NEVER CHOOSE THEM!!
Mr Chris Van Kraayenburg (Associate Director) has published the advertisement in Rightmove with A WRONG LEASEHOLD YEAR (longer than actual remaining year) and never clarify it. He also tried to hide all the problems of the flat until we asked him directly!!
We found the leasehold year is incorrect while we read the mortgage offer letter from bank and emailed him about it. He just said "Sincere apologies, the 101 (remaining year) is indeed correct. Let me know if you're happy to proceed on this basis."
I AM DEFINITELY NOT HAPPY!
Mr Chris Van Kraayenburg was for me the worse possible experience with Estate agent. Arrogant, not supportive. Showing no respect. From very first moment interested ONLY in money and fees collection. Real Shark for money. Judgemental. Sharing his unfair opinions about the tenant with landlord. Should never deal with customers! Putting people off this business.
Went to view a property in Salford with a confirmed viewing. The agent didn't even bother turning up despite me chasing several times.
I had been on the market with RE/MAX for about 3 months with no problems, then I get an email saying that my agent had left and she was taking over my marketing. I rang my agent who told me he had not left, although he had handed his notice in, but had a 2 month's notice, and I would still be with him until he leaves, he was also annoyed this had happened.
Just over a month later I get another email to say that my propertyfile had been removed as requested. This was never requested. Emailed Re/Max to complain and asked for conformation that they received my email but no response. Would not recommend this company.
What's the point of advertising houses when they are all sold. Are they just bragging
Sale of my Livingston property concluded today thanks to the efforts of Simon Thomas and the team at Remax. A very positive experience in challenging economic times.
very good experience with Remax, agent was professional, the fee was affordable and my property sold quickly and above asking price. couldn't ask for anything more.10/10
Absolute shambles of an establishment, this is not an estate agency, this is a recruitment consultancy in order to pay substantial start up fees to then left to your own devices by Regional management who doesn't understand even the basics, please do research
My property was advertised a semi detached bungalow but turned out to be an attached property which had cost liabilities from the development of flats it was attached to. This was not pointed out during any part of the process and only came to ight after a search of the title deeds. The garden was confirmed as being part of the sale by the sales agent when it tuned out to be owned by the developer and had came with restrictions on the use by residents.
I am out of pocket to the tune of £850 as a result of important relevant information not coming to light until missives were being accepted!
No wonder sellers are having a bad experience, poor customer service all round.
This is my first experience with the company. Called a week ago to find out more details/arrange viewing for property. Details were apparently going to be passed to the Aberdeen office, I asked how soon someone would be in touch and was told "very soon". Called again 2 days after initial call as heard nothing, was told details would be re-sent to the Aberdeen office. I called the number for the Aberdeen office and was directed straight back to the main office. A week on property is still listed with no amendments. The whole situation seems suspect and demonstrates terrible professionalism from RE/MAX.
Definitely don't trust RE/MAX Scotland and i'd never sell or rent my property with them based upon this experience. I'm avoiding all properties sold with them from now on.
Unfortunately we had a rather poor experience with the manager at Remax Stirling. Our property was listed with him for many months with no success. We put this down to the managers very relaxed approach to selling. He never notified us of viewings and their results (not that there were many) and was often out of the office abroad visiting his wife.
Expect very little proactivity from this agent. If the people don't walk through his door desperate to buy your house he won't go and find them.
In comparison we swapped agents and went with Clyde who sold our property in under a week!
