This was one of the worst stays of our entire trip. The noise was constant — people dragging chairs and talking loudly well into the night. On top of that, the accommodation is located right next to a Hells Angels bike studio, with dozens of extremely loud motorbikes coming and going overnight. It was impossible to sleep.
I was travelling with my young family and we had a long-haul flight back to Australia the next morning. None of us got any rest, and it really affected our experience.
Whenever I raised these issues with the host, they responded saying they would notify the guests or address it — but nothing ever changed. It felt like we were just being pacified rather than actually helped.
To make things worse:
• The TV remote didn’t work, and instead of resolving it, they told us to go out and buy batteries ourselves.
• There were only 6 dining chairs, despite our booking being for 7 people. When I requested a chair be left outside to avoid entry while we were out, they did the opposite — and came into the premises without our permission. This was a clear breach of trust.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this property. The lack of care and the ongoing disturbances made for a really uncomfortable and stressful experience. I hope the host takes these issues seriously for future guests.

Absolutely disgusting and not hygienic
Absolutely disgusting and not hygienic. There's a flies'home down a bed as shown.2 of my friends got fleas' bite because the beds got flea. Flies everywhere. Horrible. I got lots of pictures and video.

I was a bit concerned about our stay with Stay U-nique as I read the reviews, but still decided to go ahead, and boy am I glad we did. The location was great, the house fit us very well. It was easy to get from and too anywhere we wanted. We had everything we needed, and they provided all the information they could.
It was really a great stay and they were very responsive and accomodating.
Cryptic rules for guest ‘profile’
States in the ‘rules’ for booking their apartment that ONE guest needs to be over 25. We had 4 guests over 25, yet were somehow denied the property without any real reason at all. Now we have to delay the organisation of our trip for up to 10 days refund time, probably at extra cost because this company cannot make its own rules clear. It’s obviously reasonable to have certain conditions of the profile who stays but unless these are clear people are going to lose time and money booking only to be cancelled and have to wait for their refund. Really really poor
Avoid at all costs
We had a terrible experience with Stay Unique. The property we were staying in had mould and damp through the apartment. We raised this issue on day 2 after we noticed it and were told this wasn’t mould and was not dangerous. We were also told that the owner had come to see the issue and said there was no problem, this was not true as I had stayed home that day waiting for the owner. After spending hours on the phone to Stay Unique and Booking.com I was told we could only leave and get a refund if I got a doctors note to prove I had asthma and could not stay in a mouldy house. We spoke with the owners ourselves and learned he had never said he had been in the property and was more than willing to refund us. Stay Unique had lied on both fronts. We ended up staying the whole 4 weeks and the mould issue was a constant problem. Due to numerous emails being ignored by Stay Unique, we ended up speaking directly with the owner to get any resolution. I would never use Stay Unique again and would never recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Sol as an exceptional hostess. Her extensive knowledge of Barcelona proved to be invaluable. She not only provided us with insights regarding our lodging accommodations but also offered valuable information about the surrounding areas, encompassing dining options and local attractions. Her efforts significantly enhanced our transition from Madrid to Barcelona, making it an unforgettable experience. I am extremely disappointed with Stay Unique in Malaga and their utter lack of empathy in the wake of the tragic and devastating Dana storm in Valencia, Spain. The storm has caused severe damage to the roads, and tragically, lives have been lost. Many of us, including myself, are unable to travel, and it's unclear when we will be able to take our vacation again. Despite these extenuating circumstances, Stay Unique has refused to refund our reservation, showing no consideration for the situation.
What's even more frustrating is that while other property owners in different cities have fully refunded us and shown understanding, Stay Unique is only interested in keeping our money. Initially, they tried to blame AirBNB's policies, and now, instead of offering any kind of solution, they are demanding an additional €15 if we are late for check-in and a further €50 for checking in after 9 p.m. This is absolutely ridiculous! How can they expect us to even make it to the property when roads are destroyed, and we're still dealing with the fallout of a natural disaster?
And btw, AirBnb is open to full reimbursement without withholding taxes and fees from both parties, but Stay Unique is insisting that AirBnb policies tie them completely.
Stay Unique's lack of basic humanity is appalling. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating paying customers this way during such a tragic event. I urge others to think twice before booking with them—it's clear that they are more interested in money than in seeing human beings in customers. Do yourself a favor and choose a company that values its customers and shows genuine care in times of crisis.
We loved the apartment and location
We loved the apartment and location. It was lovely to see the square from the terrace, although it does need a little maintenance it was a little wobbly. However we definitely will return. It was good value for money. Its definitely soundproof, except for one neighbour with young children in the apartment next to us for the beginning of our stay. We will absolutely return.

Terrible Experience with Stay Unique – Unjustly Rejected Without Reason
I’ve been a loyal Airbnb member for 8 years, without a single bad review, and yet Stay Unique has unjustly rejected my group’s reservation without providing any valid reason. We are a respectful group of women, and this trip was meant to be a relaxing weekend getaway, yet we were denied the opportunity to stay.
What’s worse is that instead of canceling the reservation on their end, they asked me to do it, citing "system issues" as the reason they couldn’t cancel themselves. This puts the burden on me, and despite their claim that we would receive a full refund, it feels highly unprofessional and manipulative. I’ve traveled extensively using Airbnb, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had.
Be cautious when booking with Stay Unique, as they seem to have little regard for their guests, even when you have a perfect history on Airbnb. Very disappointed!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at one of the towers in Martiricos, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Stay U-nique offers excellent 24/7 customer service, with a highly professional and accommodating team. We highly recommend their services for a remarkable and seamless stay.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
We booked this company for a family trip and less than two weeks before our stay, they canceled our booking for 10 people.
First, they claimed the reason was potential noise and parties. However, we are a family group that doesn't drink alcohol.
Then they said all guests must be at least 30 years old. Our group consists of married couples aged 27-30.
Finally, they changed the requirement to all guests needing to be 35 or older. This is the first time I've heard of such an age requirement.
Their final email stated that our guest profile does not fit/coexist with their property.
With less than two weeks to go, we now have 10 people without a place to stay. Avoid this company at all costs, especially if you are from an ethnic minority background.
We are travelling from london all frequent travellers.

Stayed in a flat at Paseo de Martiricos 30 in Malaga, the building has several flats and only a few are rented by agencies, others are owned, this means that rent holiday guests are treated by the rude staff of the building as Z-list customers, not worthy of basic respect and politeness. The bald security guy who supervises the swimming pool kicked me out of the building shouting to me to "go in the streets" and making rude gestures the last day, even becoming aggressive and threatening against a woman, so much that I felt scared for my personal safety. I just wanted to stop a couple of hours in the common spaces before leaving for the airport (which was always permitted in every structure I went to), no one explained to me it wasn't allowed, but if these are rules, the guard could just explain to me more politely, not treating me (a paying guest) like a beggar. Really schocking and doesn't give a good name to spanish hospitality. Do yourself a favour a book a hotel or a flat managed directly by the owner, instead of these dodgey agencies who don't own the building and where you're treated like dirt the moment you have to check out. And to the disgusting staff of the building (especially the fat bald supervisor of the roof swimming pool), learn how to treat guests, instead of acting like animals, i've never been treated so poorly anywhere I've been to vacation. Disgusting.

Paid in full months in advance and then CANCELLED my booking a week before my holiday to Barcelona and could not provide any reason for doing so!!!
Avoid U-nique agency
Avoid U-nique agency. They behaved as scammers. Here is our honest review after the experience in their Malaga apartment:
1. The apartment supposed to have sleeping places for 4 persons (sofa bed, double bed), but it has only 2 places because the sofa bed was broken. (To sleep on the sofa without unfolding it is not possible, it’s short as you can see on the picture)
We were 3 people and it was paid for 3 persons. Despite contacting the agency, they provided no solution. In the end one of us had to MOVE to a different place to live, because in the apartment was no 3rd place to sleep.
2. The door lock was not working properly, and sometimes we couldn't enter to the apartment or were locked inside. We even had to get out through the window once.
3. Access to the building and apartment was exclusively through a mobile phone, which proved challenging for my elderly father who doesn't use smartphone and simply did not have an internet in this country. We asked for the physical keys, the agency rejected our request. However they provided us the keys after we got locked in the apartment and door was not opening through a mobile phone.
(But the keys work only from outside anyway)
4. The living room does not have a real wall and does not have a window (not mentioned in the listing).
It’s separated from the neighbors by plywood. So, you will hear a constant noise and parties, music at night.
Also, there is almost no light in the living room-kitchen. And if you open the plywood window, it will lead you to the neighbors and someone passing by can simply enter to the apartment through this window.
5. The agency barged in before check-out time. At 9:35am someone was entering to the apartment, though check-out is at 11am, causing further inconvenience and discomfort.
6. Also, they supposed to have parking. But 2 days before they sent a message, that the parking will not be available.
No one of the mentioned issues was solved or compensated by the agency.
Excellent service and apartment
I was with my friends in Barcelona and the apartment and the service were excellent. They also answered all our questions. We will come back with them.

Awful service. During our stay the roof in our apartment started leaking. This caused a serious flood which I cleaned up, but was kept awake half of the night.
When I complained about this they just ignored my emails.
They just take your money and don't care.
