Excellent service

New boiler and radiators installed within the day, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. After installation remote devices set up ready for use, given good clear instructions on how to use the boiler and remote devices. When they left you would not know any work had been carried out, left the premises spotless.

Dave definitely knows his stuff

We use RFW to service our gas boilers these days, and our regular engineer is personable, helpful and knowledgeable. We're also having conversations about upgrading our system, and Dave definitely knows his stuff. Recommended!

A Great Company to work with

Richard and the team always respond to customer needs and requests in a very professional way. The customer service is always 100% and the engineers who carry out the work are friendly, knowledgeable and tidy. Highly recommended

Great job!

We were apprehensive about having our warm air heating system replaced with central heating due to the thought of the distribution of having floor boards up etc. However, Rich talked us through the whole process so we were well prepared beforehand. He promptly replied to any emails and communicated well throughout.
The actual installation was carried about by Dave and Aiden.
Dave led the job seamlessly. Both Dave and Aiden were helpful, informative and very pleasant.
They cleared up well every evening, so any disruption was kept to an absolute minimum.
Overall, great job and very efficient service. Would certainly recommend!

Amazing (and quick) service.

My 81 year old Mum recently had a leak from her shower, resulting in water pouring through the ceiling downstairs. RFW Heating were recommended to us and I can see why. We called their office at 11.00am and by 4.00pm a very friendly and experienced plumber had traced the source of the downpour and had fixed it. I can't recommend this company more highly. Amazing from start to finish (5 hours!). Standing ovation from us.

Absolutely delighted with RFW

Absolutely delighted with RFW - one call to Richie after being let down by 2 local plumbers and he was at my grandad's house within an hour and resolved the problem immediately and without complication. Followed up with on site photos, a phone call to discuss the issue and further advice. Can't recommend this company highly enough - prompt, efficient, professional and great value. Wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again in the future!

Outstanding customer service

I called this company of Friday morning to arrange a job - they gave me an appointment on Tuesday, Within an hour and a half they phoned me back saying they had a cancellation and could they come that lunchtime. They arrived within 10 mins of the anticipated time, did the job to a very high standard and had issued the required paperwork by 4pm. Simply the most efficient and customer focussed service from a Heating Engineer I have for years

Shocking Service -or rather lack of!

If I treated my legal clients as RFW have treated me, I’d have no business!

They were delighted to take £5,000 to install my new boiler but not to service it this year to keep the guarantee valid.

I’ve been fobbed off trying to get RFW to do the annual boiler service to keep the guarantee valid since December 2022 with “I’ll call you back” and “give me a shout next week to arrange”, “I’m with a customer”.

I attribute this to last year RFW servicing the boiler and it losing pressure immediately thereafter. They initially tried to say I had a radiator leak, but the problem only began immediately after the boiler service - there was no leak. Eventually boss Rich came out the third time and corrected the fault which was caused by incorrect refitting of a part removed during the boiler service!

They clearly didn’t like the hassle of having to put their work right.

My Boiler is now one month past the service interval as a result of being fobbed off by RFW and them not servicing it. Sadly, other companies are currently too busy to service it. RFW have let me down.

If ever Worcester refuse to honour the guarantee as a result, thankfully I have the legal know how to claim against RFW. And will surely do so.

Evidence available to back up this review

UPDATE - RFW have now seen fit to be in touch - but only after being prompted to do so by this negative review!

They have somewhat sarcastically posed a question at the end of their reply that I must have been happy with them since I asked them to quote for additional works!

Let me be clear - I asked if they would replace a radiator for me IF and WHEN they came to service the boiler - and the review above makes it clear that their lack of engagement about arranging the boiler service means this hasn’t happened and I’m still left high and dry

We apologise that we have failed to get back to you with a date to book in your boiler service, this has been overlooked due to staff shortages and illness ,
The member of staff you requested for has been off of work ,
We are managing to get on top of the work load now so would be happy to service your boiler.
Ref leak ,
We attended on several occasions to investigate why your boiler was losing pressure and isolated the boiler over night to prove it wasn't linked to the boiler as well as took time to look around the rest of the system.
When Rich attended to investigate he didn't do anything to rectify any fault as there wasn't one ,
The leak might have been a small leak on a radiator or valve but it certainly wasn't anything to do with the boiler service or original installation, therefore the one star review in our opinion is unfair , the original installation was carried out to a high standard , isn't that why you requested our company to quote for additional work ?

Quick response and good service

Really quick response to our boiler failing on the day after Boxing Day. Cheerful efficient chap attended first thing the next morning and fixed the issue.

A job well done.

My old heating system was on its last legs and I needed a replacement. Having received several visits from various heating companies telling me what I needed RFW came and asked me what I wanted and as their prices were favourable RFW got the job. Greg, their fitter was very polite, knowledgeable, efficient and tidy. He also had a good sense of humour, as removing the old system proved a little tricky. I would like to thank RFW and Greg in particular for a job well done.

We needed a new boiler fitted to replace our ancient one

We needed a new boiler fitted to replace our 20+ year old model. We chose RFW Heating to carry out the work. Absolutely five star service, all work carried out promptly and efficiently by polite and respectful heating engineers. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new Worcester Greenlife boiler. We 100% recommend RFW and would have no hesitation in using RFW Heating again.

Amazing service would not go anywhere else now!!

We approached Richard after another plumber flooded our property so I was quite anxious about it all. I had quotes from 4 company’s but I knew already I wanted to go with RFW due to there reviews to top it off RFW was the best priced out of everyone but also the one with the best reputation so I was relived. Richard came out to see me within a day and he had the quote to me a couple of hours after seeing him. I also expressed my concerns and was reassured and everything was thoroughly explained to me any questions I had Richard was quick to answer at any time that I texted or called him. When I asked for them to go ahead with the work they were able to schedule it for the day later which was a shock at how quick and efficient it was but such a big relief. We had Greg come out and he was amazing!!!! He made us relaxed as you could see he knew what he was doing and how professional he was it was as if it was natural to him. We can not praise him enough!! He did not stop from the moment he walked in until he left. He was so focused on the task and very considerate of us he kept apologising about any mess when fitting the boiler and also he explained everything and answered any questions we had. On completion of the boiler the place was clean and tidy when he left you wouldn’t of known he had even been! I am so pleased with the service and will be going back for my annual service and recommending RFW to anyone that asks. We would not go anywhere else now after having such a pleasant experience after a nightmare of one! Thank you all so much again.

Quick to respond to call out ,gave the options ,repair or replace no pressure on you .I choose to replace the boiler .Boiler installed quickly and efficiently,no mess no stress ,you would never have known I had a workman in my house .Amazing service thank you.

Thank you for all the care you take...

We really cannot thank you enough for your amazing rescue when my mother's hot water pipe burst during this really difficult and busy time for you with the COVID-19 virus. Not only did you come round immediately, but you were back the next day with the necessary bits and pieces to repair it all with such care and safe distancing, knowing that everyone was in self-isolation.
