Great purchase experience

We discussed the geometry of my media wall and Simon was kind enough to provide me with an additional 3rd party wall mount that would be more suitable than the one bundled with the tv. Delivery was also very smooth and quick.

It's very easy to shop at Richer…
It's very easy to shop at Richer Sounds. The product I wanted wasn't in stock at the branch I visited, but the staff knew exactly what I wanted and ordered it for collection the next day. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable and offer a very good service. Just what you want from a small, specialist retailer with a nationwide supply chain to back it up.

After Sales Service Needs Improvement
Excellent initial sales service, but was informed that turntable would be ready for collection and set up - but it turned out that wasn't the case and had go wait for for this to happen in the shop which took a while. Set up person apologised and did a good job. Also didnt think the £ 100 record selection was that good as had to choose from limited in store selection.

Having reviewed what happened during collection with the team, it appears there was a genuine misunderstanding about what would be prepared before your arrival. Whilst we were expecting to fit the separately purchased cartridge before re-boxing the turntable, you were expecting it to be fully assembled and ready to use. In practice, we would never normally transport a turntable fully set up, as parts can easily be damaged in transit and much of the final adjustment would need to be carried out again once it reached its destination.
That said, I'm sorry this wasn't explained as clearly as it could have been at the time. We'll take the feedback on board and review how we set expectations during the sales process to help avoid similar confusion in future. In the meantime, I will arrange for our customer service team to follow up with you directly and make sure all is well with the product.
