s rightfully mine. This place is a joke. Avoid them like the plague.

similar to other loyalists, the quality and cut recently have changed. I also tried to contact their whatsapp support (2x) to no avail. I feel the loyalty program has updated a couple times as well because I've had to reset it and noticed none of my purchase history is there anymore

Rat & Boa disappoints
I am a new customer to Rat & Boa as I was recommended it by a friend who looked gorgeous at an event in one of their dresses.
My daughter was getting engaged so I selected a dress from their website for the event. I ordered it about one month or so out from the event and waited excitedly for my delivery.
I waited and waited but didn’t even receive a confirmation email to say that my order was received. The money however was withdrawn from my account so I hoped it might be an oversight.
Still after 2 weeks of waiting, I heard nothing so I decided to reach out via email to see what was happening.
Initially I was told they had not received my order or could recognise my order number which I had been sent upon purchase.
After 6 attempts of contacting the company via emails and their online bot, and now my daughters engagement had come and gone, I received an email apologising for their late reply but that the dress was now in the mail and on its way.
I no longer wanted it. However it arrived within 7 days and then I attempted to return it. Not an easy feat either. They say it must be returned within 14 days but the process isn’t that clear or easy.
If I had trouble getting assistance with the purchase, you can imagine the assistance for a return.
Regardless I did hear back with advice on returning the dress so I did so within the 14 days.
I have received confirmation from Australia Post, since it was registered post and I have the return registration number.
I was hoping to hear something from the company since it has now been over a week since it was received by them, but nothing.
I am now left to wonder how long this process will take before the money is back in my account, refunded. I am still waiting.
By the way the dress was never tried on or worn, simply returned as received.
This experience has been stressful and deeply disappointing and I shall never consider purchasing from Rat & Boa again.
It could have been the beginning of a great relationship since I like several of their items, but I shall not risk it.
Please consider all of the above before committing yourself to all this stress, especially when it was all for a beautiful reason.
I will wait a while longer before lodging a complaint through the appropriate authorities.
Terrible terrible terrible Rat & Boa, I suggest you take a close look at your customer service model and make changes. In this economic climate, customers should be valued and respected.

the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
I have always loved Rat & Boa pieces, but this experience has completely ruined my trust in the brand.
I paid €260 for the Cairo dress, received it damaged on arrival, and followed every return instruction immediately. The package was delivered back to their Netherlands return hub on 27 October, yet I haven’t received any update, response, or support since.
I have emailed them, messaged through multiple channels, and waited patiently for days, and I have been completely ignored.
For a premium brand, this level of customer service is unacceptable.
I needed the dress for a special event and now I’m left without the dress and without any communication at all.
Rat & Boa makes beautiful designs, but beauty doesn’t mean anything if the brand doesn’t respect its customers.
Right now, this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Awful customer service. I sent 3 dresses back , the day after I received them, recorded delivery as they didn't fit me. I had a confirmation email confirming they had received them and the refund could take up to 10 days. I waited for 2 weeks before contacting them again to advise there is still no refund. I received an automated response saying if the refund still hadn't appeared, it would be transferred to a human agent. No one has contacted me, I have emailed again, no response. I have sent a whatsapp, which hasn't been read and no response. I have tried the chat on the webpage which is just a bot asking for an email address. I am still waiting for £300 refund, which I am concerned I won't receive, as no one is responding to me. I have never dealt with such appalling customer service and will never shop here again. I paid on my credit card as well, so have had to make the payment to avoid being charged.

I ordered a top and pants from this…
I ordered a top and pants from this website for my wedding which cost me more than $650. When they arrived, the top was too small, and the pants I was on undecided on. I returned the top the day it arrived and thought I’ll think about the pants and see if I can find another top to go with. After a weekend of searching at the shopping mall, I couldn’t find a top that matched, so three days after I returned the top, I decided to return the pants. The return was delivered promptly (over a week ago), and the cost for my top was refunded, but they are claiming they never received my second parcel, which had the pants ($170 worth). I’ve now had to raise a dispute as despite Aus post tracking showing it was delivered, they have said they have no record of my pants arriving. Will never shop from them again. Terrible customer service.

Deeply Disappointed with Rat & Boa’s Customer Service
I’m writing this review because I am extremely disappointed with Rat & Boa’s lack of communication and customer service.
I’ve been a loyal customer for quite some time and have always loved their clothes, but this recent experience has really shaken my confidence in the brand. Despite already emailing about my issue, I’ve received no response at all — and this isn’t the first time I’ve had to chase a refund.
So far, only part of my refund has been processed (£200), while the remaining amount of £164.50 for Order No. 301815 is still outstanding. I kept one item (the swimsuit) but returned the Fiorella Dress, and despite doing everything correctly, I’ve been left waiting and ignored.
It’s honestly so frustrating and disheartening to have to go through this again. I never expected to have to chase down my own money twice, especially from a brand I genuinely admired. I really hope Rat & Boa address this quickly and improve how they handle customer issues, because right now, I feel completely let down.
