Got scammed out of $775 USD

Got scammed out of $775 USD from rewarble. They suspended my account with a $500 balance and around $200 in cards. They gave the reason that the cards I redemmed were "unauthorized" even though I already showed proof of identity and that the person agreed to pay me in rewarble cards. This is clearly chargeback fraud, but they simple refuse to restore my balance and accounts since I don't have the purchase recipt. Horrible services, horrible support... it's great for scammers.

From what you’ve described, this situation may be related to how the vouchers were obtained or used. In some cases, transactions can be flagged as unauthorized by our payment partners, particularly when vouchers are received through third-party arrangements or exchanges. In such situations, we are required to follow strict compliance and verification procedures.

Unfortunately, without valid proof of purchase for the vouchers (such as an original receipt), we’re limited in our ability to restore balances, as the funds may be linked to disputed or reversed transactions on the provider’s side.

We also want to highlight for future readers that gift vouchers should only be obtained from trusted, official sources. If vouchers are received as part of private deals or exchanges, there is a risk that they may later be reported or reversed, which can lead to account restrictions.

Feels more & more like a scam

Feels more & more like a scam. So far the visa card has been declined everywhere & support claims they're overwhelmed, no surprise there. As a result, it's impossible to communicate with them & you end up with a dead card. Avoid!

Card declines can sometimes happen due to provider-side restrictions, such as certain merchants being blocked, transactions being flagged as high-risk, or limitations within the specific card program. That said, we completely understand that from your perspective, this can feel like the card is unusable.

We also want to sincerely apologize for the delays in support responses. During periods of high demand and recent disruptions with card programs, response times have unfortunately been longer than usual - and we know that’s not a great experience.

disgrace.

I've been using rewarble for almost a year now, it's genuinely been atrocious. 1st off, they claimed they had 3d secure on their cards (which they lied about, they never had a card with 3dsecure enabled on it.)
2nd, i cant even try to elucidate how SLOW their support is. I've seen people wait over an entire MONTH with no response.
3rd, Random unauthorized transactions are extremely common for some reason, i myself have lost over $100 in 1 day from these transactions.
4th, Most of the features like transferring balance from a card back to your account balance rarely ever work and you cant even "freeze" your card, you can only delete it which permanently gets rid of your funds.
5th, Their fees are unreasonably huge for some reason.

Overall, horrible experience, i'd never recommend anyone try using this garbage.

Regarding 3D Secure, the availability of this feature is always clearly indicated during the card creation process on our website, including whether 3DS is supported or not for a specific card program. We understand this may have caused confusion, and we appreciate you raising it.

We also sincerely apologize if you experienced delays in support responses. At times, especially during major technical issues or disruptions with card programs, our workload increases significantly, which can unfortunately impact response times. That said, we are continuously working to improve this.

Concerning the unauthorized transactions you mentioned, we take such matters very seriously. We would really appreciate it if you could reach out to us at support@rewarble.com with more details so we can investigate your case properly. If any issue is confirmed, we will of course review it and provide appropriate compensation.

As for card features like unloading, these have been temporarily unavailable at times due to technical issues or changes in card programs. We understand how important these features are and are working on improving stability.

Regarding fees, these are necessary to maintain and operate the service. Rewarble products are not traditional gift cards, but payment-facilitating solutions, which involve additional operational and provider costs. Full details are always available in our fee policy for transparency.

What you’re describing may be related to our newer Suna Mastercard program, which was recently launched and is still under development. At the moment, balance and transaction history are not always displayed correctly in the dashboard, which can make it seem like funds are changing unexpectedly. We recommend not relying on the displayed balance for now.

Additionally, please note that a small fee is applied per transaction attempt (even if declined), which can affect the balance over time. This is part of how the card program currently operates and is communicated on our website during the card creation process.
