Richer Sounds - Edinburgh Reviews 

I was looking for a new OLED TV for my study and initially considered the Samsung S90F. After some research, I found they use lower-quality (WOLED) panels on that model, so I decided to go with the LG G5 instead.

I first checked Peter Tyson as their prices looked better than buying direct from LG, but I’m glad I came across Richer Sounds. I spoke to Bowie at the Edinburgh store, who was incredibly helpful and walked me through all my options including price matching against Peter Tyson with a little extra off.

I originally ordered the 48" OLED, which came with a free LG US60T soundbar (unlike Peter Tyson/LG direct). However, after doing a bit more research, I realised the 55" model not only looks better, but offers better contrast. I called back to see if I could change my order, and they sorted everything out quickly - upgrading me to the 55" model and replacing the soundbar with the LG US70TR, all at a lower price than Peter Tyson and LG direct.

Delivery took a few days, but for the price I paid, I couldn’t be happier - just need to get everything set up now.

Huge thanks to Bowie and the team at Richer Sounds for their patience, expertise, and for helping me get the best deal. They’ll definitely be my first stop for any future audio/visual purchases - and I’d recommend starting there yourself, as you may struggle to find a better overall experience/price elsewhere.

Brilliant customer service, had an issue with the product, the guys in Edinburgh went above and beyond to sort it. Would absolutely recommend shopping here.

Projector
Reported the fault on the Saturday, courier collected on the Monday. Repair carried out quickly with regular updates. Was back in store on the Thursday and collected on the Saturday.

Phone call got me to a person which is a great start. He understood the problem and offered two solutions. I am very happy with the result of my purchase. Delivery was next day so ideal for me.

We had already visited John Lewis and had not received the level of help we needed. We were happily surprised to find that Richer Sounds were very helpful and knowledgeable. We are unable to install the television ourselves but they were able to help. The TV control was a little complicated but think we know how to do the basics now. It is a Samsung.

I had been thinking about replacing my 5yr old LG 32" Smart TV which was OK but the 'smart' features weren't great. The LG 42" looked good but I needed advice about its 'smart' features: Richer Sounds in Chambers Street Edinburgh provided this and a good price!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Lars in the Edinburgh branch and from the company overall. Everything from ordering my new TV through to delivery was seamless.
I was advised that delivery would take between 1-5 days but it arrived the next day, which I was absolutely delighted with. The delivery men were pleasant, called me beforehand to confirm when they would arrive and eventually placed it in my room of choice.
I also received a courtesy call from Lars the following week to ask if I was happy with everything, which I was impressed with. There’s not much of that good old fashioned customer service around now so it was lovely to feel like a valued customer.

I needed some wireless earphones for my holidays (old ones had died) so popped in to RS Edinburgh. Bought a pair of JBL Beam 3's. They sound great so far, but the holiday flight will test the noise cancelling aspect of them. Good quality gear at a reasonable price! Noticed some nice NEAT speakers when I was in the shop........ might need a closer inspection later!

The staff in Edinburgh branch are absolutely amazing/Bowie whom I dealt with was brilliant. Couldn't ask for better service. Great knowledge and plenty of patience Couldn't have been treated any better. Thanks Bowie.

I received my dvd player and cable in 2 to 3 days very happy with dvd didn't know how to setup tv to hifi phoned them up and they went through it step by step now everything works perfectly very helpful staff wouldn't shop anywhere else thankyou Richer Sounds Edinburgh would give more than 5 stars if I could 😀 Steve7rr

Having been a customer since the branch first opened, I'm pleased to report that the staff are as friendly and helpful as ever.

My pre-sales enquiry was handled well and useful information and advice given online. My visit to the shop addressed all my questions and helped me to make a purchase there and then. Delivery was much quicker than promised and the delivery team was helpful and friendly. I am certain that any follow-up support needed will be delivered.
