I bought a Ruark R2 which was delivered very quickly by normal delivery, which subsequently proved to be faulty. We telephoned the Brighton shop and spoke to Toby who was our salesman. He said he would arrange collection and offered an immediate replacement. We had ordered a cream model, but the only ones in stock were dark brown, we decided to go ahead with a straight swap. Phone call re this made in afternoon. The following day the replacement arrived at about 11am, the faulty model was collected and the replacement was the set up. We preferred the replacement's colour when it was unpacked, the sound is absolutely great, but it was all overshadowed by the amazing service Tobi at Richer Sounds in Brighton gave us, genuinely second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I have bought a number of items from Richer Sounds through the years, all of it is still going strong (oldest item CD player now 33 years old!) So thank you Richer Sounds with a special thanks to Tobi for providing such amazing service. Brian Simmonds

Hired Arcam Radia 25+ amplifier for home listen with my existing hi-fi set-up and room. Compared to Rega Elicit Mk5 from a rival store. Both sounded a great upgrade from my existing 30+ year old Dual CV5600 amp, especially in the mid range. Rega had more bass, Arcam had more treble and ultimately a more balanced sound with my Systemdec player + Fyne Audio 501 speakers. Store was on hand by phone to help me sort out initial set up (you have to push in the dial to select desired input). Purchased Arcam the same day, all very smooth. Thanks Toby

A great team at the Brighton store.

Whilst there was an issue with a buzzing sound which led to me returning to the shop, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff who were very proactive in finding a solution. Great customer service and a very good product which we’re very happy with.

My AV was turning off randomly, I ordered a new one but found it would not set up and was stuck in a loop. Richersounds replaced. But even new one had same issue. My old one I got working by turning off hdmi cec. So asked for refund.I would not buy from anyone else as service with richersounds is 10/10

The staff member who sold me the item — and later resolved my issue — was very professional and knowledgeable at all times. Everything was handled quickly and with real care.
