White Water-Based Enamel for Interior Protection A high-performance, water-based enamel formulated with polyurethane resin to protect interior surfaces under regular use. It delivers strong chemical resistance and a tough, washable finish that copes well with frequent cleaning. The coating resists burnishing and yellowing, helping surfaces look consistent over time. Careful formulation supports excellent levelling, reducing brush and roller marks for a clean, professional result. Satin provides a soft, controlled sheen suited to traditional and modern interiors. Matt offers a flatter, contemporary finish with reduced light reflection. Both finishes are fire retardant on non-combustible substrates: Certified C-s2, d0 according to EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009, dry quickly, and release very low odour, making them suitable for refurbishment work where downtime must be kept short. Surface Preparation and Primer Compatibility All substrates must be sound, clean, dry, and free from grease or residues. Interior wood requires a suitable primer before topcoating. Ferrous metals should be primed using Juno Metalex anti-rust primer to prevent corrosion. Aluminium and galvanised steel require Juno Waterprim or Multi-support Primer after thorough degreasing and abrasion. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, lightly abraded, and fully de-glossed. Avoid use on cracked or highly porous timber. Do not apply in damp conditions, high humidity, or when temperatures fall below 5°C. This product is for interior use only. Follow all recommended environmental controls and safe disposal guidance. Application Method Suitable for application by brush, roller, or spray. Mix thoroughly before use and apply without thinning. Work in thin, even coats using long, controlled strokes to aid flow and drying. Two coats are recommended to achieve full protection and uniform appearance. Touch dry in approximately one hour. Recoat after 24 hours and within eight days. Best results are achieved when the surface temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point and relative humidity remains below 80%. Avoid application during rain, draughts, or strong airflow. Key Features Low odour, water-based formulation designed for indoor environments High opacity and reliable coverage of approximately 10–12 m² per litre per coat Stable colour with long-term resistance to yellowing Independently certified to A+ indoor air quality and AgBB standards Important Limitations Not suitable for exterior wood, cracked substrates, floors, immersion, or areas exposed to constant moisture or extreme temperatures. Do not mix with other coatings or exceed the maximum tinting level of 3%. Adhesion testing is essential on uncertain or unusual surfaces. Always consult the downloadable technical data sheet before starting work to confirm suitability, preparation requirements, and correct application procedures.
