Reykjavík Cars - Car Rental in Iceland Reviews 

We took a two-week road trip with a Rav-4 from Reykjavík Cars and we're still talking about it. The online booking process was very simple, and even though we hadn't taken out insurance, we were able to do so at the airport at 2 a.m. (we recommend taking it out, as Icelandic roads are very adventurous). The advice given is extensive and useful. We picked up the car at the airport and then dropped it off in Reykjavík, which was definitely the best option.

We rented a BMW X1 at Reykjavik Cars. We were provided a Kia Sorento from BLUE Cars and did the complete Route 1 Roundtrip including the Arctic Coast Way. We were very happy with the trip and with this car.

I had a very good experience. The location close to the airport made the pickup very easy and convenient after arriving. The car was in excellent condition and worked perfectly during the whole trip. Thanks to it, I was able to explore Iceland comfortably and visit many places that would have been difficult to reach otherwise.

Very easy booking process and fair prices. We got a nearly new car in very good condition. It was very easy to get the car and the drop off was even bettet. All in all it was a perfect car rental and we would 100% reccomend and book again.

Although we arrived very late in Reykjavik at night the helpdesk was manned and the staff were very friendly and helpful and took their time to give us a very good service. We actually got a special offer as we‘ve rented the car for a long period of time.

The whole experience was smooth and the prices were affordable. The staff were friendly, quick, helpful. Making any last minute amendments was not an issue at all. They were accomodating and flexible in the best possible way. I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone.

They have a full time service in the airport. No problems, just take the car and enjoy iceland. They send you some advice about problems you should have (landmannalaugar for example). Great expirience, amazing car

We booked the rental car online for a week, though the 1st car provided was slightly older version, we got it replaced immediately after a day. The customer service team were fabulous and very courteous throughout the process. The hand over process was equally easy and simple. Highly recommend them.

The pick up and drop off experience was super easy and convenient! We opted for full coverage on the car given the ever changing weather conditions and terrain in Iceland, but this made the drop off process even easier and gave us peace of mind. I liked the lock box for pick which allowed us to access the car on our own time.

Convenient location near the airport. Self-check-in and express check-out are a plus. The car was clean and had extra options we hadn't requested. A very positive experience.
