Avoid any company using Reactive Claims

Insured with esure but referred to this company to make a claim. Impossible to work with - friend had massive stroke so 10 people had to cancel a holiday. We are the only couple with esure and the only couple not to be reimbursed. They want us to get HER GP to complete a 20 question form - which GP is going to break patient confidentiality to give us this completed form containing her medical history!

lost luggage claim…

We had a lost luggage claim with this company in June 2022 after being left on Holiday without our luggage. They stopped responding to emails in August with no resolution to the claim. Avoid!

Swift positive response

After reading the guidelines very carefully and providing all information, invoices, receipts, copies of bank entries and credit card entries, together with a letter from my doctor to explain and support the action we took (which included forgetting to contact insurance company while in hospital for three days after day two of our holiday) we were delighted to have a swift response and our claim is being paid in full up to limit on policy. We also took care to put together all the information in the same order as on the application form to assist the reviewers. We sent information in paper form with post and trace service!

Avoid like the plague

I am only giving 1 star as there is ni option for zero stars. Unfortunately I had travel insurance with these rip off merchants, However I had a stroke months before I was due to go away, I filled in the claim form informing them of this. I got an email today telling me they are not paying the claim. I was only claiming for the deposit. They couldn't care less that I had a stroke and my whole life came tumbling down. They just find ways of not paying out, knowing what I know now, I would stay away from these charlatans'.

Reactive Claims helped us quite quickly

The experience was ok never great as we had to cancel a holiday. We insured via an All Clear Gold plus insurance. When for medical reasons we had to cancel we found ourselves taking to Reactive Claims. Their part, after I managed to get and complete the correct forms, for cancellation were good. Very helpful and even talked twice in the phone. The GP forms took 6 weeks. Reactive 2 and a half weeks which is good

Claim handling

Like the others here we have had a terrible experience with Reactive Claims. They have not followed the details of the policy. Although no receipts are required they insisted on them, with the few we attached some were honoured and others not. Very old fashioned form clearly their objective is to make a small payout so that stats can be upheld for pay outs with no reflection of the claim. A terrible example for the travel insurance industry.

Very good experience

After a bit of a sticky start, through no fault of Reactive Claims but down to the initial reporting of the accident with Zurich, they settled the claim extremely quickly. The website was a little challenging to submit the claim but the email response to questions asked was very efficient.

Avoid

This company must pride itself on not meeting claims and paying out as little as possible. It will not entertain any claim without original receipts, so how do you find a receipt for a stolen set of car keys? - you are not given a separate receipt for the different elements that make up a car purchase - but Reactive would not accept that logic and refused to honour a claim based on the replacement cost receipt. Their mean mindedness is only matched by their woeful inefficiency, the claim dragged on for four months due to them losing claim material. In addition their method of calculating claim amounts, is mysterious, to say the least. When taking out Travel Insurance, i would advise anyone to ask if any claim is to be handled by this company. if the answer is yes - go elsewhere!

Buyer beware!!

We bought our travel insurance through a travel adviser, consequently we didn’t check the reviews. Hopefully you will be forewarned. My main issue, would not be that ultimately after six weeks of producing all the requested paperwork and a number of phone calls they now tell us we are not covered for lost baggage. Something that the average customer would expect from their insurance, but undoubtably their staff must know isn’t the situation and therefore should have told us immediately and we could have saved a lot of time and energy by pursuing a claim with our airline. This is absolutely a company that I would never take travel insurance with in the future

Fantastic company

I made a claim which was sent on to Reactive Claims Ltd the service was second to none they were very fast and clear with what I had to provide as evidence they
were so helpful I would say they are the best Claims company I have ever delt with
I was paid back in full within 7 days very happy to give this review

Excellent Service!

Unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with a form of cancer and was told he was unfit to fly for the holidays we had already booked. We contacted AllClear who organised all the necessary claim forms. We filled them in, got the Doctor to sign and sent them all together with relevant information.
Very quick response and full settlement, job done!

Sickening, immoral and incompetent

I never chose to engage with this bunch of charlatans, but my insurance company outsources claims to them. They will use every excuse not to pay out on a genuine claim backed up with all the evidence. I am referring them to the ombudsman, as i see are many others. They are truly sickening, and I would recommend to avoid at all costs. I call on karma to visit every last one of them.

Excellent claims handling.

Initially the claim was referred to another adjuster but as soon as it was passed to Reactive Claims Ltd. in spite of my concerns, it was handled and settled promptly and efficiently,with immediate payment in full.

Fast and efficient resolution.

Thank you for the confirmation of settlement. I would add that all persons involved have made what continues to be a very upsetting time for us a little easier by dealing with this matter in a thoroughly professional manner. It has made a very refreshing change from the ineptitude and obfuscation that seems all to prevalent with so many companies today. Thank you again

My mum suffered a mild heart attack and…

My mum suffered a mild heart attack and was due to go on holiday 10 days later.
Reactive Claims dealt with the claim quickly and the entire process was handled most efficiently. All the requested information was supplied to them and the claim was settled timeously. They also sent a message of good wishes for her.
No fuss and no hassle.

Unexpected holiday cancellation

We had to cancel our holiday recently after my husband had a stroke. Our insurers All Clear passed our claim to Reactive to sort it. Reactive have acted timely and professionally throughout, they have kept us informed by e mail of developments and requests for information. They have paid us the claim in full within 3 weeks, minus the expected excess. In all the stress and anxiety, Reactive and All Clear have been excellent. We cant fault them.

Nightmare underwriter

I am currently making a small holiday claim with them. Despite providing all evidence over 3 months ago, the only contact I have received from them is asking me for evidence that I’ve already given them. They are now ignoring all emails asking for an update and don’t answer their phones.
