Richer Sounds - Manchester Reviews 

We have had a small tv for many years. We decided to upgrade to a smart television. We went to our local Richer Sounds where Ryan helped us enormously in choosing the right one for us. Thank you Ryan .

Let me just start off by giving my thanks to Ryan and Adrian (the store managers) they are absolutely brilliant and you are definitely in safe hands if you buy something from them.
 
I wasn’t happy with my TV after procrastinating whether it was satisfactory or not for a few months (obviously completely my mistake, not theirs as I was well outside the 30 day window) and decided to reach out and see what they could do.
 
The store managers personally rang me multiple times to make sure I was looked after, and they didn’t disappoint.
 
They decided to arrange an full refund and free collection of the old 85 inch TCL TV for me to put towards a brand new OLED (an 83” LG B6), they even went to the effort of sending out a box for me and liaising with their installers to get me exactly what I needed AND giving me the lowest price out there for the B6, and just to top it off they also give a generous 6 year guarantee on most TVs.
 
As my old unit was technically within TCLs tolerance they had absolutely no obligation to really help me at all, let alone get anywhere near the level of customer service they provided me.
 
I can be quite a tricky customer to deal with! I get annoyed by even minor imperfections with my tech, any other company probably would’ve told me to fob off. They are the only company I can remember ever actually impressing me with its overall level of customer service.
 
If you are looking at buying anything AV related, there’s a decent chance richer sounds have what you need. I cannot think of any reason (bar them simply not stocking something) that I wouldn’t recommend someone buy from there, they have the best service plus the best prices. And they actually know what they are talking about and will be completely honest about what you can expect.
 
I went into the store last week with a friend to help him pick up a soundbar and look at some speakers, Ryan talked us through some stuff and let us test a few different models before beating the best price on the internet for the soundbar by double the amount they were required to and throwing in an extended return window + next day pre 12pm delivery on the house. Can confirm said friend is also very pleased with the service and is loving the soundbar, he unsurprisingly will probably be a returning customer along with me.
 
They even gave me a free umbrella when I went into the store which was very handy given how horrid Manchester weather gets. Actually a pretty nice umbrella too 😂
 
Overall I would say that I have nothing but praise for the store and richer sounds in general. If you are looking for new TVs, soundbars, speakers, etc this is the place to go hands down.

Really great service. Ordered some headphones via the telephone service. The staff were really knowledgeable and friendly. The headphones were available to pick up in store the next day. Staff in store were also great and provided free unpacking and demonstration service. They also checked the product for me to make sure they were working before I left the store. Can’t fault them.

From my first phone call enquiring about the headphones I was interested in, to visiting the store, trying them and making my purchase the service was exemplary.
I will certainly use them again.

I visited Richer Sounds Manchester to get some headphones for my phone. Being in-ear phones I was looking for they obviously cannot be demo tested.
The staff could not have been more helpful in describing what to expect from what I was buying.

Visited the Manchester shop and found all my enquiries answered by a guy who really was knowledgeable about the very aspect of Sonos audio. He directed me to the right product to buy to add a turntable to the audio system already in place in my home.
Great service as always from Richer Sounds. Delivered as promised on the day they said to expect it.

The manager here gave good reliable information about several products to make a true choice of what we wanted.

Adrian in the Manchester, Deansgate shop was very helpful and informative when we were looking for a new tv and dvd player.

Rob was excellent he demonstrated the Cambridge EVO1 in store and I went home to think about on phoning back to order the unit, everything went perfect and the unit arrived the next day. Highly recommend service

An easy and excellent transaction. An excellent price for an excellent Av Receiver. I had the Yamaha RX-V6A for two years and I was never happy with it, even though I tried tweaking it many times and it always had HDMI handshake problems. My Monitor Audio Speakers never seemed to use their full potential with the the Yamaha Amp. The Denon is a different beast, best decision I ever made is to buy the Denon S770H.

Had great advice and service from Adrian and Ryan at the Manchester branch for a WiiM mini, which i'm delighted with.

I made a poor choice of equipment which didn't meet my needs, Richer sounds staff and policy's worked together to change what I ended up buying which really has exceeded my expectations and stayed well within my Budget.

Easy to get hold of staff by phone, who on the whole were always helpful and eager to please. However during the clearance/sale event it was evident that stock was moving at pace which resulted in me not getting the product I originally picked.
Although all turned out well in the end!!

Just a very pleasant experience all round. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I ended up with a great product at an incredible price. VIP Club membership is a definite bonus. Store was Manchester Deansgate, so a shout out to them. I hadn't actually bought anything at a Richer Sounds in 25 years or more (I mostly live abroad), so was great to see it's still as good as ever!

Knowkedgeable, without being patronising. I really did need help and the gentleman whi served me was brilliant, friendly and not at all pushy. Delivered very promltly too.
