Scam & horrible customer service

I bought two dresses from Rat&Boa, one of which was missing from the delivery. I tried repeatedly to get in touch with their customer service, and after a long time they told me that they didn’t believe it was missing and therefore wouldn’t do anything about the problem. That’s scamming your customers, and I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. An absolutely terrible experience!

Disappointing online service

**They got back to me with a sincere apology explaining the situation. Really appreciate the aftercare after a disappointing experience**

I love Rat & Boa clothes, which is why this experience was so disappointing.

This was my first time ordering from them online. I bought two items — one arrived almost immediately, but the other never showed up. When I contacted customer service, I was told it was actually out of stock. I find it ridiculous that I wasn’t informed of that when I placed the order.

As soon as I realised it wouldn’t arrive in time for my event, I tried to cancel it. My request was ignored, and the item turned up 16 days later — far too late to be of any use to me.

To make matters worse, when I then tried to return it, I was told I had missed the return deadline. After more chasing by email, they eventually sorted that part out, but still charged me a return fee.

After nearly three weeks of waiting, four emails, poor communication, and being sent an item I had already tried to cancel, I really think the return fee should have been waived. I love the brand’s clothing, but the customer service experience was very poor.

Beautiful dress

The dress I ordered was absolutely gorgeous, it was too long, which I expected as I’m only 156cm.
I would have kept it and had it altered but it was a little see through in the light and I wanted it for my daughter’s wedding. If it had just been for a party I would have been happy to wear it
The returns service and refund was simple and quick
I would definitely buy again

Really quick and efficient resolution to my issue with my order

I love Rat & Boa. I have previously ordered with them and was super satisfied with my dress.

I had recently placed another order for a dress for an upcoming wedding, and upon receiving it noticed that the fit wasn't exactly as described, but beyond that there was a quality issue with the seam being off centred. I was extremely upset because I had been eyeing this dress for probably a year and finally pulled the trigger through a sale they had.

This is a pretty difficult issue to describe or at least prove through pictures without being able to inspect it, but the rat and boa team helped me really quickly by sending me a return label, and update on further instructions (that upon only review of it, would there be an issue of a full refund only cause I had bought this item on sale, and because I had it shipped to a US address, even though I am from Canada).

It was honestly in my eyes at least a complex process, and one I was super hesitant on that wouldnt be resolved, however, I received my refund quickly and was offered an opportunity to honour the discount I had received on the dress when the size i needed became available.

Maybe some people expect this type of service for an issue like this but honestly, some companies create a lot of unnecessary friction and ruin the entire customer experience for their customers.

I wasn't able to re-order a dress in time for the wedding, but I'll definitely be buying from them again, and just wanted to make note of the wonderful service I did receive.

Amazing costumer care

I needed to return two items I bought on sale and order new ones to the same discounted price. The team was super lovely, patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Very good experience

I purchased a dress from the website and unfortunately it arrived with a pulled thread. I contacted customer service and they were extremely helpful in resolving the issue. They guided me step by step through the return and refund process and supported me with the new purchase as well.

I bought the Luciana dress which was just as described on the website. Beautiful fabric and pattern! The only downside that it was 48 hour delivery however I actually received it 5 days later from ordering.

I have been waiting weeks and weeks for…

I have been waiting weeks and weeks for my refund to go through. It was “processed” by them almost 3 weeks ago now, and said that it would show in my account 5-10 business days later. It’s been 15 business days later and I haven’t received the refund. No one has gotten back to my emails in over a week now and I’ve tried multiple emails. 2 emails even bounced back. It’s very concerning as I paid $300+ for this dress. I’m worried I won’t receive my money back.

I purchased a dress 11 days ago

I purchased a dress 11 days ago, it’s still not shipped, customer service absolutely ignoring all the emails and messages I’ve been sending. On their socials they claiming they’ve had a backlog because of the holiday but it could be simply resolved by notifying buyers on their website/newsletter. At this point, I would not recommend to support this company because they’re truly not respect their customers. Also recent fake bought reviews looks ridiculous.
