Disgusting attitude the staff have here. They support genocide. It stinks in there anyway. Don’t waste your precious money in this shameful establishment.

Saw a woman being denied entry because she had a Palestinian flag on her jacket—a nation currently experiencing genocide. If you disagree with this policy, you should take your business elsewhere.

Friendly , incredibly tasty food and large portions for a small price

After a tiring trip to London, where we'd visited various pubs and restaurants, this was our last lunch stop before heading back to the Netherlands.
We thought, "Oh well, a bit of pub grub and off we go."
To our surprise, we had to go down to the basement for food because there were still a few places free, and we entered a delightfully charming English room where we were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to our comfortable seats.
Anyway, we ordered our food, and when we received it, it turned out to be not your average mini pub portions, but wonderfully large pies and other dishes for very reasonable prices.
This pub is by far the best food we've had in London (certainly better than the so-called award-winning restaurant in picadilly London).
We visit London often, and we will definitely return to this establishment and tell all our London-loving friends about this gem.
Thank you so much for a comfortable and delicious end to our holiday.

Old smelly weird staff

If I were management I would be really worried this pub does not go under? The staff are not nice people rude & unfriendly. The security are going to let this pub go under also as they turn away anyone and everything that walks anywhere near the pub. I watched them turn away 8 people in 10 minutes for no reason stating the pub was full
There was plenty of stand up areas for extra clients.
I bought a pint and wine and the bar maid never said a word smashed the cash machine down on the bar never said anything, ripped the receipt of the ms give threw it on bar at me. Not a thanks or anything. Then we sat at a table and 20 minutes lately where rudely told by staff it was reserved ? A table reserved in a small pub??
Stay clear of this pub
