Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! They never returned deposit after the wedding, and went radio silent ignoring all emails, messages and texts. They have blocked me on social media.

Communication is appalling. I have read other reviews with similar issues! Avoid avoid avoid!! 😡😡😡😡

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Avoid!!
Red Cherry catered the food and pay bar for my wedding back in August. After 3 months of chasing and having our emails and messages ignored we are still yet to receive our bar deposit back and have now been blocked. Annoyingly we were very happy with the food on the day but their customer service afterwards has been absolutely appalling and has completely ruined the experience for us.

Also we prepaid for £3.50 per tea and coffee for it to be instant Sainsburys own brand and put in the kitchen for my guest to make themselves!

Very disappointed in all of this and will be taking it further, if I ever get any contact from Wayne.

Don’t waste your time or money

We ordered the “Pizza Party” from Red Cherry Catering for a Hen Do of 20 people. The price was pretty extortionate and they suggested there would be enough for half a pizza per person. I was expecting decent sized and quality pizzas considering this.

I had absolutely no contact from Amanda or Wayne with weeks leading up to the event, leaving me feeling anxious that this was a scam. I spent the entire day of the event emailing, texting, calling and no-one answered. I finally had contact from Wayne 5 minutes before the food was due to arrive.

The food arrived and it was luke-warm, the pizzas were about 12-inch and presented poorly (i.e. the slices had all moved to one side of the box, were upside-down). Guests complained of having not enough food.

The reason I am giving 2 stars is due to the food actually arriving, and a guest said the coleslaw they provided was tasty.

Don’t waste your time or money.

DO NOT BOOK AND WASTE YOUR MONEY

Brides and grooms to be , please be careful when booking RED CHERRY CATERING COMPANY based in Dorset . Please read the following that sadly we experienced 2 weeks ago at our wedding .

Please do not waste your money with this company. We booked our venue and Red Cherry catering at the time were listed as a supplier . We attended an open day at the venue and met Wayne , made our concerns really clear about several of our guests having serious food allergies, he said it wasn't a problem and not to worry he and his team deal with these issues regularly.

Well that certainly wasn't the case on the day . We paid a lot of money for a BBQ sit down meal and buffet in the evening .

Guests with serious allergies sat down to food that would have put them in hospital . There was no BBQ meat, more like grilled and served virtually cold . Buffet was booked for 9pm of the evening, this was served at 7pm and left out for 2hrs before guests aware . Serious food safety issues, very frustrating when we went to all the trouble of confirming function sheets twice so this wouldn't happen .

To add insult, Red Cherry staff seen by multiple guests smoking weed on wedding premises. SEVERAL emails and whatsapp messages to Wayne and Amanda, that took over a week to receive a reply . Whereby Wayne had the arrogance to call myself and my husband Liars. When in fact we contacted the venue and confirmed on their CCTV that the staff of Red Cherry Catering had LIED about everything . To date we have had no reply for Wayne for an apology. We have since passed all the details to the FSA and local paper.

Tarnished our wedding at our cost and disgusting customer service 😒

FANTASTIC!

FANTASTIC!! Really nice, helpful and dedicated staff. Needed help with basic SEO on my webstore, contacted Red Cherry , got what I wanted. They gave me a good insight on what to work on, improve or change. Helped understand the need of my customers and the right direction to take.
