Poor aftercare on high tech equipment
We have bought both air source heat pump and solar panels and battery storage from this company and have been satisfied by the sales team and installation of both. My problem is the aftercare given on both. Initially my thermostat was not installed and this took 1 year to get sorted after numerous calls and now my legionella programme is not working. After 3 weeks of calls to Renewafuel I am still waiting for my calls to be returned. This is not the way to operate a company. Sales is good, but aftercare is so very important on such technical equipment...
There must be companies who can carry out both parts of a business better than Renewafuel..
I feel very let down by them and will not be willing to give good feedback to friends and family wanting to update heating etc

The member of staff who answered our first call, the representative who visited us at home, the electrician and his mate, and everybody we have spoken to on the telephone have been polite and very helpful. Installation of Air Source Heat Pump and Solar Panel systems at our home in Greater Manchester
It seems as if all levels of Renewafuel staff are available, at the other end of the phone, to answer whatever technical or commercial queries customers or potential customers might have about the system that is proposed for them, from Rob Gledhill (who visited us at home to size the system to suit our individual needs), to the surveyors who assessed the specifics of the actual plant, relative to our home.
Kelly and Jody, in the office, smoothed the way for our contract to be fulfilled and arranged for the £7500 government grant to be credited to us.
The guys on site were friendly and informative and carried out the entire installation efficiently and with skill, in two long days.
We recommend Renewafuel wholeheartedly.

Great team, great product
We are delighted with our new heatpump and radiators.
The team were fantastic. We had a visit to discuss options, a visit to carry out a heat loss survey to see if we could qualify for the boiler upgrade grant, a visit to look at how much disruption there would be and another visit to discuss new radiators and to sign the contract. There was absolutely no pressurised selling.
The installation team worked almost nonstop and kept disruption to a minimum. There was a noise coming from the pump so they came back and fixed it the next day and it is running perfectly. Thank you team.

Changing to air source heat pumps musch easier than expected.
We were keen to replace our gas boiler with an air source heat pump both to help reduce our contribution to global heating and to reduce our gas and electricity costs. We know that heat pumps are the green option and are three or four times more efficient than gas boilers; clearly heat pumps are the future. We got in touch with EcoExperts who listed Renewafuel as possible local suppliers.
Our first contact with Renewafuel was with a salesman who understood the technology and provided clear advice that gave us confidence to go ahead. I had researched heat pumps and was aware that there were some companies whose experience and understanding of the technology were lacking. Renewafuel’s approach gave me confidence right from the start.
Renewafuel commissioned an independent, detailed and rigorous survey of our bungalow to assess and confirm that heat pumps would be suitable and beneficial for us. The survey took half a day to complete and cost £360. They checked the insulation of the bungalow, the heating system, the electricity supply. They produced a floor-plan so that calculations of heat losses could be estimated. The result was a 59 page report which suggested that 5 of the 11 radiators should be upgraded with larger ones so that the design temperatures for each room would be met. This would be achieved by replacing the 24kW gas boiler with an 8.5kW Mitsubishi air source heat pump.
Nevertheless, I still had sleepless nights wondering if our decision to go ahead was the right one. There are so many unfounded scare stories about changing from gas boilers to heat pumps. Two months after installation, we are just as warm as we have always been. Having changed electricity supplier to Octopus we expect our bills to reduce substantially.
Renewafuel have supported us throughout the installation and commissioning process and in claiming the Government grant of £7,500. My sleepless nights were unfounded. I can recommend them without reservation.

In our case, after our survey, it didn't work out for these but Rob and others on the phone/email were professional and knowledgeable and took a customer-focused perspective. 2nd Battery installation
Rob came to our house gave estimate we accepted and a few days later Blaine arrived with our second battery. All fitted and checked and up and running, we now have two batteries and even on dull days are running off them so saving buying i from the “grid”.

Good experience so far on Very Recent Solar Battery Installation
We have had a good experience so far with the installation of an installation of a solar battery to our existing solar panels. This Company were not the cheapest I could have used, and I have no experience on the battery/inverter that was installed,but from my initial inquiry to completion this company were very efficient, everything was explained to me, the installation was carried out very speedily, without any mess or disruption, both installers were very pleasant and explained everything they were doing. I await my paperwork and guarantee after payment, but we are at the Xmas holiday period so I’m sure things will be sorted promptly.

Poor follow up care and support
Preinstallation, and installation all went great. No issues really, and everything that went wrong was addressed rather swiftly. It really gave us a good vibe about this company.
First issues were when someone came to show us how the app works. They quickly asked us how the installation had gone and proceeded to register this on trustpilot as if we had done it - dishonest. Needless to say that I deleted this as soon as I found out.
We had quite a few promises when we were deciding on what company to use. One of this was that our current electricity company will be provided with the required paperwork and notification that the panels had been installed, so that any excess energy we harvest can be duly paid to us by our electricity provider. This is month 3, no handover, and so, if we are supplying to the grid, there is no record of this.
We have contacted our electricity company who have been very good at listing what we require. We have contacted everyone from Renewalfuel who has been involved with our installation to ask for the MCS certificate and a DNO letter (don't ask me what they mean, but Renewalfuel should know).
We have had a few promises, but this is week 3, and so far we have only had the mcs certificate. Messages have been left by both my husband and I but we have been promised and very little actions. We are still awaiting the DNO letter.
Sadly, I have noticed that Renewalfuel seem to address its customer's issues when they bring them to trustpilot, and so here I am. Could someone do the right thing and send these documents via email and by post to our home address as promised some 3weeks ago?
Am dreading what the next few years will be if I need something from Renewalfuel and just pray that all goes well and I don't need to go back to them, as the above experience has sure left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Very happy with company and engineers
The company installed two 5.12 batteries for me and they`re working very well.
The installers arrived on a Friday and completed the job apart from only installing one battery, not two. However they sorted it out and returned on the following Monday and completed the job. Phil and Bailley the engineers, we`re competent and friendly. Phil sorted the app out for us. Good job!

So easy to talk to the company
So easy to talk to the company. None of this "We will call you back" or "There is no-one available" I got a first class service every time I phoned.
The installation went extremely well. The salesman was very helpful, The electrician was very efficient and the call-back for the system set up was easy to understand.
