Just Terrible - avoid like the plague. I bought a larder unit from them…
I bought a larder unit from them through eBay. I paid for it on the 28th October 2018 and was guaranteed pre Christmas delivery and was told delivery would be 14 th Dec. At the start of Dec I was advised there was a delay and it would be a week later. Then I was told they had no choice but to delay to the start of the year.
Around the 7th jan I contacted them to chase the delivery and I was told on the 14th it was now ready for delivery. On the 16th I contacted them again to check if it was out for delivery. I was then told it would be delivered on Friday the 18th. I then got a message from the supposed courrier asking for payment. I contacted Richmond house furniture as I had paid £995 which included free delivery. They agreed and said they would sort. I then got a textfrom the courrier saying they could not deliver as the driver was in an accident. This was day 85 after I had purchased my credit card only offers protection for 90 days ( although I also paid via PayPal which offers 180). I contacted them for a refund after all it had been delayed by over 5 weeks and more than 3 times to say I required a refund and that I had now opened disputes with my credit card and PayPal. They eventually agreed to refund however have done so by electronic cheque through PayPal- the slowest way possible.
It is the 28th of January and I am still waiting to receive the funds back. I would avoid this company like the plague.
