I've read that Recaro Gaming has taken legal action against a German review website over negative reviews. I find that kind of behavior really off-putting for a consumer brand, and it affects my trust in them.
Bought a celona travel system and the pram base itself won't fold down. We have had two sent out and none fold down. Been almost a month and still not got a working one. Baby is due any day and recaro don't care at all. They have our money but we don't have a working product. Save yourself the stress buy something else. You can't phone anyone as there isn't any UK numbers it's all via email and they don't reply for days and days.
Bought a baby car seat in September that was recalled in November. Customer service is appalling. They take ages to respond to emails and ask for the same details several times. I still haven't received my refund although they have received the seat 10 days ago.
Ended up buying one from a rival brand and am more than happy with their customer service.
Definitely won't recommend Recaro for baby car seats.
Bought something 5 weeks ago that is discontinued, now having to do a chargeback to obtain a refund. AVOID.
